About Criticizing Obama

Saw this over at Breitbart, citing New York Magazine, and burst into the laugh of the lunatic:
Mitt Romney’s plan of blatantly lying about President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech is clearly drawing blood. But what makes the attack work so well is not so much the lie itself but the broader subtext of it....

The key thing is that Obama is angry, and he’s talking not in his normal voice but in a “black dialect.” This [meaning, criticizing Obama's you-didn't-build-that remark] strikes at the core of Obama’s entire political identity: a soft-spoken, reasonable African-American with a Kansas accent. From the moment he stepped onto the national stage, Obama’s deepest political fear was being seen as a “traditional” black politician, one who was demanding redistribution from white America on behalf of his fellow African-Americans....
I can't take much more of this excrement.

In my view, we are not far away from this: "You MUST be a racist if you don't vote for Barack Hussein Obama."

  1. Let these liberal egg heads write all the excrement they want. The only people reading their crap is other egg heads and us to a lesser extent. They are engaged in figurative fiddle playing while Rome burns.

Barry revealed himself and for once the Republican candidate was brave enough to use it against him. The phrase goes with others that Barry has said in recent weeks.

So take solace, the libereals are complaining because using the quote is working. Despite the bests efforts of pollsters to stck the deck there are more States in play than in recent elections.

  2. Not far from it? It's all we hear from leftists!

I think I might have a concussion from my head hitting the desk.

So, repeating the president's own words is racist?

If Romney's tone gets a bit angry, will the media not portray him as an angry, white, racist?

How did Obama get a 'Kansas accent'? I thought he was from Hawaii... Or Chicago... And spent time in a madrassa...Now he's so afraid of speaking in a 'black dialect'? What, pray tell, does the author consider that to be? Is he really the racist?

Anyway, Hillary Clinton changes her accent when she goes south of the Mason-Dixie line. Are libs up in arms over that?

And as for the redistribution thing... did Obama not belong to a Black Liberation Theology church for 20 years?

More and more, I feel like I live in an alternate universe ruled by illogic and lies.

  3. I agree it is incredible the degree to which liberals are able to twist reality.

Consider the folks spray painting CFA rests. with Dont hate messages. The guy was being interviewed by a faith based group about his faith based business and people got offended and hateful while telling him not to be a hater.

Mayors and an elected official in New York (forgot her name), swing into action putting on their thought police hats strangely similiar to Farenheight 451 and Nazi Germany pre WWII. But the liberals are the enlightened ones...

Will we respond to this liberal fascism or go silently into bondage without so much as a whimper?

  4. Great comment, Brooke!

    I've posted it in a stand-alone post.

  5. The liberals are beginning to foam at the mouth. This is good. Their mask are slipping and people are beginning to see the true them for the first time.

  6. Was Romney lying, or is the leftist merely applying Alinsky's Rules for Radicals in order to discredit the GOP candidate? It does sound like "circling the wagons" to me.

  7. Conservatives on Fire,
Yes, the Left is freaking out -- more so than usual.

It is my opinion that this foaming at the mouth is the realization that their "Chosen One" just might lose in November.

Plus, anything to shut up dissent.

Sick of it, sick of it, sick of it!

  8. Nice spin on the lies from the right.

    The truth:

Fox Edits Obama's Speech (again) on Business to hurt him. Romney said the same thing, then made attack ads featuring a small businessman who took millions in government loans!

  9. I'm from Kansas (Obama's Mom's hometown of Wichita, in fact) and we don't have accents. Everyone else does.

  10. If Government ever had any REAL (existing) money to loan it was confiscated from the Private Sector, one way or the other!

  11. According to the video linked above, Mitt Romney said these things "years ago ..."

How is Mitt Romney stealing Obama's Rhetoric?

It is always clear when Obama is speaking to a predominantly black crowd: it's when his black voice comes out. Frankly, I'm getting tired of hearing it.

  12. "Mitt Romney's New Welfare Ad is Breathtakingly Dishonest"

Notwithstanding the arguments generated by this issue, one FACT remains steadfast. The longer people stay on any form of "dole", without working, the more difficult it becomes to return to the discipline of work! It's just human nature.

  13. The reason "you didn't build that" works as effective criticism of Obama is because it is a TRUE insight into what he actually believes.

He might wish he not left the teleprompter at home that day but it's his attitude that we all depend on government that is the issue.
