I am encourage on all fronts. Loudmouth liberalism has had its way since the 60's, and the vast middle who disagreed with them were cowed into silence. Not anymore.

ReplyDeleteIt is galling enough that so many judges look to European courts for guidance, especially since such socialist countries are quickly becoming Islamified.

ReplyDeleteThe lies they will use to promote sharia is astounding. Ellison was sworn in on the Koran owned by Thomas Jefferson. They tried to paint it as "See, Jefferson was open-minded and tolerant about Islam. We should be too." Jefferson wanted to read the Koran so he could understand the mentality of the Barbary pirates, "Know your enemy before you send in the Marines" is a more accurate synopsis of Jefferson's thinking.

It is true that in 1805 President Jefferson hosted a late night dinner with a visiting Muslim official from Tunis, a dinner that came at the end of Ramadan. But there is simply no historical evidence that Jefferson imagined himself holding an Iftar dinner or that the visiting Muslim official even told Jefferson what an Iftar dinner was. Spin, spin, spin....
Then Ambassadors Jefferson and Adams met in 1786 with Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the “Dey of Algiers” Jefferson asked him why Muslims had so much hostility to the United States, a country with which they had very little contact. The Dey of Algiers replied,
“Islam was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Qur’an, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Muslim who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
Little has changed in Muslim thinking since 1786, hasn't it? So when it comes to the current administration and people like Mr. Ellison you get four choices:
1) They know the truth, but are quite willing to lie because they support the spread of sharia.
2) They are totally inept and really don't have a clue what is going on.
3) They believe that by parsing and spinning the truth, some how, some way they will tame the beast and coax Muslims into liking us.
4) All of above.
I go for #4. In my mind it is the only thing that explains our schizophrenic, disjointed and inconsistent foreign policy towards Islam and the Middle East at large and the refusal to call Islamic terrorism, Islamic terrorism.

Equally bewildering is the progressive left which is pushing for same sex marriages. Those of you in this category need to grasp something. In Muslim cultures there are no homosexuals...because the take dont ask dont tell to a new level....if you tell you are dead.
The left prides itself on multiculturalism and a false belief they know the world. Islamic faith is not like Christianty. You cant put Islamic faith on a shelf and take it down on weekends for an hour.
Islamic faith is the culture. It telles people how to live every facet of their lives.

Blogginator - "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is very apropos in this situation. Most leftists don't seem to think beyond the "revolution" stage. I really believe they don't understand that the Jihadis will behead or bomb them just as readily as anyone else that's an infidel. They probably think they can reform or defuse Jihadi murder lust when it comes to them.
