According to CNSNews, jihadist rebels in Syria have beheaded a Catholic priest. Last week, the Vatican said that jihadists attacked a monastery in northern Syria on Sunday, 23 June 2013, claiming that rebels shot and killed Father Francois Murad while he attempted to defend nuns and others sheltered in the monastery.
A subsequent Vatican radio report, however, indicated that the circumstances of the priest’s death was not fully understood, but indicated that the militants are linked to the jihadi group Jabhat al Nusrah. Then on Saturday, Catholic Online pointed to a gruesome video clip that has been posted online, identifying Murat as one of three men decapitated by rebel fighters as barbarian onlookers gleefully chanted—yes, you guessed it, “Allah Akbar.”
I suspect that this information was brought immediately to the attention of President Barack Obama, himself a member of the Moslem Brotherhood and an enthusiastic supporter of Syrian rebels, and that he rubbed his hands together and proclaimed, “I love it when a plan comes together.” He and John McCain may even have clasped their hands together and danced gleefully around the room.

You could do a story like this every week, possibly every day. Islamists are on the offense and are actively engaging in hunting down and murder of Christians or anyone who does not share their radical views. What a shame the leaders of the U.S. can't see it for what it is.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that these incidents happen, although they are reprehensible and speak volumes about the character of Islam. What I think is just as bad is that these events do not get the publicity accorded to atrocities throughout history.

A jealous husband is facing life in prison after chopping off his wife's fingers because she began studying for a degree without his permission.
Rafiqul Islam, 30, blindfolded his wife Hawa Akhter, 21, and taped her mouth, telling her he was going to give her a surprise present.
Instead he made her hold out her hand and cut off all five fingers. One of his relatives then threw Ms Akhter's fingers in the dustbin to ensure doctors could not reattach them.
Mr Islam, who is a migrant worker in the United Arab Emirates, had warned his wife there would 'severe consequences' if she did not give up her studies....

What the Democratic Party has been about for decades is division. There specialty is identity politics. Whatever a special interest group wants, the Democrats promise to deliver.
Can you imagine putting homosexuals and Muslims in the same political party? Yet the Democrats do it and the homosexuals and Muslims go along with it. They hate each other, but both lack scruples. All any Democrat constituency cares about is getting what they want. The lack of good company they take care of with blinders.
