See #MeToo's Contempt for Due Process: "Presumption of innocence" and "misogyny" have become interchangeable concepts by Arnold Ahlert at the Patriot Post (dated October, 2018).

Conclusion of the essay (emphases mine):
Nonetheless, if the #MeToo movement insists on embracing score-keeping, let’s look at the entire scorecard. Does anyone still remember which side of the ideological divide celebrated the sexual revolution of the ‘60s and the unrestrained hedonism immortalized by the adage “if it feels good do it”? How about the “liberated” woman, part of whose liberation consisted of her being as sexually promiscuous as her male counterparts — and part insisting she was every bit as strong and capable as any man?

How times have “evolved.” “Democrats believe that we women are weak, mewling, helpless creatures who are defined by our interactions with men,” writes Bonnie Ramthun. “If we are touched, insulted, groped, or otherwise not treated as delicate flowers, we’re supposed to react by making our entire lives revolve about that horrible moment that ruined us forever.”

Democrats and the #MeToo movement are far more interested in ruining forever anyone who opposes their agenda....

In my view, regardless of the Kavanaugh vote, in 21st Century America we are seeing a dangerous shift along the lines of the above essay.

And the Left is leading this charge just as the Left led the charge into the Sexual Revolution.

  2. Interesting essay. The 1960's sexual revolution, college kangaroo courts, and today's #MeToo hysteria are all of a piece with one unifying goal: Women on top.

  3. There is a bumper sticker; the owner says it is free to use,
    which reads like this:
"Those who believe in FREEDOM are willing to die to defend it.
Those who believe in Communism/Socialism are willing to murder to start it."

The same goes for destroying someones livelihood.

  4. After going through this political ordeal, which soon became apparent it had little to do with Kavanaugh, gave us the ultimate teachable moment. Guilty until YOU prove your innocent. If you are a man.
I hope America heard where we are going with this.

  5. Christine Ford is a Progressive plant who donates to left-wing causes, attended the anti-Trump March for Science, and previously signed an open letter challenging Trump’s border policy.

Ford is a political activist who has made dozens of donations to left-wing causes. According to OpenSecrets, she has made more than 60 donations to liberal causes, with almost four dozen to the pro-abortion group, Emily’s List, alone. Ford also donated to the DNC, Hillary Clinton (more than 10 times), Bernie Sanders, and the progressive organizing group ActBlue.

Ford likewise attended the anti-Trump March for Science, where she wore a hat knitted like a human brain, but inspired by the feminist “pussy hats” worn at the Women’s Marches. Ford also added her name to an open letter from health professionals who argued the U.S. border policy resulting in temporary separation of some families was harmful to children’s development.
