  1. That “American Economy” airline captions is literally history repeating itself when Obama and Democrats took the seat of the Bush and Republican driven bus as it was going off the cliff.

Okay, maybe not. Maybe it was Rs and GWB who inherited a train wrecked economy from Clinton, slowly rebuilt it, only for Obama and Dems to come in in 2008 and crashed and burned it but thankfully, we had Trump and Rs to rebuild Obama’s ruin.

Regardless, here we are today with unseen price gouging and corporate American profits skyrocketing.

But American voters can rest assured and sleep well at night because they know the first thing Republicans and Trump or DeathSantis or Youngkin or whoever will do is focus on lowering the profits of these price gouging donors in order to ease the pain of Americans at the grocery check out and at the pump.

That’s just what they do. Don’t let simple facts like how 192 pro-life republican House legislators just voted against a bill easing the baby formula fool you into thinking they don’t have non-millionaire working family’s back.

    1. I'm with you Ron. It was Neo-Liberal Corporate Capital Uni-Party that crashed us in 2008 as well as today. We keep letting the idiots back into the pilot/co-pilot seats and "laugh" when they point to each other when asked, "Who's responsible?" Neither Party is lying, they're merely telling half-truth's.

    2. ...of course, there's is ONE "whole truth" that they're selling. ....for special customers and a limited time only.

    3. Well, I suppose if a serial lying, pro-sexual assaulting, conspiracy theory advancing, and a Trump toad with a long history of scandal after scandal such as John Solomon says so, well, how can it not be true?

    4. RJW,
To whom are you referring as a Trump toad?

    7. Solidarity forever!

Many of what we call ‘conspiracies’ are the ruling class showing class solidarity... Mark Fisher

    8. "The VC [Vampire's Castle], as dupe-servants of the ruling class, does the opposite: it pays lip service to ‘solidarity’ and ‘collectivity’, while always acting as if the individualist categories imposed by power really hold. Because they are petit-bourgeois to the core, the members of the Vampires’ Castle are intensely competitive, but this is repressed in the passive aggressive manner typical of the bourgeoisie. What holds them together is not solidarity, but mutual fear – the fear that they will be the next one to be outed, exposed, condemned."

    9. The Vampires’ Castle feeds on the energy and anxieties and vulnerabilities of young students, but most of all it lives by converting the suffering of particular groups – the more ‘marginal’ the better – into academic capital. The most lauded figures in the Vampires’ Castle are those who have spotted a new market in suffering – those who can find a group more oppressed and subjugated than any previously exploited will find themselves promoted through the ranks very quickly.

The first law of the Vampires’ Castle is: individualise and privatise everything. While in theory it claims to be in favour of structural critique, in practice it never focuses on anything except individual behaviour. Some of these working class types are not terribly well brought up, and can be very rude at times. Remember: condemning individuals is always more important than paying attention to impersonal structures. The actual ruling class propagates ideologies of individualism, while tending to act as a class. (Many of what we call ‘conspiracies’ are the ruling class showing class solidarity.) The VC, as dupe-servants of the ruling class, does the opposite: it pays lip service to ‘solidarity’ and ‘collectivity’, while always acting as if the individualist categories imposed by power really hold. Because they are petit-bourgeois to the core, the members of the Vampires’ Castle are intensely competitive, but this is repressed in the passive aggressive manner typical of the bourgeoisie. What holds them together is not solidarity, but mutual fear – the fear that they will be the next one to be outed, exposed, condemned.

The second law of the Vampires’ Castle is: make thought and action appear very, very difficult. There must be no lightness, and certainly no humour. Humour isn’t serious, by definition, right? Thought is hard work, for people with posh voices and furrowed brows. Where there is confidence, introduce scepticism. Say: don’t be hasty, we have to think more deeply about this. Remember: having convictions is oppressive, and might lead to gulags.

The third law of the Vampires’ Castle is: propagate as much guilt as you can. The more guilt the better. People must feel bad: it is a sign that they understand the gravity of things. It’s OK to be class-privileged if you feel guilty about privilege and make others in a subordinate class position to you feel guilty too. You do some good works for the poor, too, right?

The fourth law of the Vampires’ Castle is: essentialize. While fluidity of identity, pluarity and multiplicity are always claimed on behalf of the VC members – partly to cover up their own invariably wealthy, privileged or bourgeois-assimilationist background – the enemy is always to be essentialized. Since the desires animating the VC are in large part priests’ desires to excommunicate and condemn, there has to be a strong distinction between Good and Evil, with the latter essentialized. Notice the tactics. X has made a remark/ has behaved in a particular way – these remarks/ this behaviour might be construed as transphobic/ sexist etc. So far, OK. But it’s the next move which is the kicker. X then becomes defined as a transphobe/ sexist etc. Their whole identity becomes defined by one ill-judged remark or behavioural slip. Once the VC has mustered its witch-hunt, the victim (often from a working class background, and not schooled in the passive aggressive etiquette of the bourgeoisie) can reliably be goaded into losing their temper, further securing their position as pariah/ latest to be consumed in feeding frenzy.

The fifth law of the Vampires’ Castle: think like a liberal (because you are one). The VC’s work of constantly stoking up reactive outrage consists of endlessly pointing out the screamingly obvious: capital behaves like capital (it’s not very nice!), repressive state apparatuses are repressive. We must protest!

    11. Is there no cure for Ronald's anterograde amnesia surrounding the Democratic Party? I think not...

    12. FJ, I'm reasonably sure Hillary lost around 5 1/2 years ago so I don't get the relevance.

Additionally, the latest and greatest accusations don't even make the scale compared to bribing foreign adversaries with congressional approved funding for political gain or leading a deadly insurrection mob in order to defy the will of the voters or for that matter, most any scandal of any given day of the Trump shit show.

With today's GOP meltdowns in states such as GA, GOP candidates blurting some really batshit crazy stuff, Jan 6 hearings looking damning, openly voting to make it harder to get baby formula, this isn't exactly a new "look over there" ploy.

And the gullibles swallow it whole.

      Delete
    13. "Deadly insurrectionist mob"? Sounds serious! Were there many zombies amongst them?

The Left is "haunted" by the ghost of Marx and the disappearance of "class struggle" from their political arguments. For how can they complain about "class" when their class-repressed ranks are filled with class "vampires" like George Soros. The only squeeks of 'class" we hear are when Trump or Musk show up.

Why do only 3 corporations make baby formula in the US, Ronnie, and why is 65% of it purchased though government subsidized and Left mandated social-welfare program like WIC?

      Delete
    14. Wanna know who's hiding the baby formula? The "don't make your own baby formula" Left that sucks at the teat of corporate billionaire owners of capital. In the 60's, everyone made their own formula. But that's "too entrepreneurial" a notion for most Leftist consumerists.

  2. My parents first used duct tape in the 1960s to seal up the Christmas ornaments boxes we stored in the attic. The duct tape held up for at least a year. Much better than the masking tape we had used before.

    1. Yes I am also sick of the gender-equity crap being sprewed. Tammy Bruce on Fox who I did not know was a lesbian and who also announced she is no longer Democrat but a republican stated she was sick of the gender garbage. She said that she and other women did not work for 40 years for women to be equal in the workforce, receive equal pay, and be respected as women and a contributing force in society for these leftist nuts to throw it all down the drain saying men can be women, have babies, and abortion (paraphrased). Sickening.

      Watch Tammy slam these idiots!

  4. "the Martian" (dunno if this line made it into the film), in its description of all the custom/modified kit NASA had provided for the mission, has this to say about duct tape: "Also, I have duct tape. Ordinary duct tape, like you buy in a hardware store. Turns out even NASA can’t improve on duct tape."

  5. Not to mention launching rockets that perform about 30% of the mission that were performed by rockets in the 1960's and getting all excited because these rockets are reusable. Big whoop. These rockets don't do big things like we did 60 years ago, but they do little things over and over again.

    1. The problem with spending $30B (not adjusted for inflation!) on Apollo in the '60s is it's bound to steal thunder from any subsequent program that isn't as profligate.

  6. Sure they (NASA) can, but when you're at the duct-tape stage of repairs, outgassing of materials and the subsequent contamination of mirrors and glass surfaces is no longer a consideration.

  12. Are the Progressive Communist Democrats and their Mainstream Media Propagandists preparing to use MONKEYPOX as their Soupe du Jour, to scare the American People into Keeping the Status Que come time of the Election?MONKEYPOX is an uncommon but can be a potentially serious viral illness that typically begins with flu-like illness and swelling of the lymph nodes and progresses to a widespread Rash on the Face and Body.As of now (Today) it is found mostly in 450 cases in Nigeria, Africa and only a handful of cases Internationally. But give the Biden administration enough reason, and millions of doses of vaccines. will be ready for distribution just in time for the on coming election, and for Biden to Save the Day, as this kills up to about 10% of those people who are infected. So take it from me, and stock up on Toilet Paper, and Water, and all the necessary essentials. As of now, The outbreak is quite small –with just 36 cases spread across three countries, including 8 in England and 20 in Portugal. Only one case in the U.S. has been reported. However this will give the idiot left something more to use to insist on more lock downs .And to appear as a HERO when Biden announces that HE has the vaccine for it at record time. So Buckle up and get ready for an encore of Dr. Fauci
