  1. Has anyone here ever read Eric Berne's classic little pop psychology treatise called Games People Play?

It's probably been out of print for at least two decades, but it's still very revealing.

I highly recommend it. I found it a great help in learning what I -- and most people -- keep doing to themselves that stunts mental and spiritual growth while thwarting the fulfillment of human potential.

GAMES PEOPLE PLAY by Eric Berne

I'm sure it's available for your Kindle at Amazon.com, and old paperback copies are always turning up at yard sales, flea markets and second-hand bookstores.

    I highly recommend it.

  2. FT,
My local public library has that book -- and in an audio version, too.

I should have my library copy of Games People Play next week.

I frequently use audiobooks because of all the traffic jams around here. It's much better to listen to a book while sitting in traffic than to listen to some mindless music or talk show on the radio.

  3. Thanks for the links. Well, we made it through another week of total madness. How many more until the moving van comes to the WH?

  4. So how many $billions are the over re-actions of the media intelligensia and public to the events at Boston likely to cost American taxpayers in additional investments in "1st responders"?

Adding to the public debt, and taking away the citizens right to SELF-protection is INSANE.

    *shakes head*

  6. Hey, who needs to be qualified to do anything in the Public Sector anyhow? After all look at what we have in the highest office of the land.

I wonder just how wide spread this $#!t actually is?
