Must-Read Letter: "Islam, liberalism have no place in the West"

(With a hat tip to Isaac Schrödinger of Infidel Bloggers Alliance)

  1. The text of the letter in case you have trouble accessing it:

So ... a Somalian stabs 10 people in St. Cloud, and The Forum runs a bleeding-heart article expressing concerns about Americans targeting Muslims?!

If a country is a dumpster fire, it is a dumpster fire because of the attitudes and beliefs of its people. If you move those people somewhere else, what are they going to do except turn their new country into a dumpster fire?!

These people refuse to assimilate, refuse to adopt American beliefs. Their Sharia Law is in direct opposition to the US Constitution.

North Dakotans (the Americans who built this state) are SCREAMING for Lutheran Social Services to be shut down, only to be told by their supercilious, self-righteous director that we must be 'tolerant'.

These immigrants have robbed our gas stations, harassed our women, and made necessary the policing of once-peaceful public parks. Women wearing Islamic headgear belong in a Discovery Channel documentary about war-torn countries, not North Dakota. The director of Lutheran Social Services needs to be put on trial as a criminal accessory.

Islam has no place in the West ... nor does the liberalism that aids and abets it.

    Moser lives in West Fargo.

    1. Late Breaking News! PBS anchor Gwen Ifill, one of the most prominent African American panelists and moderators in broadcast Ifill, the anchor of PBS’s “Washington Week,” wrote for some of the country’s premier newspapers — including The Washington Post and the New York Times — before transitioning to broadcast journalism. She began her reporting career in the late 1970s, assertively carving a niche for herself as a political journalist at a time when black journalists and black female reporters, in particular, were rare in newsrooms and rarer still on the city hall beat. (Washington Post)

I wish I could claim to be sad, but Ifill was one of THEM. Her physical demise, and the recent metaphorical death of her Gold Dust Twin Broadcast Libitch, Donna Brazille, are so well-timed as to appear to have an almost BIBLICAL significance. Perhaps "THEIR" time has come at last? Hope springs eternal.

At least this counterbalances the truly sad loss of John McLaughlin, the outspoken, sometimes gruff Dean and Grand Daddy of political panel discussion shows (he invented the genre). So Ding Dong! ANOTHER Witch is Dead, and all in the same week! HURRAH!

  3. I'm in hopes that solutions to this sort of problem will begin to materialize in January. In the meantime these barbarians, who are here, should be moved to "Blue" states and quartered in Liberal DemocRAT households!

  7. I oppose any determination always to want to give the Devil his due regarding this election. I'm also against any .determination to remain MODERATE, and PHILOSOPHICAL –– i.e. TEPID.

We KNOW what we need to do, the time for deliberation is over. It is LONG past time we got off our butts and DID what MUST be done to save the nation from utter ruin. Like it or not, we are STILL very much engaged in "a great CIVIL WAR."

I am already sorely disappointed that our new president-elect is showing signs of crumbling on the promises he made, Namely:

    1) Immediately to REPEAL OBAMACARE and REPLACE it with something BETTER,

    2) immediately to begin construction of the WALL along our Southern Border,

    3) Summarily to EXPEL ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who have committed VIOLENT CRIMES,

    4) to KILL the TPPA,

    5) to REPEAL NAFTA,

    6) to CONSTRUCT the KEYSTONE PIPELINE,

    7) to CUT TAXES on BUSINESS and INVESTMENT in half,

    8) to FORBID further MUSLIM IMMIGRATION –– even on a tourist visa –– to OUR shores,

    9) –– well you tell ME what #9 should be. I'm tired, but never forget this:

"EXTREMISM IN DEFENSE OF LIBERTY IS NO VICE."

    "MODERATION IN WAR IS IMBECILITY."

    1. Relax, my friend. President-elect Trump has not even formed his administration yet.

Transitioning away from Obamacare cannot be done in a day. It cannot. I know rightwing mallet-heads will be screaming that Trump didn't "Repeal it!" Please don't join in the idiots's chorus.

ACA must be dealt with carefully--we cannot pull the rug out from tens of millions of people. It must be a very careful transition.

It is also useful to recall Orwell's truism:

“In our age there is no such thing as ‘keeping out of politics.’ All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.”

Those words are true no matter who is in charge. It's a sausage factory, so sit back and relax. We can hope the sausage contains no more flies and fecal matter than 1 in 100 parts per million ;-)

    2. FT and SF,
I haven't yet read Trump's book The Art of the Deal, which I have on back order from Amazon.

But from what I understand of the book, his philosophy is to start from the most extreme position and negotiate from there.

I'm wondering if he's going to apply the book's principles to the campaign promises he made. We will find out next year.

PS: Trump's most recent book is Crippled America. I have the audio version and will make a point of listening to it before Trump takes office.

      Yes.

But we must also remember that for millions of people the annual deductible is almost $7000; the majority of those who have such ACA policies almost might as well not have insurance because they cannot possibly afford to shell out that deductible before any insurance applies.

    4. SF,
Question: How much are the right wingers screaming after what Trump said in this 60 Minutes interview last night? At one point, he said that the Clintons "are nice people."

    5. I'm not paying that much attention, so I don't know. Trump is displaying something people thought he did not have: Manners, civility and magnanimity.

I Know I have use incidiary language to describe us electing him:

He hijacked the GOP's caddy, ejected the fat country clubbers, stacked the care with dynamite, and rammed the DC establishment with it, blowing out every window in the place.

Using rich metaphor is fun, but this is reality. In real life we respect decorum and we interact civilly with those we are dealing with and we avoid giving offense. Saying nice things about your opponents does you no harm; instead, it sets a nice, nonthreatening tone.

      Delete
    6. May I point out that he hasn't even been inaugurated and hasn't ejected any "country clubbers" yet.

      I get that.

It seems that once Trump defeats an opponent, he stops beating up on that opponent -- and moves on.

  8. Classical liberalism (as opposed to the mal-named leftwing progressive modern variety) is the foundation of our Western civilization. What people cannot get through their heads is, letting in illiberal elements is a suicidal stupidity.

Funny to see news this morning about how Germany's cracking down on terrorists as if they're surprised after importing them?
The wall I know about is within Germany, near my stepson's home very near Munich. But that's to grow ghettos and keep people in and out...while Germany continues to pay...and pay...and pay. Those people won't learn the language, they aren't trained, and they make HUGE demands of Muslim preschools, good housing (saying they won't stay in public housing as it's not posh, etc... I know this for a fact)....no meaningful wall, sadly.
The Australia thing is horrid..Obama's last hurrah of bringing people other people find too dangers. Oh, goody for US (not)

    7. Z - Your post reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt's 1919 letter to the President of president of the American Defense Society:

We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people.

  11. The Goopers are demanding that the majority of Americans who did NOT vote for Trump respect the fact that Trump is now the POTUS-elect.

I hear that. And our message to the Goopers is that we will give trump exactly the same level of respect that they gave Mr. Obama. IIRC, less than three months into President Obama's administration, the TeaPublicans were screaming, "I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!"

Also, Mr. Obama won with a popular vote count higher than any other president had received since the election of President Eisenhower. A decisive win; a mandate, even. But the Goopers vowed on the night of President Obama's election to obstruct and sabotage anything the new president proposed in his new administration. And so they did.

More Americans voted for Hillary than voted for Trump. That doesn't change the fact that he won the election, but it should give the Goopers pause. Trump does not have a majority of Americans on his side; he is a minority president, whose first first action as POTUS-elect was to appoint an anti-Semite and White Supremacist as his Chief Strategist.

    2. Funny how every two years after handing President Obama is "overwhelming mandate" votes continued whacking away at Democrat senators and congressmen, until those same voters gave the GOP majorities in both houses.

Those same voters (including millions of Democrats, have now given the presidency to President Donald J. Trump.

So, in summary, what does your rehash of history have to do with Donald Trump becoming the 45th President of the United States, with a GOP House and Senate, and an unprecedented number of states controlled the Republicans?

  12. Lutheran Social Services is doing this for one reason:

    $$$$

This is a definite money-making endeavor.

Didn't Jesus make a whip and remove the money changers from the Temple?

Money is changing hands. Forget "Christian charity". The bottom line is that the Lutheran Social Services are engaged in profiteering, perhaps at the expense of understanding the very real persecution against the Christian community in Muslim majority nations.
