Try Objectivity, Please

For a few moments, let's be honest with ourselves, even if we cannot be honest publicly. Yes, our political views make such brutal honesty even more difficult.

The above said, we should make herculean efforts to be honest with ourselves — particularly for us who are voters in a democratic republic. Let's get past cognitive bias and political-party bias and all that.

1) Below is a short video of one of Joe Biden's recent outbursts. He is furious! And in the friendly venue of the AFL-CIO. My grandmother started having such outbursts, complete with similar gestures, post-stroke and when the situation certainly didn't merit such an outburst.

2) Watch President Biden's face in the short video below.  What do you notice about his facial expressions and body language?

2) To close this post, let's have some wry humor and perhaps something we can all agree on.  Heh.

See ’25th Amendment NOW’: White House forced to walk back THREE explosive Biden remarks in three days by Melissa Fine of American Wire (March 27, 2022).

Excerpt:
In a time of crisis, you want a leader who is focused, articulate, and free from hyperbole, but when you’ve got Joe Biden, what you need is a team of Damage Control Coordinators, ready at the drop of a gaffe to run interference and spin statements that, left alone, could escalate an already explosive situation.

Such is the unenviable task of White House officials, who have had to repeatedly walk back comments from the president since he departed Wednesday for Europe on what CNN characterized as “one of [the] highest-stakes presidential trips in recent memory.”

Three times already, the Biden administration has had to step forward and explain what Joe Biden really meant, including a red-alarm rush on Saturday to assure the world that the President of the United States didn’t really call for a violent regime change in a nuclear-equipped nation....

Biden's Big Mess

Silverfiddle Rant!
Biden ran and won as Not Trump:

According to a Morning Consult exit poll, 44 percent of Biden voters said they were primarily voting against Trump (only 22 percent of Trump’s voters said they were voting mainly against Biden). Just 54 percent of Biden’s voters said they cast their ballots primarily as a vote for him. (James Antle)

He was supposed to be the soothing, caring antidote to the vulgar blowhard inhabiting the White House. He was the grandfather figure who would move in, restore sanity and calm everything down.  Instead, chaos has increased, and the bratty leftwing children are running with scissors and demanding a bank-breaking trip to progressive Disney World.
Eight months in, Joe Biden’s presidency is collapsing on every front.

Joblessness has been rising for weeks, inflation remains high, his own border chief is warning of a record-breaking migrant surge in October, and the president’s planned private-sector vaccine mandate is still MIA.

Biden put all his (limited) energy into legislation to transform the nation into Bernie Sanders’ dream welfare state — and that scheme’s imploding too, as Democrats descend into infighting. (NY Post)
What's Going On?

I'm an Occam's Razor guy, so I go for the straightforward analysis:  Joe Biden is a Trojan Horse.  Once they wheeled him inside the gate, leftwing activists and pointy-headed progressives spilled out and took over every corner of the Executive branch, encouraging the far left rabble in Congress to go for the whole enchilada.

Biden is not up to the task.  This is not an insult, we all grow old, but I think his faculties are declining rapidly, and were during the campaign where the press guarded him like it was the 1940's. The kids are running roughshod over him, and We The People will pay the price.

What say you?

"The Poetry" Of Joe Biden

From Video: The Poetry of Joe Biden is an Eye Opener That Every American Should Hear....
The Daily Caller video below begins with a clip of Joe Biden garbling his words but then switches to a tough-guy character in a black t-shirt who recites Biden quotes like it’s poetry. It’s frightening because it’s so hard to believe that this candidate is the frontrunner who may win in November. The video is also funny because of the set-up of the background music and ‘Noir’ lighting....

How can any American consider voting for this man?

By the way, when Biden appears with it for a few minutes, I surmise that he's been injected with B Vitamins and vasodilators. That combination helped my grandmothers to be think and function normally, albeit temporarily.

Joe Biden's Brain

(At Always On Watch 2, in the wake of Mr. AOW's brain hemorrhage on September 1, 2009, and my consequent crash course in neurology followed by up-close and personal encounters with the rather peculiar phenomenon of confabulation, I posted a few times about Joe Biden's brain. This post is an update to those previous posts and is a post irrespective of Joe Biden's political views; in fact, I feel compassion for what I believe to be the man's neurological issues)

Joe Biden is known for making gaffes.  In fact, a Google search of "Joe Biden gaffes" yields lists of Bidenisms. One example of a Bidenism, an example which reads much like spinning tales around a campfire:
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened." –Joe Biden, apparently unaware that FDR wasn't president when the stock market crashed in 1929 and that only experimental TV sets were in use at that time, interview with Katie Couric, Sept.22, 2008
Read the entire list HERE.

Just last week, there was this: Biden Tells ‘The View’ Obama’s Presidency Had No ‘Whisper of Scandal’.

Funny? Sure. But is something else going on?

Check out the following information about confabulation:

Mental Infirmity?

With a hat tip to Rick Well's post Pelosi Brain Drained – Freezes Up, Can’t Babble, Words Just Won’t Come Out for this video:

Read Rick Wells's entire post HERE.

Some have spoken of the need for San Fran Nan to go. See Call for Pelosi to ‘pass the torch’ — from fellow Democratic congresswoman.

In fact, suggestions to that effect have been ongoing since at least June.

The Democratic Party may be stuck, however, in that none of the fresher-faced candidates who are obviously angling for White House loom particularly large. Furthermore, Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden do not seem ready to step aside — particularly in the minds of members of the Cult of Obama.  As for Elizabeth Warren:
Another problem is that early efforts to gather momentum for new candidates, may already be losing steam. The right has begun investing in damaging storylines around Elizabeth Warren, for instance, attacks that closely resemble portrayals of Clinton as, for instance, hypocritical and untrustworthy.
On top of the above, we read in the October 6, 2017 edition of the Washington Post: Trump is on track to win reelection. For those who do not have a subscription to the Washington Post, the entire article is copied and pasted below the fold and worth your time (emphases mine).
