Methinks the Huff Po article was written by an emerging "former" liberal. When someone on the left begins to seriously question the double standards, media bias, etc. they inevitably leave the fold of the left because such unanswered questions work as splinters in the mind. When the author arrives at the truth of the matter he will break ideologically from those he once saw eye to eye with. The speed of his conversion will accelerate when his former comrades turn on him for daring to even ask the questions.
My Democrat family members don't understand the changes in the Democratic Party either. No amount of facts submitted by me will persuade them out of their delusions about the Party. **sigh**

Both are Democrats, but why so different?

ReplyDeleteAs for JFK, well, he was a Democrat of a different era.
FDR, by the way, was totally opposed to the unionizing of public employees.
Do you think that the readers at the Huffy Post will finally wake up and realize that they suffer from liberal bias syndrome?
ReplyDeleteI don't.
That cartoon is so right, unfortunately for us poor taxpayers.

Nope. Not overall, anyway. Maybe a few might -- but that's a long shot, IMO.
