Roseanne Barr: "I'm in favor of the return of the guillotine"

More from Roseanne Barr:
"I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded," Barr said with a straight face.
Watch the video HERE.

Over at Infidel Bloggers Alliance, Epaminondas comments:
"It's not 1938, it's 1917."
About 1917, just in case you're unfamiliar with the reference.

(hat tip to Will): "Wall Street protests spread to other cities."

  1. She also would appear to condone "re-education camps". The Left continues to be prove itself a veritable fount of ever new and and completely resistible political ideas...

  2. From the pictures seen so far it would appear that this bunch of unwashed , longhaired punks wouldn't have two cents to rub together if "mommie and daddye weren't footing the bills. The for dang sure don't have jobs so what the hell are the whining about? Guess they are whining because they aren't getting any freebies but 10-1 says that most of them are getting some kind of government money.
Now the union thugista's ,Obama's army that he boasted of forming in 08, has taken to the streets in warm up for election disruptions next year.
Watch and see if it doesn't happen.

    Perhaps they're trustfundistas.

  6. Barr is just another Left-wing kook added to a very long list in Holywood.

I saw some images of the protests, looked like they were trashing the area like a bunch of hippies. I'm betting they don't clean up after themselves.

  7. Here I thought we should just pull them out of their cars and beat them with tire irons.

    Either gets their attention.

  8. Debbie, get ready.

    Middle East

    Europe

... it can happen here. I don't think it's going to happen until the money men get Chris Christie installed and he really slams a plank up the middle class' butt.

  9. Scratch a progressive and just below the surface is a goose-stepping dictatorial statist dying to get out and put everybody else in their place.

    AOW , probably

Debbie no doubt it will cost NY thousands to clean up. Serves Bloomberg right. Hate it for the taxpaying folks however.

  11. I realize that Roseanne Barr is a nut job. However, I think that she's voicing what's in the hearts of Leftists.

  12. Duck,
I see that the prospect of killing the rich really excites you. That's sick.

  13. About Jeff Rae, one of the participants of Occupy Wall Street:

Now, by reading Mr. Rae’s tweets, one could be left with the impression that Mr. Rae is just your average, everyday left-wing ideologue that gets himself arrested “for the cause.” If that is your impression, you are partially correct.

To be sure, Mr. Rae is a left-wing ideologue. However, Mr. Rae does not appear to be just an average left-wing ideologue. In fact, it appears Mr. Rae is a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer, and labor activist. [See Agitpropist.]

In fact, it appears that Mr. Rae is the same Jeffrey Ray who is employed as the Director of New Media by the Transport Workers Union in Washington, DC—the same union that joined the #OccupyWallSt protests last week. And, as a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer and labor activist, Mr. Rae isn’t one of those downtrodden masses for whom the Neo-Communist protests are allegedly meant for since Mr Rae seems to be doing quite well for himself…

His 2010 salary = $118,534! Hardly one of the downtrodden poor, victim of Wall Street's greed!

Also: Mr. Rae has actually seen his income as a professional rabble rouser, agitator, organizer and labor activist increase substantially—from $69,353 in 2008 to $118,534 in 2010.

  14. this source, about the demonstrations:

There are people who have reason to be enraged at Wall Street, but they rarely show up at rallies. They are too busy working a second job in their seventies or sitting outside a factory that was shipped off to China. And the people who do show up at rallies invariably have nothing to do with Wall Street and are financed by billionaires who made their money, directly or indirectly, in the stock market.

    [...]

The belated crusade against Wall Street is even more pathetic as it is coordinated by groups who wouldn't exist without men like Soros, who made their money from deals that make the Street look sparkling clean. It's class warfare as a cynical jab at the populist center, the people who mutter to themselves that the Street is full of crooks and so is Congress.

They're right and the Days of Rage protesters, who usually have a trust fund at their back and a degree in creative arts on their shelf, would never admit it. They're not here to protest against power, but for those in power. Or else why target Wall Street now, long after the bailouts and the fizzing outrage over Corporate Personhood.

The Days of Rage are an Obama election rally, coordinated ahead of time to coincide with Obama's own descent into class warfare....

  15. Yep, 1917, only Rosanne Barr probably has no clue about it.
Interesting that Occupy Wall Street expect reinforcement from professionals. The current protest is put together by Adbusters who simply don't know how to go about throwing a protest. They are hipster anti-Semites with grad school connections.

  16. Roseanne Barr is irrelevant and increasingly so.

Every time her popularity wanes she does or says something to get herself thrust back into the limelight. She's a pathological narcissist, and even worse than that, she's an unsuccessful narcissist.

She seems to have forgotten the old adage, "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

    Roseanne has only one goal:

    To get herself attention.

No need to get all apoplectic over her statements. No one listens to her anyway.

No need to get all apoplectic over her statements. No one listens to her anyway.

    Maybe.

But did you see Duck's comment above? That's how the Left thinks. Barr has let the mask drop.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Those who know what's on the left's agenda aren't fooled by any "mask". We knew it all the time.

Those who don't know don't care, or they would attempt to do something about it.

  19. Why 100 million, why not 1 million, oh yeah, liberals like barr don't want to be caught up in her own fascist stupidity.

  20. Maybe she should be first... just to see if it works ;-)
