Guest Mark Alexander (author of The Dawning of a New Dark Age: A Collection of Essays on Islam), WC, and I discussed the recent beheading in Moore, Oklahoma:

I found out about the beheading just a few moments before we went on the air.

Mark Alexander is our guest again next week, October 3, 2014.

  1. following up on Mark Alexander's point:

Speaking at Kanal D TV’s Arena program, Turkey's PM Erdo─čan commented on the term “moderate Islam”, often used in the West to describe AKP and said,

"These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”

  2. The concepts of "moderate Islam" and "Islamism" are Western. They are constructs of the Western mind. Muslims do not talk about "moderate Islam" and "Islamism"; rather, they talk only of Islam.

Further, no Muslim would understand the term 'Islam' as meaning "peace". Islam means submission, not peace. Islam is anything but peaceful. Not even a good Muslim would consider Islam to be peaceful. A Muslim must 'struggle' and 'strive' to make Islam the pre-eminent 'religion' in the world. He must fight for its supremacy. The struggle to make it supreme is his Kampf.

    1. Mark,
Thank you for that astute comment. I hope that readers here take note of what you have said.

I am still reeling from the fact that we are now discussing an Islamic beheading in America!

    2. Thank you, Always.

The fact that the killing in Oklahoma on Friday was a beheading is very, very disturbing indeed. That poor lady's family must be devastated. Decapitation is such a gruesome, barbaric, savage way to die.

It is to be hoped that the authorities will clamp down on this NOW, BEFORE this savagery becomes a trend. But I wouldn't bank on it. Apparently, they are already starting to call it 'workplace violence'! How absurd that is.

The police have been looking for a motive for the gruesome beheading. I have been wondering the following...

The beheader had been sacked. Why? Well this is something to think about: Could he have been giving the company trouble because the food processing plant was processing non-halal foods? Maybe his position became untenable because of his unreasonable stance on this matter. After all, it is doubtful that Vaughans Foods would have been processing halal foods.

This would have given this Muslim convert a reason to go berserk, perhaps. You know how Muslims are when it comes to prescriptions, proscriptions, and exhortations of their faith. Further, of course, IS has told Muslims to kill infidels wherever and whenever they can, and in whichever manner they think appropriate.

This is all very worrying. Alas, I think it is just the beginning. As I said on the radio show: The New Dark Age has already dawned. Things can only get worse.

    3. Mark,
I've heard that the beheader was fired for aggressively proselytizing for Islam. I also read something about his advocating the stoning of women -- this advocating at the workplace.

IS has told Muslims to kill infidels wherever and whenever they can, and in whichever manner they think appropriate.

How long before a child is beheaded here in America?

      God help us.

    4. I still think that there could be some connection with non-halal foods as well, even if this has not been mentioned. It's only a guess, of course, on my part.

One can only hope that children will be kept well away from this ugly fight. I could imagine that all hell would break out if children were ever harmed. The frightening thing is this though: No life is sacrosanct to these barbaric jihadists.

Those who would be kind to the cruel are sure to be cruel to the kind."

"Those who expect to reap the blessing of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."

    ~ Thomas Paine (1737-1809)
