  1. "Labor Unions: Obamacare Will 'Shatter' Our Health Benefits, Cause 'Nightmare Scenarios'"

    --------------

The article starts out with an official stating that unions would be able to keep their health plans.

It goes on to state that workers with health plans are being shifted to part time to avoid providing benefits BECAUSE OF the Affordable Care Act.

The article is so poorly written you must have found it at a blog site.

  2. Rescued Florida Couple Scared of Zimmerman Connection

    --------
I'm waiting for The Blaze to post a graphic with Zimmerman in a superman cape next to a picture of Martin in a hoodie.

This whole thing doesn't pass the smell test.

    Rescue not what it seems?

Now that article has its own problems but maybe generates a little skepticism in even a Daily Mail reader.

Four arrests and a car fire is a war zone?

You should drop that site as a source of anything but hyperbole.

  4. What the press has done with this Zimmerman Juror, as well as with the entire case is deplorable.

The pictures they've shown of Trayvon are years old...and they've kept the secret behind the combination of products he was buying that night.

We are supposed to have a jury of our peers, not a bunch of closed-minded prejudiced racist creeps deciding our fate because of racial differences, and without any evidence.
Skittles, Arizona Iced Tea, Robitussin = ‘Drank’ Or ‘Lean’

People who use this regularly experience some pretty nasty side affects...

Paranoia and they tend to be prone to physical violence.

The dunce of a juror who made those ridiculous comments today ain't the brightest bulb in the pack.
And by the way, Shaw, we have heard liberalism (aka Democrat-ism) described as a mental illness. one only has to read your blog or comments to prove this observation.

You are a very stupid women. Either that or a mentally sick one.

  5. Is the far right going to be going on about the Benghazi non story right through Hillary's administration?

Pretty weak lineup this week, AOW.

  6. Duck,
I found the item about labor unions and ObamaCare at Infidel Bloggers Alliance, but IBA basically published the article exactly as originally published by Forbes -- including the title.

Is the far right going to be going on about the Benghazi non story right through Hillary's administration?

    Yes.

About Rescued Florida Couple Scared of Zimmerman Connection....If this couple is scared as two sources indicate (ABC News is one source), that kind of fright is not acceptable. No matter what one things about the Zimmerman trial and its outcome, Zimmerman clearly did do a daring deed by rescuing that family from a burning automobile.

What is interesting about the story in France is that there was so little coverage of what was going on.

Pretty weak lineup this week, AOW.

    Why, thank you!

  7. Duck,
This whole thing [about Zimmerman's rescuing a family from a wrecked car] doesn't pass the smell test.

Ahem. Not every person on the planet carries a cell phone to take pictures and video with. I don't, that's for sure!

Don't get me started on what doesn't pass the smell test. So much obfuscation about that "gated community" where Trayvon Martin died. See THIS. TMW, who lives in Florida, was telling me about the layout of the community and about the crime rate there.

  8. Publius,
Did you see my post yesterday?

As for Shaw's site, I do look in there once in a while. But there really is no point in trying to reason with the woman. Anything that challenges her worldview is written off by her as irrelevant, a lie, etc.

  9. Duck,
And one more thing about that story about the labor unions and ObamaCare (something you would certainly have noticed if you'd read the entire link):

Last Thursday, representatives of three of the nation’s largest unions fired off a letter to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, warning that Obamacare would “shatter not only our hard-earned health benefits, but destroy the foundation of the 40 hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class.”

The letter was penned by James P. Hoffa, general president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters; Joseph Hansen, international president of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union; and Donald “D.” Taylor, president of UNITE-HERE, a union representing hotel, airport, food service, gaming, and textile workers.

“When you and the President sought our support for the Affordable Care Act,” they begin, “you pledged that if we liked the health plans we have now, we could keep them. Sadly, that promise is under threat…We have been strong supporters of the notion that all Americans should have access to quality, affordable health care. We have also been strong supporters of you. In campaign after campaign we have put boots on the ground, gone door-to-door to get out the vote, run phone banks and raised money to secure this vision. Now this vision has come back to haunt us.”

  10. Please, you progressive thinking racial muckrakers just this once, be honest. And STOP treating Trayvon Martin like he's a saint.
The 911 call explains it, and it has nothing to do with race.

If Zimmerman called 911 solely because he had seen a Black man walking the streets and assumed he had committed or was going to commit a crime based upon his race alone, that would be racial profiling. Of course, if Zimmerman had called 911 and said, “There's a Black man walking around and we need to check him out,” the 911 dispatcher would have laughed at him. However, Zimmerman was concerned with a lot more than race. The evidence proves beyond the possibility of doubt that Zimmerman called 911 because (1) there had been a number of recent burglaries in his neighborhood; (2) a man he had never seen before was walking in the rain at night just looking around, staring at houses; and (3) the man appeared to be on drugs (Martin had in fact been smoking Marijuana). Zimmerman found that conduct to be suspicious and worth calling 911 to report it. The 911 dispatcher also thought the man should be checked out and dispatched the police to the area. I think that given the circumstances, Zimmerman did what any responsible neighborhood watchman would have done.

What Zimmerman did was a good example of behavioral profiling. He realized that generally someone who is just walking around at night in the rain in a strange neighborhood staring at houses and acting like he's on drugs is most likely up to no good. I don't know about you, but that's what I would think. (Note: Zimmerman was unaware that Martin was visiting his father's girlfriend who lived close to where Zimmerman saw him.)
Martin engaged Zimmerman, not the other way around. Martin attacked Zimmerman and knocked him to the ground and slammed his head repeatedly into the ground. All the while Zimmerman was calling for help.

The trial put all of this out there. And 6 Jurors agreed there was no real evidence that Zimmerman did anything other then defend himself. We even have one juror admitting that while emotionally she wanted to convict the EVIDENCE was clear and she could not do so.

Facts are stubborn things to believe, but remain to be facts._________________
There is no evidence which tends to suggest that the 911 call was based upon anything other than suspicious behavior, not race. There may be those who think that Martin's behavior was not suspicious, and I won't condemn them for that. However, I certainly wouldn't want them to be neighborhood watchmen where I live.

  12. When does race stop being an excuse? when does it stop?
The only person in this country who is not have additional protection from the federal govt is the white male
The only person who has the power of the federal govt to serve "justice" in this country with a Hispanic on black event is Trevon
Poor kid should have just told the man what he was up to
There are no winners in those events yet 3 black on black murders have occured in Chicago sense Sat night

but how many black on white events go without notice?
    Black on Black?
Hell vilonce and death is color blind people

    When does race not matter?
What will it take to stop this insanity?
and why would any-one listen to Jackson or Sharpton?

It doesn't stop until enough brave people are willing to clearly and publicly take a stand.

Until then, the race pimps will keep winning.

We've got criminals running our government and their criminality is being heralded by blacks and progressives with the full support of the Driveby media.

But he would have none of it, kept digging the hole bigger, making himself look small and ridiculous.

  15. Illegal aliens have ABSOLUTELY no right to be in this Country! All they are doing is taking and never giving anything back in return.
It's time for ZERO TOLERANCE with these ILLEGAL ALIENS. It's time for them get out of this Country and back in their own Country where they belong.
It's time for Obama to grow a backbone and do the right thing.
When we get rid of the ILLEGAL ALIENS, we will get rid of all the problems that go along with them. How can you ILLEGALLY enter this Country and be rewarded with the precious gift of U.S. citizenship for a crime that the ILLEGAL ALIEN has committed by ILLEGALLY trespassing onto this Country.

It makes no sense to me. Talk about needing comprehensive reform, how about putting an end to this BS! Why should Americans pay for all this criminal activity? Just who do these ILLEGAL ALIENS think they are? Yes, who?I for one, am sick and tired of these ILLEGAL ALIENS snubbing their nose at our immigration laws and the many other laws of this Country. If our Federal Government can not ENFORCE our immigration laws, and get these ILLEGAL ALIENS out of this Country, then let the States do it! One way or another, an end has to come to this illegal immigration, and not with AMNESTY! Amnesty will only encourage more ILLEGAL ALIENS to invade our Country and reward those who broke our laws and raped the American taxpayer in many ways...depressing our wages, taking our jobs, overwhelming our schools with their ILLEGAL ALIEN children, driving without a license or car insurance, all the crime from stolen identities to rape, drugs and everything else.

ENFORCE THE LAW! NO AMNESTY! I repeat, ENFORCE THE LAW! NO AMNESTY! Do I have to say it again? OK. ENFORCE THE LAW! NO AMNESTY! So you hear that Mr. Obama or should I repeat it again?

Illegal aliens have made America the dumping ground for all their illegal alien children, then we have to school them and give them free medical care, free schooling, free food-stamps, and even free Obama-phones. .

When you're tan, brown or black,

Because your folk were held back,

You will always be cut lots of slack

No matter what and how much you lack,

Because Whitey's been put on the rack

To have his bones stretched till they crack.

The White Man must take all the flack,

Have his body tossed into a sack,

They clean the windows, sweep the floors,
Polish up the handles of the big front doors,
Nail the shingles, lay the bricks
Take low wages and play no tricks.

They mow the grass and pull the weeds
And other types of useful deeds
Like trimming trees and carting brush
Neither lagging nor in a rush

They tote the trash, get paid in cash
Move so quickly we don't need the lash,
While under the table we thumb our nose
At gubmint -- the true cause of our woes.

He's not being treated like a saint. He's being treated like a kid who didn't deserve to be shot to death.

Look at it this way Professor (LMAO) you want to push on a nothing like Benghazi? Fine.

    -----
Don't know. Jackson is nearly invisible. The only place I heard him was a broadcast of Democracy Now! and I turned it off. He's too predictable.

Haven't listened to Sharpton but I notice that, despite what the fringe right wing wants us to think, areas where he spoke were nonviolent.

So now that you've done your typical right wing parrot act --- Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton --- let us know if you want to look at the serious issue here.

  22. It is comforting to note that Ducky is still an ass. I was worried that he’d received a brain transplant from a beneficent donor.

I usually agree with dmarks, but he’s off the mark on the issue of illegal aliens. I must ask, what is so confusing about the word “illegal?” He surely doesn’t suggest that we try to make this problem go away by changing their status to “undocumented” aliens. As for jaywalking, it is a public safety issue and not to be confused with entering a sovereign nation illegally for the illegal purposes. In point of fact, everything an illegal alien does within the United States is also illegal —except for voting for democrats, of course.

By the way, try living in Mexico illegally and see how it works out.

  23. Obama yesterday repeated the lie that all of these scandals are phony. It's obvious he's sounding just about as tone-deaf as Anthony Weiner. It was almost like listening to Weiner make excuses for his conduct. Obama went even further by claiming that they're all made up. It's not as if he admitted to all of them being terrible and that he was personally going to get to the bottom of them. Now he wants to act like they're all fake. For the next week every Democrat spokesperson will repeat over and over the phrase "Phony Scandals".

Instead of making people forget about them it has rejuvenated the criticisms of them.

I think Obama is currently at the stage that Weiner was at before proof surfaced of his involvement. Eventually he will be caught, just like Carlos Danger, and have to face the music. Then he'll act like it's not so bad and hope we all give him another chance.

And PS, I agree with what Spidey said..

  24. Ducky, do you see ANY news that's not far leftwing? Yes, unions are very upset at Obama Care; you haven't heard THAT? And if you don't know what's going on in France by Muslims, you need to start paying some attention.. And the folks regarding the Zimmerman case have every right to be scared. There are threats all over the place to anyone remotely involved with him.
    Wake UP

    ReplyDelete
  25. by the way, it's astonishing how very hard the left's been fighting that Zimmerman rescue situation; CNN was sort of like "Well, THIS probably isn't right...looks like damage control" way before the truth was validated. Unreal.
This is scary times; having leftwingers who are SO ideological that they can't allow the truth to seep in. And you slam Beck and Malkin, etc.? Kind of disingenuous.
