Video: Now Is It Time to Impeach Barack Hussein Obama?

Make of the following what you will (hat tip to Zilla of the Resistance):

Impeachment won't happen, of course. Obama is going to go his merry way and continue to disregard and violate our Constitution.

  1. The last thing the House should be doing right now is impeaching Obama. In the first place, the Senate will never convict him. In the second, our country is facing an economic crisis of epic proportions—and that must be our priority.

Nevertheless, if these people are so concerned about impeachment, why did they allow the election of Barack Obama in the first place? Honestly, it may be true that following 8 years of George Bush, a communist/democrat was destined to win the election. But I seem to recall a massive boycott of the last election by the so-called principled religious right. If this is true, then the people screaming loudest for Obama’s impeachment are the same nitwits who helped elect him.

  2. Thanks to that short bus crew the rethugs are lining up mustang, you get him for four more years.

Did you catch Huckabee the other day? The clip that records him stating we should all have to listen to some mentally challenged evangelical at gun point was quite amusing.

Yes sir, quite a crew you've lined up. Oh, if you've noticed, the economy is strengthening. Just the normal business cycle but the proles don't know that. The Black Bush is going to clean your clock and we thank you reactionaries for another four years of this mediocrity,

  3. I am always amused when someone from the party of Barrack Obama, Joe Biden, AL Gore, Al Sharpton, Dennis Kucinich, Al Franken, Maxine Waters, Roland Burris, Hank Johnson, Rod Blagojevich, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, etc make fun of someone like Sarah Palin.

Your a role model for us all Duck.

As far as impeaching Obama, I'm with Mustang. Not worth the time. Quite frankly if we are talking about impeaching anyone, I would go for Eric Holder.

Since the 2010 election, many on the Right have been harboring impossible hopes. Impeaching Obama and repealing ObamaCare are two of those impossible hopes. I am wondering how many disgruntled conservatives of all stripes will stay home in 2012 if "something isn't done about Obama's agenda." Already I had heard some rumblings that Tea Party candidates elected in 2010 are "not doing enough."

I also have to wonder at what point Congress will rein in Obama and/or members of his administration IF he has violated the Constitution.

Oh, and you are exactly right that the Senate would not convict Obama on an impeachment charge, no matter the details of that charge. Can he do anything he wants and not be held accountable until the ballot box in 2012?

  6. Duck has a point in that the GOP may not have an electable Presidential candidate for 2012.

In some ways, perhaps; in other ways, definitely not.

The recent unemployment figures may be deceptive. Among other things, those figures do not account for the unemployed who have quit looking and are, therefore, no longer officially collecting unemployment compensation. Or so I heard on CBS or NBC.

See THIS; although a bit dated, the principles I mentioned above still apply.

Furthermore, the rise in the cost of oil hasn't yet dealt its coming blow to our fragile economy.

THIS also needs to be taken into consideration if we're going to discuss economic recovery:

...More Americans work for the government than work in construction, farming, fishing, forestry, manufacturing, mining and utilities combined. We have moved decisively from a nation of makers to a nation of takers. Nearly half of the $2.2 trillion cost of state and local governments is the $1 trillion-a-year tab for pay and benefits of state and local employees. Is it any wonder that so many states and cities cannot pay their bills?

Every state in America today except for two—Indiana and Wisconsin—has more government workers on the payroll than people manufacturing industrial goods....

    [...]

This is an almost exact reversal of the situation in 1960, when there were 15 million workers in manufacturing and 8.7 million collecting a paycheck from the government.

  8. Impeachment by the House is remotely conceivable; conviction by the Senate is impossible. Better to work toward dethroning Mr. Obombya in 2012.

  9. The economy of the US is immense and diverse. There is always some good news to be found somewhere in some sector.

However, the growing debt on the State and Federal levels is going to crush any economic recovery.

Unfortunately for the Obama Regime, the real world effects of the debt can not be held off until next November. The effects are already being seen in rising food and gas prices and problems in paying for government employees.

  10. Didnt the Obama team predict last year that it woyuld be the Summer of Recovery?

As for the 8.8% umemployment rate...I call B.S. and I dont mean Bachelor's of Science
