Who is the real hero?
Ahmed Mohamed has been invited to the White House for October 19, an astronomy night the White House is hosting for top scientists.
No word yet on a White House invitation for Army veteran Chris Mintz.

Only leftwing Obamalalaland hopium smokers could think this enfant provocateur actually accomplished something:
ReplyDelete"Hey man, look! He took the guts out of a clock's packaging and threw them in a suitcase. Wow!"
That Professor O'Bungle is impressed with this says much about his supposed intelligence.
Yeah, I never got that either.
Delete"Hey look everybody! I broke a bundle of electronical pieces out of it's convenient, ergonomic commercial packaging and stuffed into an ugly case where it could electrocute you if you touch it wrong."
Maybe Obama will put it on his nightstand.
I don't get it...
Jack,
DeleteMaybe Obama will put it on his nightstand.
We can only hope!
Don,
Delete"Hey man, look! He took the guts out of a clock's packaging and threw them in a suitcase. Wow!"
Must promote self-esteem, you know. **snerk**
“Clock boy” Ahmed Mohamed made it to Mecca Friday for umrah, the Arabic word for pilgrimage, the portion of his Middle Eastern tour sponsored by the Saudi government. The trip also included the 14-year-old’s parents and other relatives, including one uncle who pushed the Islamophobia narrative.

Bunkerville,
DeleteWas the family also received by the House of Saud Royal Family?
Bunkerville,
DeleteDa‘wah, of course.
Why THAT came from Duke Ellington, AOW. Remember?
DeleteIt don't mean a thing
If it ain't got that zing
Do wah! Do wah! Do wah! Do wah!

Well, "Professor O'Bungle", serving not one but two terms as President says much about the collective intelligence [sic] of America today!
ReplyDeleteYou are exactly right, JB.
DeleteHi, Sam! Hope you're doing well.
DeleteJB...too true. And so sad. Some say that kid might very well have purchased that clock on ebay; it's all there, remember the links to it? I wonder if Obama'll weasel out of it now. Naaa....he likes the narrative; doesn't have to be factual with this guy.
Jon,
DeleteThe phrase collective intelligence is an oxymoron.
So much for the much-promoted critical thinking skills.
Sam,
DeleteSome say that kid might very well have purchased that clock on ebay
Or at a flea market or yard sale.
Sheesh.
Bunkerville,
ReplyDeleteAnd the rest of us are working and paying taxes today....
Meanwhile, the ever benevolent Saudi's beheaded 28 security guards for the stampede at Hajj.
Prior to that, a Saudi prince was performing his non-stop rape-fest in Beverly Hills. Our Department of State let him fly home.
Nitwits are invited to the WH. Ahmed, is just the latest on display.
Not to worry. This was only a test. We now return you to your programming. Meanwhile the world laughs at us.
DeleteBunkerville,
DeleteYes, this is a test. Thanks to Obama et al, America has failed the test.
Prince,
DeleteMeanwhile, the ever benevolent Saudi's beheaded 28 security guards for the stampede at Hajj.
I saw the video.
Whatever happened to attributing the deaths to the will of Allah?
This is the way it's been the entire time this public enemy #1 has been in the white house. Yea, I think if this POS had a son, it Would have been Trayvon the junior gangster. obama hates everything to do with the America we grew up with.
ReplyDeleteAnd yea, the idiots that elected him the 2nd time for sure are the bigger problem.
Kid,
Deleteobama hates everything to do with the America we grew up with.
Yes. He's a Zinn-ite.
HERE'S ONE FOR YA:
ReplyDeleteClock Boy is on the Texan of the Year List (Dallas Morning News).
REMEMBER the ALAMO!
DeleteIn the long run none of this matters, because sooner or later we will ALL have to meet the same fate. Edgar Allan Poe evokes a morbid view of death in his own inimitable fashion.
ReplyDeleteThe Conqueror Worm (1843)
Lo! 'tis a gala night
__ Within the lonesome latter years!
An angel throng, bewinged, bedight
__ In veils, and drowned in tears,
Sit in a theatre, to see
__ A play of hopes and fears,
While the orchestra breathes fitfully
__ The music of the spheres.
Mimes, in the form of God on high,
__ Mutter and mumble low,
And hither and thither fly ––
__ Mere puppets they, who come and go
At bidding of vast formless things
__ That shift the scenery to and fro,
Flapping from out their Condor wings
__ Invisible Woe!
That motley drama –– oh, be sure
__ It shall not be forgot!
With its Phantom chased for evermore,
__ By a crowd that seize it not,
Through a circle that ever returneth in
__ To the self-same spot,
And much of Madness, and more of Sin,
__ And Horror the soul of the plot.
But see, amid the mimic rout
__ A crawling shape intrude!
A blood-red thing that writhes from out
__ The scenic solitude!
It writhes! –– it writhes! –– with mortal pangs
__ The mimes become its food,
And seraphs sob at vermin fangs
__ In human gore imbued.
Out- out are the lights –– out all!
__ And, over each quivering form,
The curtain, a funeral pall,
__ Comes down with the rush of a storm,
While the angels, all pallid and wan,
__ Uprising, unveiling, affirm
That the play is the tragedy, "Man,"
__ And its hero the Conqueror Worm.
~ Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849)
What may or may not await us Beyond the Grave we cannot know till we get there. Trusting in redeeming power of true devotion to Jesus Christ certainly makes the Waiting Period more bearable. However, it looks as though poor Mr. Poe, –– brilliant creative genius though he was ––, did not have faith in the power of Good and Ultimate Benevolence, and so his life was brief, hampered by addiction, and fraught with tragedy.
FT,
DeleteIn the meantime, combat evil wherever we find it.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ..." -- Ephesians 6:10-18 ESV

DeleteIn the long run none of this matters, because sooner or later we will ALL have to meet the same fate.
I cannot agree with the first clause. Our generation has a responsibility to fulfill with regard to the present generations.
