For Mother's Day

With a hat tip to Leticia of My Daily Trek:


I lost my mother, my best friend, in 1987.

Mom, I miss you every day.

For the first time, this year Mr. AOW and I didn't send a Mother's Day card to his mother, who is in end-stage Alzheimer's. Today will likely be her last Mother's Day on this earth. In truth, she left us a long time ago when she no longer recognized any of us.

Cherish your mother while you can. The time is all too short!

    Yes you're right, i was actually born on a Mothersday, don't know if my mom 'aimed' for it.
    So once in a while my birthday fals on Mothersday.
