Mozart's Lacimosa:

Lyrics:

Lacrimosa dies illa
Qua resurget ex favilla
Judicandus homo reus.
Huic ergo parce, Deus:
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.

Translation:
Mournfully be that day
On which from ashes shall arise
The guilty man to be judged;
O God, have mercy on him.
Gentle Lord Jesus,
Grant them eternal rest. Amen.

  3. So the B.O. administration continues to shove LGBT AND RESTROOMS IN OUR FACE while turning a blind eye to RADICAL ISLAM, the latter so adverse to the former. This is just one more example of the insanity we have had to endure for the past >7 years. Why, in the World, would any thinking person want more of this derangement?

    2. Well, Well, [he] just added a new dimension to the term "brief" (as in briefing room). Predictably, he made no mention of radical Islam but used this as an opportunity for his irrational view of inanimate objects known as firearms. Just imagine what would happen if this POS were able to confiscate such from the overwhelming majority of citizens, now able to protect themselves under the 2nd Amendment. I haven't heard yet; was the crime scene a, so called, 'gun free zone'?

    3. QUESTION: Will the proliferation of Islam in the US result in our becoming an all-out POLICE STATE? Where is the out-cry from the Islamic community? What good are they? PC is a massive epidemic of mental illness which will destroy America, one way or another.

    4. From what I gather all bars in Florida are 'gun free zones' so that makes them all a 'target rich environment' for unstable Islamic kooks who have a distain for the Western culture that they have invaded, to include an alleged disallowance of alcohol.

  4. ISLAM is a CANCER.

Like any form of the dread disease it must be treated with AGGRESSIVE ATTACKS ––

POISONED to DEATH with CHEMOTHERAPY -–

BURNED to DEATH with RADIATION ––

or CUT OUT SURGICALLY and DISPOSED of as the HAZARDOUS WASTE it is.

Anyone who does not believe this is an IMBECILE.

CANCER cannot be dealt with DIPLOMATICALLY.

CANCER cannot be REASONED out of EXISTENCE, it must be PHYSICALLY DESTROYED.

The morons who do not believe this, and would self-righteously defend the indefensible sit IMMERSED, HAMSTRUNG, and DROWNING in MYRIAD bits of DATA, as always, instead of getting to the ROOT, DIGGING it OUT, and BURN ING it.

Any attempt to be "REASONABLE" about the dire THREAT ISLAM poses to DECENT PEOPLE everywhere in the WORLD is a complete WASTE of TIME and ENERGY.

When it is clearly a KILL or BE KILLED situation, only a FOOL would FAIL to mount as strong and vicious a COUNTERATTACK as may be mustered.

If the WEST is to SURVIVE, __ I-S-L-A-M __ M-U-S-T __ D-I-E.

And the mush-brained APOLOGISTS for ISLAM must be OSTRACIZED and EXILED.

  5. Funny how like the Santa Barbara family, the relatives immediately denied any link to Islam... the father stating that his son had been "disgusted at the sight of two men kissing in Miami." The media immediately tried to run with the "hate crime"... seizing on the preferred anti-rightwing narrative.

Obama's speech this afternoon was flat. No surprise there.

He ordered flags to go half mast. Immediately. After the San Bernardino jihad attack, the flags were not ordered to go half mast for a couple of days.

No. I have actually complimented some of Obama's speeches. I don't know if I've done so here at this site, but I have done so at other sites -- and here at home.

This wasn't just another mass shooting. It was a jihad attack on LGBT's.

    4. PS: As sick as I am, I forced myself to watch Obama's speech this afternoon. I was hoping that he'd finally say "the words." He didn't, of course. But I thought that he might because LGBT's were targeted and murdered.

    5. Obama's speech today:

"Today, as Americans, we grieve the brutal murder -- a horrific massacre -- of dozens of innocent people. We pray for their families, who are grasping for answers with broken hearts. We stand with the people of Orlando, who have endured a terrible attack on their city. Although it is still early in the investigation, we know enough to say that this was an act of terror and act of hate. And as Americans, we are united in our grief, our outrage and our resolve to defend our people.

"I just finished a meeting with FBI Director Comey and my homeland security and national security advisors. The FBI is on the scene and leading the investigation, in partnership with local law enforcement. I've directed that the full resources of the federal government be made available for this investigation.

"We're still learning all the facts. This is an open investigation. We've reached no definitive judgment on the precise motivations of the killer. The FBI is appropriately investigating this as an act of terrorism. And I have directed that we must spare no effort to determine what -- if any -- inspiration or association this killer may have had with terrorist groups. What's clear is that he was a person filled with hatred. Over the coming days, we will uncover why and how this happened, and we'll go wherever the facts lead us.

"This morning I spoke with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and conveyed the condolences of the entire American people. This could have been any one of our communities. So I told Mayor Dyer that whatever help that he and the people of Orlando need - they're going to get it. As a country, we are going to be there for the people of Orlando today, tomorrow and all the days to come.

"We also express our profound gratitude to all the police and first responders who rushed into harm's way. Their courage and professionalism saved lives, and kept the carnage from being worse. It's the kind of sacrifice that our law enforcement professionals make every day for us all. We can never thank them enough.

"This is an especially heartbreaking day for all our friends -- our fellow Americans -- who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. The shooter targeted a nightclub where people came together to be with friends, to dance and sing-to live. The place where they were attacked is more than a nightclub -- it's a place of solidarity and empowerment where people have long come together to raise awareness, speak their mind and advocate for their civil rights. So this is a sobering reminder that attacks on any American -- regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation -- is an attack on all of us and on the fundamental values of equality and dignity that define us as a country. And no act of hate or terror will ever change who we are or the values that make us Americans.

      (continued below)

      Delete
    6. (continued from above)

"Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. We have to decide if that's the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing -- that's a decision, too.

"In the coming hours and days, we'll learn about the victims of this tragedy. Their names. Their faces. The joy they brought to families and friends. The difference they made in this world. Say a prayer for them and their families -- that God give them the strength to bear the unbearable. That He give all of us the strength to be there for them, and the courage to change. We need to demonstrate that we are defined more - as a country -- by the way they lived their lives, than by the hate of the man who took them from us.

"As we go forward together, we'll draw inspiration from heroic and selfless acts -- friends who helped friends, took care of each other and saved lives. In the face of hate and violence, we will love another. We will not give in to fear or turn on each other. Instead, we will stand together, united, as Americans, to protect our people, defend our nation and take action against those who threaten us.

"May God bless the Americans we lost this morning. May He comfort their families. And may God continue to watch over this country we love."

    1. That's certainly strange.

The son was questioned due to threats three times.
      He committed domestic violence.
Now evidently the FBI was so freaking incompetent they didn't know dad is a Taliban sympathizer.

But clearly it was clear sailing for the son to get a "G" permit and purchase an AR with an oversize magazine. The little wife beater needed it for home protection no doubt.

Of course the item about his father would carry more weight if it you didn't link to Geller but if it's true our intel certainly screwed up royally.

  11. I haven't heard much about regulation at all.
Can you be more specific because you come out with that same canned post every time we have a mass shooting.

Guy has a history of domestic violence but there is nothing blocking him from obtaining an AR and high capacity magazines. What should set off red flags, if anything?

I notice that this started as a shoot out with law enforcement. Weren't they armed? Why couldn't they stop him?

But I guess if people in a loud crowded club where survivors say they couldn't even see the source of the shots and didn't even realize there were shots till bodies fell would have been a powerful deterrent firing in that atmosphere.

But where the 2nd waves on as an absolute, no questions are allowed.

  14. Assault rifles, ammunition and materials that could be used to create explosives were found by Santa Monica authorities early Sunday morning in the car of an Indiana man who said he was in town for a Gay Pride parade, The Los Angeles Times reported.

The arrest of James Howell comes just hours after a shooter opened fire on a gay nightclub in Orlando, killing 50 people and wounding at least 53 more before dying in a firefight with police.

Santa Monica Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks said on Twitter the suspect told a police officer that he wanted “to harm Gay Pride event."

  29. About Omar Mateen's father:

...[H]is political activist father, who is running for President of Afghanistan, seems to have an odd relationship with the U.S. Government and sympathies toward the Taliban.

    [...]

Mateen told NBC News early on Sunday that his son became angry while seeing two men kiss.

“We were in Downtown Miami, Bayside, people were playing music, and he saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry.

They were kissing each other and touching each other and he said, ‘Look at that. In front of my son they are doing that.’ And they we were in the men’s bathroom and men were kissing each other.’”

    [...]

Mateen has met with prominent members of Congress on past trips to Washington D.C. These posts from 2015 show Mateen with Reps Charlie Rangel, Dana Rohrabacher and Ed Royce. Royce is the Chairman of the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

      Here's what...

      (1) There were warning signs. They were ignored because of Obama's doctrine: "We must respect Islam."

      (2) The spin has begun: mental illness, availability of guns, Islam means peace, etc.

WHEN THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM IS THE DOCTRINES OF ISLAM.

The Orlando slaughter wasn't merely hatred of LGBT. It was ISLAMIC HATRED of LGBT.

"Nice Muslims" are intellectually dishonest. They have to know what the doctrines of Islam say. And they are still Muslims???
