According to this YouTube link:
The entire 'family' of 11 are males • One of the 'children' is 19 years old • The 'family' consists of two brothers and nine male children • All 11 were named Mohammad (unconfirmed report) • There were no mothers or wives or sisters in this 'family' group • The 'family' lives in an area of Britain known for Islamic extremism • A family member's e-mail address is linked to the Taliban and Al Qaeda...
I figured it had something to do with where some of the members had traveled. It's amazing what a well-funded press cannot dig up and report. They must be too busy reporting on Dominionists taking over the US government and all the appalling and totally unwarranted islamophobia...
ReplyDeleteI heard an old snippet of news from a few years back when Geert Wilders visited Britain. The Islamomaniacs in the street said he had incurred the death penalty and that if it were an islamic state, his head would be on a pike already.
That is what is now thriving in the west, thanks to our own fear of calling evil by its name.
So far the information about the Facebook page is still vague.
DeleteIf it was a hoax then preventing their travel really hasn't done anything to increase the quality of our intelligence gathering.
I've read a few reasons and none of them establish a firm threat.
But it soothes the D-I-D-A-D-I-N crowd and Trump voters.
The most likely reason is prior travel patterns, which could have been for good or for ill.
DeleteI don't put any stock in the rest of the information that is out there.
SF,
DeleteI dunno. It seems to me that there must have been other Muslim families with similar prior travel patterns, but yet not denied access to flying.
It is my understanding that so many Muslim males traveling together without females in the group can be automatically "flagged." Maybe I'm am not remembering correctly?
Sad for the kids, if it's a mistake; I'm hoping that we continue to err on the side of OUR SAFETY, not theirs. It's THEIRS to prove they are not connected with that facebook account......not ours. But, the sad "they were in tears" accounts are effective.
ReplyDeleteOur media seems so happy to condemn us, and Trump (?), and write so sympathetically on the family's side.
Can we check every background BEFORE tickets are purchased? Of course not. They win. They know this and they win. They might even get more than the reimbursement for their tickets$$$
If Muslims are being persecuted, why are we hearing about it? Wake me up when they're scared to run their mouths.

DeleteRepetition for emphasis. Whenever the subject of Islamic atrocity or mendacious, malignant Muslims comes up, DIDADIN is the only response I will ever bother to give, because it gets straight to the ROOT of the Problem of Muslims in the West.
It's very very simple: THEY DON'T BELONG HERE. PERIOD!

ReplyDeleteWe learn more about "Sue" from what she says about "Lisa" than we learn about "Lisa.
DeleteLisa simply believes in complete Freedom of Speech to the greatest extent ever seen in the blogosphere.
I, personally, disagree with her policy, because it does allow the place to become littered knee-deep in garbage, which I won't tolerate at my place.
HOWEVER, in allowing fools to show how foolish they are and unpleasant, self-righteous prigs to be themselves, Lisa exposes these elements for what they are.
It doesn't mean she, personally, ENDORSES them –– something you and ALL Leftist-Tyrannist Control Freaks –– fail to comprehend.
There goes Sue rehashing old comments again .

Let's make this comment the end of this discussion and not give him/her/it any more attention. Thanks.

Can't terrorists take a break and visit Disney?

The news media's defense of Islam is downright irrational.
Here is another take on this you may find interesting.
http://level-head.livejournal.com/660394.html
Tom,
DeleteThanks for those links. Off to read them now!
From the second link -- and a good point:
Deletethe BBC quotes a Member of Parliament who thinks she knows that the poor innocent British family members were stopped simply because they were Muslims. “Nobody knows why these people were stopped. We do know what the common denominator is between them.”
Is the fact that they are Muslims the “only common denominator”? Almost all Muslims are not being stopped.
From the first link:
DeleteIt was understood that the wives of Mr Mahmood and his brother had stayed at home for the trip because one of them was ill and one of the children did not have a valid passport.
But it is now believed that Mr Mahmood’s wife was in Pakistan at the time.
[...]
It has now been revealed that his relative in California, Muhammad Mahmood, prayed at the same mosque as U.S.-born terrorist Syed Farook and his Pakistani born wife Tashfeen – believed to be the Tablighi Jamaat-run Dar Al Uloom Islamiyah mosque.
The mosque – linked to the “Army of Darkness” group Tablighi Jamaat which itself has historical, indirect links to multiple terrorism cases – became the centre of the investigation surrounding the San Bernardino terrorist attacks.
You know, AOW, I understand the need for collecting "solid evidence" IF a trial is to occur, but very frankly, I, personally do not want to know and certainly do not want to dwell upon the details of any situation involving Muslims.
DeleteAll I know is that I do NOT want THEM anywhere NEAR me, and I do NOT want any of THEM to have ANY power whatsoever that might influence the manners, morals, mores values and religious affiliations of OUR country.
Where Muslims are concerned I am a proud extremist.
We have no business trying ti promote and develop amicable relations with those people any more than we do with poisonous snakes, monitor lizards or any other potentially deadly wild animals.
Since we have no way of knowing which ones we COULD trust, we ought not to trust ANY of them.
Well, FT, I'm more of a fact-based individual. Left brained all the way!
DeleteThat said, this is logical:
Since we have no way of knowing which ones we COULD trust, we ought not to trust ANY of them.
Survival!
AOW: what Americans should be asking themselves is 'Why don't WE come first? Let's WAIT, let's have NATO help the refugees, let's WAIT"
DeleteBy the way, where are these thousands going to work in America? In Germany, their dope Merkel says WE NEED WORKERS...but there are so many unemployed IN GERMANY now, and........it's INSANE.
I'm almost 100% convinced world leaders know a HUGE Muslim threat they can't tell us about and THAT's why they appear to have lost their minds acquiescing to islamist demands.....sounds tin hatted, but why else??
Z,
Deletewhat Americans should be asking themselves is 'Why don't WE come first?
That very idea has long been undermined. Now we are seeing the consequences of that undermining.
I'm almost 100% convinced world leaders know a HUGE Muslim threat they can't tell us about and THAT's why they appear to have lost their minds acquiescing to islamist demands.....sounds tin hatted, but why else??
Somehow, the idea that if we are nice to Muslims -- and cower -- they won't blow us to smithereens.
Since when has dhimmitude worked with regard to coping with Islam? Hmmmmm?
Z,
Deletethere are so many unemployed IN GERMANY now
So I've read.
Merkel doesn't seem to care about that matter, does she?
re Merkel, that's why I believe there is some threat the Western leaders know and we can't know...they're bowing and scraping all over the place to islam; just does NOT MAKE SENSE whatsoever. And Islamists are acting like they are well aware of this situation and taking advantage of it. Islamist/jihadists are in every town in our country, we have to realize that.
DeleteThe positive things I'm starting to hear about are muslims who are speaking out against islamists....but I heard a case just this morning where Congressman King of NY said he had a close associate who's an imam in NY who was supposedly totally on board with King on getting islamists caught and then, when the NYPD found that some rabid islamists were actually IN that imam's mosque and not silent on their ambitions, the imam NEVER turned them in. THis is so troubling.
And it's why the left needs to shut up and get out of the way and let the big boys handle it....we need to figure out a way to threaten BACK, to stop being so transparent and trusting. As Rubio said, we're going to win, or they are. "I want US to win"
Beamish got me (above) with "Wake me up when they're scared to run their mouths."
Time for US, the owners of this country under siege, to WAKE UP and take control...Instead, the Black Lives Movement and DiBlaggio and others are trying their absolute darndest to weaken our law enforcement on a daily basis.
Think islamists aren't noticing?
Z,
DeleteI believe there is some threat the Western leaders know and we can't know...they're bowing and scraping all over the place to islam; just does NOT MAKE SENSE whatsoever.
Sorry, but I don't buy it.
But even if that's the way it is, cringing in the wrong move. Have you heard about H.R. 569, which was introduced in the House Judiciary Committee before the Christmas recess? You can read about the resolution HERE. Ignore Robert Spencer's explanation if you like; but I happen to believe that his analysis is spot on. Just look at who's backing the resolution!
PS: I heard about that matter which Peter King mentioned. VERY TROUBLING!
DeleteYou don't believe there's a threat? You just think that Western Leaders just suddenly decided "I LIKE ME SOME MUSLIMS AND WHO CARES WHAT hAPPENS TO MY PEOPLE?" Well, ...considering what's going on, you could be 100% correct!!
DeleteThe link doesn't open correctly....sounds like I should even be a tad afraid to open and read about this resolution. what's it say "WE WILL PUT AMERICA SECOND TO ALL ISLAMIST DEMANDS?" :-)
Z,
DeleteSure, there are threats. Maybe even "the big one."
But I don't believe that any such threats is the reason that Western leaders are bowing the knee to Islam. In fact, I think that there is more than one reason -- one of the main ones being that Western leaders don't understand the Islamic paradigm.
Answer me this...How many Western leaders have actually read the Quran? Nor selected verses -- the entire Quran. Thomas Jefferson did. What did he conclude?
I recently stumbled across information about Thomas Aquinas's take on Islam. See this.
Why did I think there was more to this story than what we had been told?
ReplyDeleteBunkerville,
DeleteI'm sick and tired of "journalists" ever promoting the narrative -- particularly the kumbaya narrative. It's not realistic!
The Link, for me, goes to ALways On Watch and says "This page can't be opened"...did Bunkerville apparently get in??
DeleteUgh.
DeleteJust a sec.
Z,
DeleteHouse Democrats Move to Criminalize Criticism of Islam
and
index of articles about Thomas Aquinas and Islam.
Let me know if those links aren't what you're looking for.
There is ALWAYS more to the story... It's the backstory that didn't meet the agenda of 'women and children' so it was quickly dropped...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...
ReplyDeleteFrom Are the Police Starting To Recognize That Almost Every "Islamophobic Hate Crime" Is a Fake?:
The Tracy Islamic Center, in California was attacked with a Molotov cocktail
Officers have been unable to find CCTV or release a description of suspect
Police department says without a suspect it's not clear it was a hate crime Islamic group...
More at the above link.
Nothing I can say about the video as I do not trust the media nor statements made by a man linked to Al Qaeda. But he's got to be a fool traveling in a large all male group or he's another "clock" kid. I hope Obama doesn't invite him to the WH and get a free "I'm sorry" pass.
ReplyDeleteNo act of vandalism can truly be labeled a hate crime until there is an arrest and establishment of a motive.
ReplyDeleteRemember that the gay community did the same thing. It kind of died down after the lesbian couple spray painted their own garage door claiming a "hate crime" - until the evidence pointed back to them. Prior, there was a spat of "hate crimes" against gays.
Based on FBI statistics, hate crimes against Muslims are fairly anomalous. Question: Does each individual death in San Bernardino count as a hate crime? Or is there just a blood pool with one count?
Did 9/11 count as "one" hate crime? What about the deaths in Boston, or perhaps Chattanooga?
As Americans, it is important that we continue to hold tight to the concept that blood is sacred, precious in the sight of God.
If Islamists wish to heap guilt on Americans for "hate crimes" perhaps they must first ask for our forgiveness for an embassy bombing, the USS Cole.... you get it.
Fair play. That is all that Americans want. We want fair play.
