The Shape of Things To Come?

Not a good sign for the future of an America which is not The Nanny State:

Also see Indoctrination Outrage: California Teacher Uses 'Media Matters' Anti-Fox News Article in 'World History' Class. Excerpt:
Imagine watching Fox News one night and your high school child walks into the room and proceeds to tell you that “Fox News lies!”

That happened to Nick Benson, a Californian who had two students enrolled at Barstow High School in San Bernardino County.

“How do you know that,” Benson said he asked the boy. “My teacher told me,” was his grandson’s response.

Sure enough. His grandson’s “World History” teacher, Jim Duarte, fed a steady dose of radical left wing propaganda to his students, disguised as classroom assignments. It was like students were receiving their news from a slightly more sophisticated source than The Daily Show....
Much more HERE.

Of, course, neither academia nor the mainstream media will mention THIS.

Between our education system and the mainstream media, is it any wonder that more and more young people are Leftists?

  2. They (all of us) will learn the lesson, the easy way or the hard way. There is no free lunch.

This is why I encourage all parents to have these discussions with their kids. The world is trying to indoctrinate them; we've got to inoculate them.

  4. The rights of parents are being usurped by the government every day. I read somewhere about a teacher who told her entire class of second grade students that there "is no Santa Clause". Granted I'm not sure how many second graders still believe in Santa these days, but it's not her place to crush these kids beliefs, that should be between the parents and kids

  5. I am raising future Tea Party Patriots and they watch O'Reilly and Fox News and the Shep Report with me.

They are umm...are very anti-liberal kids. I want them to know the truth and I also want to teach them about how this nation came about and that the freedom we enjoy came at a very high price. Who our forefather's were.

We also study the Bible every night, so they are also being fed the Word of God.

They are able to form their own personal opinions without liberal lies and propaganda.

They know abortion is wrong, and so forth.

  6. I'm shocked the teacher from the video hasn't been tarred and feathered yet!

I truly rue sending my kids to public school; I wish our family had the income to allow for home schooling just to avoid this sort of indoctrination.

  7. More edited Fox News blather for the morons to cream over.

I guess you don't get they are not getting they are not asking of this for free. 'Sense of entitlement' means what is paid for in taxes. And guess what? Every civilized country in the world provides most of what s discussed here.

Too bad there are lemmings out there who will take the Fox News/Corporate viewpoint and allow the ruling class to take existing entitlement away from them.

  8. The Epic Failure of Republican Trickle Down Economics
When President Obama on Tuesday declared that decades of Republican trickle-down economics "never worked," conservatives were predictably apoplectic.
But for all of their protests of "class warfare", "socialism" and worse, Obama was being kind to the Republican ideologues. After all, as the historical record shows, from economic growth and job creation to stock market performance and just about every other indicator of the health of American capitalism, the modern U.S. economy has almost always done better under Democratic presidents. Despite GOP mythology to the contrary, America generally gained more jobs and grew faster when taxes were higher (even much higher) and income inequality lower. And while the U.S. recovery from the Bush recession remains painfully slow, most economists - including the nonpartisan CBO and some of John McCain's own 2008 advisers - believe President Obama saved it from the abyss.

  9. Hi, AOW!

I really think we must abolish the government education system. It really can't be fixed, because it's by it's very nature and purpose a Marxist institution.

Privatize education, and good teachers will have jobs. Only morons like this guy will have to worry. The money that people pay intakes already to this corrupt system can be better used towards that.

  10. Thank God for those ten percent who have common sense!
Damn it, there are only ten percent with common sense!
I am so glad I never went to public school... to think people belive they are entitled to money is sickening. Does anyone think of where the money comes from? (Excluding us of course :p )

Somehow, they believe that the government magically has money to hand out.

The government has no money except that which the government extracts from our pockets via taxes!

  12. Truly frustrating.

How can you liberals fail to grasp that our debt is now unsustainable? Countries are not even loaning most of it to us any more. We are printing money....

How can you not see this is impossible?

I dont care whether you are Democrat or Republicans or Maritian we are headed for a Depression.
