This Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for finding love again. At my age! A year ago, who'd have thought that I'd be "starting over" in such a beautiful home in a quiet city in Indiana with my beloved Warren.
What are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving?
I am foremost thankful for the grace of God.
ReplyDeleteThen, for being an American citizen.
Yes, indeed. I often marvel at how good we've got it! Never mind m8y constant critiques.
DeleteDitto Ed.
ReplyDeleteThis is Baysider, not unknown.
Baysider,
DeleteMay today go well with you and your hubby.
ReplyDeleteEd times 3x... and to my retirement community. That come what may regardless of circumstances, myself and my fellow travelers who find themselves here in an independent then continuing care situation will be well taken care of regardless of income by the Masons.
Bunkerville,
DeleteSo glad that you found a good retirement community.
Family and friends, our health and our well-being.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for miracles of modern medicine...our PHS not withstanding.
ReplyDeleteFJ,
DeleteI hear ya! The miracle of modern medicine -- and TMW -- saved me from a horrific kidney malady.
Why I with-hold praise from our Public Health Services...

ReplyDeleteKiki,
DeleteThat video is too cute.
We don't do thanksgiving (a national day of moaning would be more on brand for us), but like Always I moved house recently (nowhere near as far -- i'd have had to move to the highlands to do that!), and it was quite a struggle so I give thanks for getting that over with. Particularly after the last couple of years I give thanks for still having both parents around. I also want to give thanks for that much maligned mixed blessing, the internet. It may be slowly killing us, but I think it deserves some credit too.
ReplyDeleteJez,
DeleteMoving is a nightmare! I had never moved before and made a lot of mistakes that I would never make again.
I am still unpacking! I ran out of time for the sort, toss, save process for my bedroom, with multiple dressers and a walk-in closet. I'm in the process of sort, toss, save right now. So time consuming.
I give thanks for still having both parents around.
Lucky there! I lost Mom in 1987 and Dad in 1998. I must say that I remain thankful that they didn't suffer from dementia. So many of my generation and even younger are dealing with parents who have Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Terrible!
