Here's What the GOP Needs To Keep Harping On

(Two posts today. Please scroll down)

With a hat tip to Z:

Have the GOP candidates across the board repeat it loudly and often to the point that the mainstream media cannot ignore it.

  2. thanks, so glad you posted this video...not enough are seeing it. I wish non Conservative Americans were.
This needs to be a GOP TV Campaign 24/7 ad but I doubt they have the guts..or the money. Funny, my word verification is SPINE; that's what the GOP needs!

  3. Unfortunately the mass of the GOP is too part of the problem.

Gonna be tough to sell this from a credibility perspective.

  4. Another Great Depression was predicted the first time... What will we have now?

  5. Obama inherited a mess and he has spent trillions of dollars making it much worse. And, he has the "audacity of hope" to ask for more!!!! How stupid does he think we are?

  6. What a day on Wall Street! I'll post a little something about that tomorrow.

Anyway, this afternoon I got home from the swimming pool in time to hear Obama blabbing on the air waves -- followed by even more tanking of Wall Street. In my view, the direct results of Obama's ill-chosen words.

    Why won't Obama fire Geithner?

  7. From the WaPo immediately following Obama's speech today:

    Obama’s horrifyingly bad speech

He was a half hour late. His head turned from side to side as if he were attending a tennis match. He practically never looked in the camera, as if he were averting our gaze. And those were the strong parts of President Obama’s disastrous speech.

It was a bit like a slow-motion car crash. After a while, one stopped listening to the blather and simply watched the stock ticker go down and down. And down some more.

    [...]

This illuminated Obama’s predicament — devoid of ideas, bitter about political opposition and completely in over his head. If the election were held today, I bet he’d lose. By a lot.

I noticed Obama's dead eyes as he gave his speech today. Sheesh. He IS in over his head.

  8. Bob Schieffer yesterday:

"Things are worse" since Obama took office, and said to Axelrod's face.

  11. "Definitely the time to cut spending."

That's only the half. Who's going to tackle monetary policy? Who's going to take on the $16 trillion the Federal Reserve made in emergency loans ($3 trillion going to foreign entities)?

By definition our monetary system is founded on debt. Tinkering with fiscal policy is merely the tip of the iceberg.

It'd be great if people would quit echoing the conservative pundits who keep hammering spending cuts and take the time to really look at the history of banking and money in this country. It would serve them well and they'd come to find that all this chatter about spending cuts is little more than a distraction from our monetary problems.

  12. Obama needs his cord to spending cut. Scary times... Cutting our debt and deficit is very important.

  13. Yep, they have to keep on this message, it's the democrats fault and also obamas, it was their watch entirely until recently and it's those on useless morons.

If they still want to blame Bush and the Tea Party, then they should eff off and hand over power to them. No responsibility, then no power either.
