  2. Pennsylvania Republicans led by State Sen. Mario Scavello have drafted a bill that would send illegal immigrants dumped in the state by the Biden administration to the president’s home state of Delaware using DHS flights.

Republicans in the state have been incensed over Biden busing and flying illegal immigrants into Scranton in the dead of night without permission. And have had more then ENOUGH of this nonsense already!

  3. Given his talent, it seems irreverent for Victor to make fun of the high arts... but as an opera attendee who appreciates the supertitles (being too dumb and uneducated to understand the lyrics in their original languages), I understand the urge to make fun. Sloth.

You know why you laugh at a joke? It's a release of the surplus enjoyment you get from not having to put the intellectual energy into thinking up the joke.

And since we no longer live our lives and are the "hollow men" of eliot's poems, surplus energies are all we have left left.

    1. Keep "clicking" fellow blue-pillers...SPOILER ALERT!

Slavoj Zizek, "A Muddle Instead of a Movie"

Therein resides the true libidinal enigma of this dispositif: why does the Matrix need human energy? The purely energetic solution is, of course, meaningless. The Matrix could have easily found another, more reliable, source of energy which would have not demanded the extremely complex arrangement of virtual reality coordinated for millions of human units. The only consistent answer is that the Matrix feeds on human jouissance, and so we are back at the fundamental Lacanian thesis that the big Other itself, far from being an anonymous machine, needs the constant influx of jouissance. This is how we should turn around the state of things presented by the film: what the film renders as the scene of our awakening into our true situation, is effectively its exact opposite, the very fundamental fantasy that sustains our being.

But how does the Matrix react to the fact that humans produce less energy? Here, a new figure called “Analyst” enters. He discovers that if the Matrix manipulates the fears and desires of humans, they produce more energy that can be sucked by the machines:

“The Analyst is the new Architect, the manager of this new version of the Matrix. But where the Architect sought to control human minds through cold, hard math and facts, the Analyst likes to take a more personal approach, manipulating feelings to create fictions that keep the blue-pills in line. (He observes that humans will ‘believe the craziest shit,’ which really isn’t very far off from the truth if you’ve ever spent any time on Facebook.) The Analyst says that his approach has made humans produce more energy to feed the Machines than ever before, all while keeping them from wanting to escape the simulation.”

With a little bit of irony, we could say that the Analyst corrects the falling rate of profit in the situation of using humans as energy batteries. He realizes that just stealing enjoyment from humans is not productive enough; we (the Matrix) should also manipulate the experience of humans that serve as batteries so that they will experience more enjoyment. The victims themselves have to enjoy: the more humans enjoy, the more surplus-enjoyment can be drawn from them. Lacan’s parallel between surplus-value and surplus-enjoyment is again confirmed here. The problem is just that, though the new regulator of the Matrix is called “Analyst” (with an obvious reference to the psychoanalyst), he doesn’t act as a Freudian analyst, but as a rather primitive utilitarian following the maxim of avoiding pain and fear and getting pleasure. There is no pleasure-in-pain, no “beyond the pleasure principle,” no death drive, in contrast to the first film in which Smith, the agent of the Matrix, gives a different, much more Freudian explanation:

“Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. NO one would accept the program. Entire crops /of the humans serving as batteries/ were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was re-designed to this: the peak of your civilization.”

  9. The F.B.I. assessed that 2019-2020 was the deadliest period for violent domestic extremism since 1995. When our Cities were filled with domestic violence from organized domestic groups linked to the two terrorist organizations Black Lives Matter and Antifa..
The summer of 2020 saw the United States’ biggest protests for racial justice and civil rights in a generation, giving a global profile to the Black Lives Matter movement. The protests were sparked on May 25 by the death of George Floyd.

Did you EVER see ANY of those THOUSANDS of Black Lives Matter movement protesters “arrested”? And if they were, they were immediately Bailed Out by people like the likes of our Darling Vice President Kamala Harris.
But when it came to the people who were arrested for the “Dreaded” January 6th “Incident”, or “Occurrence” those people are STII in Jail, and still haven’t had a trial.
I have no doubt a few hundred Trump voters, supporters will be persecuted under Biden’s Democrat Fascist Regime, or whoever it is that Controls this walking Zombi.

Has anyone mentioned the NEWS story from last night about the Jew-hating Muslim who held 4 hostages in a Texas Synagogue for 11 hours. He wanted his sister, an Al-Qaeda terrorist released from a women's prison.
Just yesterday, in the town of Colleyville, Texas a man who is suspected to be a Pakistani neuroscientist and suspected of having ties to al-Qaida took 4 hostages during services at a Texas Jewish Synagogue where he could be heard ranting and demanding the release of a Pakistaniwomen named Aafia Siddiqui who was convicted of trying to kill U.S. Army officers in Afghanistan.
The 4 hostages were inside the Synagogue, according to Law Enforcement Officials who were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation and who spoke to the Media on the conditions during the stand-off for 11 hours. . The Synagogue’s Rabbi was one of the hostages, . One of the Law officials said the man claimed to be armed.

The hostage-taker was heard demanding the release of Aafia Siddiqui who was in federal prison in Texas.
One of the four hostages held was released during the standoff; three others were rescued when authorities entered the building about 9 p.m., and shot the Hostage taker and Killed him after the 11 hour stand-off, when he said ”I’m the guy with the bomb. If you make a mistake, this is all on you” .He was pretty irritated and the more irritated he got the more, threats he made.

And this is not at all related, BUT, has anyone mentioned the story about
the Asian woman who pushed to her Death by ANOTHER “Deranged” man in New York City’s Subway just yesterday?

    Happy New Year.

Protests and violence are not synonyms nor do protests equate to riots and looting. Conflating lawlessness with protests is a false narrative.

There’s an entirely legitimate reason for the protests.
There’s a problem with policing, which we've seen over and over again. Ahmaud Arbery would have been swept under the rug had it not been for the live video. This is among countless examples of repeated failures to effectively address police brutality and shootings. If the nation’s police departments took it upon themselves to rid themselves of the few bad apples, we wouldn’t have to deal with public hostility toward police in general. No favors are being done to dedicated, competent police officers by making excuses for the few who aren’t.

Contrary to what right wing media outlets want us to believe, violence, riots and looting aren’t being encouraged or promoted by BLM or by Antifa. This is a lie told not to solve a problem, but to turn a problem into a tool for political manipulation.

You also totally omit not only the fact that white supremist groups played a large part in the riots but that the very President of the United States at that time openly instructed during a live debate for them to "stand down but stand by". And this would be the very same president who endorsed violence at protest by referring to the KKK and neo-Nazi instigators as "good people".

    16. The now-infamous Trump Tower presser on the tragic events of Charlottesville.
Here are the actual words of President Trump:

“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

After another question at that press conference, Trump became even more explicit:

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

      Come on man! (LOL)
Just admit your a propaganda spouting "Progressive" and nothing will ever impinge on your little bubble of pseudo-reality. Go ahead, spout your nonsense but remember, if you hear a "dog whistle" it means you're the dog.

I agree completely. There is no reason to put words into Trump's mouth, that he didn't say. What he has actually said, provides fodder enough.

    20. Warren, how many "sides" were there at that white supremist terrorist attack in Charlottesville? How can there be a "side" that includes yet excludes neo-Nazis and white nationalists?

Charlottesville was a continuation and prelude of Trump appealing to his rabid racist base ranging from shithole countries to protecting suburban housewives from the low income black man to Mexican rapists to, well, I'll spare you with the endless list.

I realize you or FA may not see that just as you can't seem to see that your sole selection of Charlottesville wasn't really the argument at all but rather an example of Trump supporting white supremist mobs playing a role in protests and riots. Just as Trump had to tap dance around to give a nod to those "good people", he not only couldn't bring himself to condemn the Proud Boys during a live debate but actually gave them instructions on how to proceed.

"You also don't know anything about "Antifa" or any of the other "black block" groups."

How is it that you have knowledge of what I know or don't know in these areas? By what data do you make that assessment?

I know things you don't because I have research skills secondary sources, and know people who are in, or have been in, positions to know -i.e. Secret Service, DHS and others.-

You can twist in the wind and misquote or reinterpret everything you want to fit your prejudices, but don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining!
You misrepresented what Trump said -probably intentionally- thus you left the world of opinion and entered the world of political agitprop.

If this was an isolated case, I could might see your "misrepresentation" point. The man perfected race baiting and coddling to white supremist his entire term.

And he stood on stage in front of a live audience and when asked to denounce a white supremist group, he instead instructed them as to how to disrupt.

This ignoring or downplaying of Trump's motivation of white supremacy and encouragement of disrupting protests is the Antifa/BLM leg pissing presented by the right.

This is the same clown who  also said banning Felons from voting is "Slavery"But he’s OK with those MILLIONS of  illegals coming across the border and will find some way to vote in the upcoming 2022 election, and then again in 2024.!So let me see if I understand this...There are very strict requirements to provide proof of COVID Vaccination for dining in public ANYWHERE in New York City,. But somehow proving that  your citizenship to vote, is voter “Suppression”?  I just can’t understand how or why someone can demand to see proof of vaccination before you can fly anywhere, or go into a restaurant,  or do whatever, but voting without ANY proof of citizenship is okay! Are you kidding me?Are you not required by law to be a citizen in order to vote? I’ll tell you what Joey, all that I’m  asking for  is an explanation of how and why requiring a voter ID equates to voter Suppression. That's all I’m asking!  But Joey and his ilk thinks that some of his Voters  are too stupid and lazy to get a Free ID,Your bunch of wise ass’s in Congress and the rest of the  Lefties are screaming their bone-heads off about it because “Some” people won’t be able to  get photo-copies of their ID’s....., people have from now until November to get some form of acceptable voter ID  that ought to be more than enough time.   So, why can't they do that?  If there are states that do not provide an acceptable and free voter ID, then I have to ask why the democratic party is so hot about voter suppression but won't demand funding to pay for free ID’s. Why aren't they out everywhere making sure that every citizen that wants to vote can get a voter ID? You guys want a Vaccine ID, right?   You don’t seem to have any trouble asking everyone to get that!   But you don't want everyone to have a voter ID?     Why the hell not?   Let them get an ID otherwise  it’s too damn bad!   But your story about VOTER SUPPRESSION is a load of crap. And even if we do have Voter IDs, these sleazy  roaches will  figure out another way to “RIG” elections.
