See ’25th Amendment NOW’: White House forced to walk back THREE explosive Biden remarks in three days by Melissa Fine of American Wire (March 27, 2022).

Excerpt:
In a time of crisis, you want a leader who is focused, articulate, and free from hyperbole, but when you’ve got Joe Biden, what you need is a team of Damage Control Coordinators, ready at the drop of a gaffe to run interference and spin statements that, left alone, could escalate an already explosive situation.

Such is the unenviable task of White House officials, who have had to repeatedly walk back comments from the president since he departed Wednesday for Europe on what CNN characterized as “one of [the] highest-stakes presidential trips in recent memory.”

Three times already, the Biden administration has had to step forward and explain what Joe Biden really meant, including a red-alarm rush on Saturday to assure the world that the President of the United States didn’t really call for a violent regime change in a nuclear-equipped nation....
Read the rest HERE, which includes video snippets.

What say you?

  1. The Democrat Party perpetrated a fraud on the nation. First, foreign interference in the 2016 election with the "Russia Collusion" hoax with the British produced "dossier" filled with Russian propaganda, and then in 2020 they wheel out Trojan Horse Joe, ran him as a moderate, and when he got in, the leftists took over.

The poor man is frail and suffering failing mental faculties, and we have a giggling dimbulb for a VP. God help us.

  2. Biden tells US troops they’ll be in Ukraine in war gaffe

“You’re going to see when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re gonna see — you’re gonna see women, young people standing in the middle in front of a damned tank just saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground,’” Biden said.

    1. It's classic Silverfiddle to Google an Internet gem to make a deductive conclusion. Your admonishing of the press rings hollow. It was an opinion piece from Dean Obeidallah which clearly stated was an opinion of his own and not of CNN.

Perhaps a broader look at their extensive coverage and interviews would give a different perception?

But in fairness, I have to admit that I wouldn't honor American Wire News with a hit to their site but I'm sure they were all over Lindsey Graham when he suggested taking Putin out.

    2. Ronald,
Point taken. I won't bore us all by speculating contrasting the reaction to Biden to what we think they would have reacted to had Trump done the same thing.

Still, your valid point about it being an opinion article, goes to my larger criticism. We have too much opinion, and not enough news analysis and news from a neutral point of view.

    3. We have too much opinion, and not enough news analysis and news from a neutral point of view.

That's a great assessment not only for it's factual nature, but it also points to the distinct lack of news and analysis from the organizations that are theoretically supposed to exist for that role.

    6. I agree SF, that we have too much opinion in our news outlets but unfortunately, that's the nature of the beast because it pays the bills.

As far as the media's reaction towards politics, and considering your mentioning of Trump coverage, I think CNN deserves credit for their welcoming of both sides of the issue. They always had a welcomed seat for Kayleigh McEnany, Kellyanne Conway, Rudy, and others. And so many times Cumo, Lemon, Anderson, etc. would tell their audience after giving their spill something to the effect of: "and we reached out to (Trump, Huckabee, Flynn or you write in your own) for comment and even a welcome to come on our show to give their side. That invitation is still open".

You don't see that with Hannity or Carson or the other Qaonon abetting staff at Fox.

      Delete
    7. In Fairness Ronald, FOX does have a pretty good stable of lefties on the news shows, as opposed to the opinion shows of Hannity and Carlson.

They even have some hard news people who have stepped up and called out others on the network when they've spouted lies and wrong info or talking points.

      Delete
    8. @ RJW,
You profess to never watch either one. How would you know? As a matter of fact, both quite frequently ask the targets of their ire to either respond or appear on their shows. It seldom happens or not at all -at this point in time-. Hannity would keep asking yes/no questions and usually let them deflect before restating his question as "Yes or no, did you...." and Carlson would just ask a question and stare at them with that dumb look on his face and let them hang themselves before responding with facts. On both shows, your far left friends and opertunistic Democrat, grifters, shills and demegods, would end up looking like the fools they are. The word got out and they quit appearing on either show.
As far as Qaonon goes, as far as I'm concerned, (Oh! Look, a squirrel!) Just another distraction.
In other words, You "don't see" because you won't look. It's called invincible ignorance.

      Delete
    9. Mighty black kettle there Warren. That "invincible ignorance" seems to swing both ways.

I'm not sure where I professed to never watching either but I don't tune into their programs to speak. Being somewhat of a political junkie I suppose, one just can't ignore their prominence and the impact they have on the Basket of Gullibles.

From what I've seen, Hannity has a tendency of talking over and Tucker, well, has ne ever debated anyone other than another Trump cultist?

But I will agree that it's generally not a good idea for politicians of different ideologies to go on such talk shows. I recall Rand Paul taking a big dive and going into damage control when Maddow pulled out of him his belief that Jim Crow laws should be free rights for business-back when being a racist Republican wasn't cool.

I'd say Chris Wallace's assessment of how Fox has veered far from reality in the past few years hits the nail on the head.

But I get it if you "don't see" it.

      Delete
    10. I repeat, How do you know?
Yes or no, do you watch either one?
And I doubt that Maddow "did" any such thing or Paul would have "said" any such thing. Link please?
It would have been more like Paul saying that an employer should be able to hire whomever they wished.

I worked for a small company that had to subcontract to a "minority" owned company whose CEO was just a figurehead for a bunch of white guys that ran a crew of illegals -who stuck on warning decals- to qualify for a small Federal contract. It's all Democrat and Progressive BS all the way up and down the line.
And you always seem to forget that the Jim Crow laws were the products of Democrats. -wonder why that is?-
Or are you upset that Paul might agree with you Democrats?

I'll help you out a little, I just retired into an advisory roll at the age of 70. I'm a working man that has worked as a laborer my entire carrier. Even my supervisory rolls have been as a working foreman/manager with my hands on a dirty hammer or wrench. I think I've told you this before; don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. I'm a Veteran of the US Army. I was at Harry Trueman's Funeral as a supernumerary Honor Guard. I've been on NATO exercises in Europe. I was offered the opportunity to strike for one of the Armies, West Point slots but declined, I was also offered the job of a Generals aid, I declined and took my Honorable Discharge.
I know how to do my research and have written White Papers on several subjects.
I don't believe in group "Rights", only individual Rights. That's because the Constitution says, "The Rights of the "People", as people and not the Rights of the Government or factions or groups. I haven't voted for a single Democrat Presidential candidate since they decided to run the draft dodging whore-monger Bill Clinton. Quite frankly, I can't see any reason that anyone would be proud to claim they are a Democrat.
I don't vote for Republicans because I agree with them on a lot of issues, I vote for them because they are better than the alternative. I'll take a Republican, taking a rake off, before I'll vote for a Democrat who tries to take every dollar I make!
For 22 years, I tried to get help for my severely disabled wife. I couldn't get help because we weren't divorced -unthinkable for both of us- or the right color, and because I was actually working for a living. I worked a full time job, one full time part time job and 2 part time, part time jobs. By the time she died, I'd lost all my savings and retirement funds and almost lost my home.
I am a Libertarian Conservative. That means I don't give a damn what anyone else does as long as they don't infringe on my rights, or anyone else's rights, "as an individual". Taking my money and giving it away to Democrat constituents is not the job of a legitimate government, it's theft!
Oh, did you ever write for one of the Revolutionary Socialist rags or have a subscription? Your comments sure sound like some of their agitprop. You don't use the term Running Dog Capitalist but...

Chris Wallace? LOL. His assessment seems to have landed in a job where he has no title, staff, show and possibly a job in the near future, as his buddy, Mark Zuckerberg, heads for the hills along with some of the perverts that worked for him.

    11. If somewhere you detected a question of your background or work ethics Warren, it was certainly unintended.

In ways, our backgrounds are similar. My wife of 38 years and I at 1 time had 4 children in Pampers, later to have 4 teenage drivers (which at the time I thought I was working solely for Allstate) and later to have 4 in college. With the exception of a program called WIC which the pediatrician pushed for and most everyone qualified, we did it without handouts from other tax payers.

And like most everyone else, the journey saw sickness and health and good times and bad. I've worked either 2 jobs or countless hours on a single job my entire life. I ran my own business for 10 years working 16 hours a day 6 1/2 days a week. And when my wife developed an illness at a time of 4 rebellious teenagers, it was a financial and an emotional nightmare to stop that train and care for my family and like you, I never saw any help from the government with a bankruptcy staring me in the face.

Not meaning to do your "I'll fix it for you" thing but taking my money and giving it away to corporate billionaires to offset their low wage employees is not the job of a legitimate government, it's theft! And, I don't give a damn what anyone else does as long as they don't infringe on my rights, or anyone else's rights, "as an individual" is why I'm a Democrat as I'm not out exploiting for political gain or sowing division of people who live or love differently than I do.

"Draft dodging whore-monger"? Seriously? How about a bone-spur draft dodging, self admitting sexually assaulting vagina grabbing whore-monger?

You say you're knowledgeable with researching which I don't question so I'll pass on linking the Maddow Rand Paul interview (which a quick "Maddow Rand Paul interview" Goggle will easily provide) but this is another area of how the so-called conservatives have changed. A bit short of 12 years ago, Paul let it slip that he believed business owners had the right to deny service to black people and it almost defeated him, even brought demands to him withdrawing. Just last week, Mike Braun let it slip that he thought states should reserve the right to make mixed marriages illegal's and I wouldn't be surprised if he's not raking in campaigns funds for it.

Pretty much a media cabal and Mark Zuckerberg tampered with an election. Unlike the Russian story the Biden laptop was factual. Wallace isnt bothered by the FBI and the CIA entrapments of people based upon lies. Did Wallace say anything a out the Clintons.

The same crew that wouldnt say Muslim terrorist will label unarmed protesters who might have stunk up Pelosis bathroom terrorists. Does Wallace think we forgot Democrats pardoned actual terrorists. Mayorkas is looking for Subversion in DHS. Lets see subversive leggos and breakfast cereals? Was that Grapenuts or Grapeshot.

Do you want to compare the crimes of BLM and the Capital crew. Lets compare the sentences. How many people died?

Lets see Muslim guy travels from the UK to Texas to a Jewish temle but it isn’t antisemitism.

Are we giving professors iobs to the January 6 crew? Lets compare this to Obamas friend Ayers? I think the only time Obama used terrorists was to describe Ted Cruz.

  4. His worst gaffe was when he said, "Russia needs a regime change (paraphrased)." You think this statement as head of state or POTUS, but unless you want WW111, you do not speak it. I believe this war has been calculated and planned by Biden, his crack head son Hunter, and the powers that be in Russia. I cannot prove it, but I would bet that the war in Ukraine was contrived by state level Ukrainians and Biden and his son. They made money off Ukraine, then Biden told Russia our plans, and I believe they knew China would bleed it to Russia. Whatever Biden and the Dems get they deserve. Biden now has an approval rating of 405, surely, they will lose the mid-terms, and let us all pray that we do not end up in WW111 before this fall. It cannot come soon enough.

BTW, it is the American people that voted for Joe Biden's fault. No one can tell me they did not know what they would get. A mess. Obama whom I detest even said, "Leave it to Joe to eff things up (paraphrased)."

My conscience is clear. I am a proud Trumper, and no, he did not do all things right and had a mouth that would never quit, but he sure showed strength and solidarity to foreign countries and kept us out of a recession and high gas prices not to mention the food supply shortage --- and much, much more.

Pathetic state of affairs; we are headed towards WW111 thanks to Biden and Russia and perhaps even Ukraine.

  10. Layla... Here is Biden's actual quote...

"This man cannot remain in power."

The word "regime", present in many comments from news reporters and others, was never uttered. Maybe he said the silent part out loud, but was the substance of the remark, or his speech wrong? He strongly slammed Putin and the territorial designs of Russia.

CI is right to remind of us former President Trump's love letters to a dictator. Where was the outrage from Trump supporters then?

Heck, where was the outrage after Reagan joked on a hot mic when speaking of Russia, "We begin bombing in five minutes." He was cheered. Wasn't that a "You think this statement as head of state or POTUS, but unless you want WW111, you do not speak it" moment?

Look, I get it. Biden was a born gaffe machine. From day one. He's slowed down. He's old. But I bet if you ask the leaders of Europe, most of them are going to be pretty happy with Biden right about now.
