See The USA PATRIOT Act: The Story of an Impulsive Bill that Eviscerated America's Civil Liberties at Ammo.com.First two paragraphs:
The USA PATRIOT Act provides a textbook example of how the United States federal government expands its power. An emergency happens, legitimate or otherwise. The media, playing its dutiful role as goad for greater government oversight, demands "something must be done." Government power is massively expanded, with little regard for whether or not what is being done is efficacious, to say nothing of the overall impact on our nation's civil liberties.Read the rest HERE.
No goals are posted, because if targets are hit, this would necessitate the ending or scaling back of the program. Instead, the program becomes normalized. There are no questions asked about whether the program is accomplishing what it set out to do. It is now simply a part of American life and there is no going back....

The Travel Ban At The SCOTUS: Upheld 9 To 0 For Certain Portions
![]() |
| The United States Supreme Court Building |
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've already heard about this June 26, 2017 decision from the Supreme Court of the United States.
Yesterday, President Trump was taking a victory lap on Twitter:
Very grateful for the 9-O decision from the U. S. Supreme Court. We must keep America SAFE!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 26, 2017
Note this detail of the SCOTUS decision, a detail which might have some far-reaching consequences:
[T]he court concluded that foreigners who have no ties to the U.S. cannot argue, on their own, that constitutional protections apply to them. They're not U.S. citizens, U.S. students or U.S. employees, so the protections established in the Constitution do not apply to them....Read the rest HERE.
Enforcement of the limited 90-day travel ban may begin as early as Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Now that the SCOTUS has ruled, will the protesters screeching about Trump's travel ban go home? Not a chance:
...A number of high profile Democrats and migrant rights advocates vowed to continue fighting against the ban.The 21st Century Democratic Party is the Party of Lawlessness.
Tom Perez, chair of the Democratic National Committee, said Trump’s order remained “an unconstitutional and un-American assault on our country’s religious freedom”.
“Democrats will continue to fight this hatred every step of the way,” he said....

Even Without The Wall
Like many others, I'm frustrated that the border wall promised by Donald Trump is not under construction and still remains unfunded. The wall was the primary plank of Trump's campaign platform and launched his first political campaign.
That said, if the following information is true, the Trump Administration needs to get the word out — before Donald Trump loses the support of a core group within the electorate that elected him to the Oval Office. WE THE PEOPLE are wary of our so-called elected public servants, because they have so often reneged on campaign promises made.

Comey On Capitol Hill
![]() |
| Mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer, philosopher Blaise Pascal (1626-1662) |
I didn't watch all of FBI Director James Comey's March 20, 2017 testimony on Capitol Hill. Of course, I've seen snippets of video and the screeching headlines.
Is THIS accurate?
FBI’s Comey Doesn’t Deny the FBI Is Wiretapping Trump: 'I just can’t talk about anything that relates to the FISA process in an open setting’Read the rest HERE.
The FBI is leaving open the possibility it sought -- and perhaps attained -- a wiretap of Donald Trump's communications.
When addressing the controversy over whether the Trump Tower was wiretapped during the Obama Administration, the FBI director, James Comey, tread carefully, acknowledging there is an investigation into Donald Trump's campaign's communications with Russia, but said there is "no evidence" to support Trump's tweets exactly as written.
Comey notably left open the possibility that it had, or still is, monitoring Trump communications.
When asked whether the FBI sought a FISA court warrant to wiretap Trump's team, Comey simply said he cannot comment on anything FISA related.
Here's an excerpt from Comey's question and answer session with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.):...
Another question: What facts were presented in Comey's testimony?

Z's post today reminded me of this February 5, 2016 article, which I've cited numerous times in comments but possibly not in the body of a blog post: DHS ordered me to scrub records of Muslims with terror ties.
DHS whistle blower Philip Haney:
In a national address on June 14, 2016, Barack Hussein Obama evinced more ire directed at Donald Trump than toward the murderous jihadists who slaughtered 49 people and wounded many others in Orlando's Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016.
Meanwhile: ISIS propaganda video exploits Orlando nightclub murders and calls for more attacks on US.

Hillary Clinton, Glib Liar
Hillary Clinton's proclamation upon Donald Trump's being named the presumptive GOP nominee: HILLARY CLINTON SAYS THE WHOLE WORLD IS COUNTING ON HER.
Reality check:
All this yapping about emails — when the significant issue is HillaryBeast's private server. Previous secretaries of state did not have private servers. She's using smoke and mirrors to avoid that larger issue.
A few weeks ago, I asked one of my Democrat high school students this question when she parroted much of what HillaryBeast said in the above video. The exchange went something like this....

Blatant Inconsistency
Or, if you prefer, outright lies (with a hat tip to Old NFO):
From Refugee Resettlement Watch (dated April 8, 2016):
The Obama Administration is looking to resettle 85,000 or more refugees this year from around the world and for Obama’s last opportunity to submit a proposal, he is aiming for 100,000 in FY2017.Read the rest HERE. Much more information!

From FBI admits iPhone mistake that may have cost it San Bernardino evidence:
In the chaotic aftermath of the shootings in San Bernardino, California, in December, FBI investigators seeking to recover data from the iPhone of one of the shooters asked a technician in the California county to reset the phone's iCloud password....Read the rest HERE.
It is now my understanding that the self-destruct passcode on that iPhone — the passcode which is leading to this conflict between the court and Apple — is not a passcode which Syed Farook employed but rather one put on that iPhone at the request of the FBI.
Did no IT specialist along the way issue a warning?
Did nobody say, "If this, then that"?

DHS Whistleblower
Something that has been rumbling below the radar as Americans have been focused on the 2016 National Election and Super Bowl 50:
DHS ordered me to scrub records of Muslims with terror ties by Philip Haney, who worked for the Department of Homeland Security for fifteen years (dated February 5, 2016).
Excerpt:
...As the number of successful and attempted Islamic terrorist attacks on America increased, the type of information that the Obama administration ordered removed from travel and national security databases was the kind of information that, if properly assessed, could have prevented subsequent domestic Islamist attacks like the ones committed by Faisal Shahzad (May 2010), Detroit “honor killing” perpetrator Rahim A. Alfetlawi (2011); Amine El Khalifi, who plotted to blow up the U.S. Capitol (2012); Dzhokhar or Tamerlan Tsarnaev who conducted the Boston Marathon bombing (2013); Oklahoma beheading suspect Alton Nolen (2014); or Muhammed Yusuf Abdulazeez, who opened fire on two military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee (2015).What are the possible reasons that the Obama administration ordered the scrubbing of those records? I can think of two:
It is very plausible that one or more of the subsequent terror attacks on the homeland could have been prevented if more subject matter experts in the Department of Homeland Security had been allowed to do our jobs back in late 2009. It is demoralizing—and infuriating—that today, those elusive dots are even harder to find, and harder to connect, than they were during the winter of 2009.
1. The above-mentioned individuals were being used as exploitation platforms.
2. The Obama administration is Islamophilic to the point of whitewashing Islam.
Other reasons?
