Huh?

According to this source, dated June 21, 2012, when Twitter went offline on that same day, two complaints read as follows:
"Twitters broke, my life has no meaning anymore," one user wrote on the social media website Tumblr.

Another wrote, "twitter is down and my life is over."
What is WRONG with these people?

Is there no end to superficiality and triviality?

Speaking of "Huh?" please watch the following video of schoolchildren being heckled by adults for singing "God Bless the USA" (hat tip to Leticia of My Daily Trek):

At one point, one child says, "You can talk to my mother like that!"

  1. What is it that these people hate? Is it God or is it the USA or is it both?

  2. I think they hate this guy who is going to get hammered by Gillibrand but comes around trying to make a few points by cynically using their children.

Sort of the same reaction they would have if they found out Joe the Plumber came in to lecture rhetoric.

  3. Democrats never cynically use children.... oooops.

Of course, Republicans are too polite and courteous to heckle THEM.

The real difference between the parties is that Republicans can respect political differences... and Democrats CAN'T. They lack any "tolerance for dissent" (as evidenced by this video).

  4. The Occupy activists (the 7% last time I knew) cynically endangered their children and used them also. They should have known better than to drag children to the Occupy rape camps, and it is irresponsible parenthood and citizenship to get children to wave Occupy signs with their general message of never question authority and give more and more power to the rulers.

  5. The adults might be cynical Ducky, but the children certainly sounded sincere.

  6. I love the comment by the child, out of the mouths of babes. But apparently she CAN talk to the mother like that. The Conservatives should have called the police.

(I tried posting a comment earlier, but Blogger .... TypePad is no better)

  7. That was an entertaining video of what Democrats are all about, shouting down the opposition.

It really looked like the SEIU in action with the added harmonica playing wino and homeless guy in a red, white, and blue baseball cap.

The activist mom complaining about the song being above the kids age level probably has no problem with kids listening to cop killing gangster rap.

  8. Te adults seem to want to make choices about their children's education.

Rethugs usually value that. Oh, they made the wrong choice, I see.

  9. i guess that the views of an Atheist principle and dues paying union member trumps the kids every time, right duckman?

Those are the "right" choices that ducky's taunting "adults" value...

  10. Aww...shucks! Thanks for the hat tip.

I am still in shock how these "adults" could heckle children.

How low and disgusting they have stooped.

  11. I get exactly the same feeling from the event regarding that bus monitor (elderly lady, 20 years a driver 2 years a monitor) who was abused by a group of children and caught on video.

Apart from the right and freedom to sing what they want, they were attacked by adults - at least the abusive kids could argue their childishness!

  12. Give me a break, these union zoombies have used hundreds of children to sing praises to obama. You can easily find videos were children were taught in government run schools paid with our tax dollars to brain wash our youth...

So the message of the day is. You can only sing praises to Democrats not God and Country.....

  13. Ok I get the homeless guy had no where else to be but what about the other adults? I realize Obama and the COmmunists have ruined the economy but surely these folks had better things to do than worry about 40 children singing.

I mean serious did they put it on their calendar...Be at school to protest children singing? Lehoser

Finally it appears none of them had children in the group so it really is now of your damn business...

In contrast, you expect me to allow my children to be brain washed by your government run school where parent have zero input

  14. imagine yelling "you're going to burn in hell" to children?

    As for Twitter......"HUH!?" is right.

  15. I know I'm going rogue here, but, if these children were brainwashed by their teachers, or school administrators to sing that song, it is as creepy as the infamous "Barack Hussein Obama Mmm,Mmm, Mmmm" chant.

If they voluntarily sang it of their own free will, it is admirable, and those adults who were heckling them should be ashamed of themselves.

I wish I knew more of the story.

  16. It would have been just fine with those hecklers if the kids had been singing praises to Obama Remember these incidents among others? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW9b0xr06qA

  18. Mark,
I'm not sure, but I think that the situation was this: these schoolchildren were supposed to sing the song in their school, perhaps as part of an end-of-the-year program. Classes do that sort of thing all the time.

Anyway, the school wouldn't let them sing the song Therefore, the group sang the song in the public playground.

You can read one news story about this matter HERE. Apparently, the children were enthusiastic about singing the song.

  19. Hi AOW.
    1.
Actually i don't spend much time on Twitter just enough to get my 'messages' trough, but some of the people that i see make me wonder when they sleep .
You may log in anytime of day or night and they seem online.
One of my contacts also mentioned that it's very addictive.
My guess not more then the commercials they slam at you trough the tv.
    On me they're a waste of money.lol

    2.
"schoolchildren being heckled by adults for singing "God Bless the USA." those 'adults' wouldn't happen to be 'Obamabots'?

  20. This reminds me of another kid a long time ago. He went to a July 4
parade around 1970 and had a flag. A hippie stole the todlers flag and
    created an enemy.

Some of these kids are going to remember.

  21. That was singing? On whose say-so? That was dispirited caterwauling by a bunch of kids who wanted to be anywhere except there listening to a bunch of adults gape their mouths.

    Well, they are only kindergartners.

  23. SONG?

    What sing?

I didn't her anything that sounded like a song.

Just a lot of clatter and chatter. That crowd couldn't carry a tune in a Mack Truck.

Anyway you slice it, it was an UGLY scene.

  24. I've been meaning to blog this one too. Where does the time go?

I bet the loons who heckled these kids didn't think anything was wrong with children in schools being forced to sing praises to Obama.

The behavior of these left wing fascists is deplorable!
