When voters discover they can vote "largesse" and politicians determine this is the primary goal of the bulk of voters, politicians aim to provide voters with what they want, in order to retain their seats and their personal and collective power.

I would like to nominate Knuckles McCain.
ReplyDeleteActually it should go out to everyone who bought the rabies media blather about Benghazi but Knuckles is special.
He's got a beef with Susan Rice over some campaign stuff that went down in 2008 so here's his chance to get her. He is also desperately looking for a road back to the old days when Tim Russert would ask him on the Sunday shows to blow smoke.
So he gets out in front of this Benghazi show and goes after Rice.
Then Petraeus testifies the other day and "roh roh" Petraeus tells the intelligence committee that the CIA gave Susan Rice the talking points.
So Knuckles joins Sarah Palin on the right wing bone pile. But I think the right wing blogs are too embarrassed to report it.

I'm sure that you remember Watergate. Well, in the beginning, nobody even began to imagine that Watergate would result in the resignation of the President.
The Watergate break in occurred on June 17, 1972 (my wedding day, BTW), and Nixon resigned in August 1974.

I fear the families of those killed will never get satisfaction.
Also I find it odd that we have not heard from any of the wounded or others that survived the attack.

ReplyDeleteAbout the title of this post....Mr. AOW doesn't keep up with his blogging very well. BUT he does suggest titles for my blog posts when I'm stumped for a good title. I've never been good at coming up with titles!
Anyway, Mr. AOW gave me the idea for this post title when I was trying to think of synonyms for the word absurdity.
I find it odd that we have not heard from any of the wounded or others that survived the attack.
What's THAT all about?
I think that one day the truth about Benghazi will come out. The truth always does -- but sometimes later rather than sooner.
Those postal service execs should have given themselves more money, after all no one cares where the money is coming from. Or more accurately, where the obamamoney is coming from.
