"It is also true that the President is constantly stymied by a hostile, Republican-ruled Congress". Last I heard, the GOP didn't get the House until January. Good news otherwise, maybe the Americans can wake up soon.
Read that article this morning. A cynic might think that Boy Blunder's dithering on Libya was due to Gadaffi's ties to Obama's pal Jeremiah Wright:
As pressure mounts on the White House to intervene to stop Moammar Gadhafi's bloody crackdown in Libya, many commentators have been wondering why Barack Obama has been cautious in his criticism of the dictator after the U.S. president so fervently supported the removal from office of U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak of Egypt.
But Gadhafi has been tied to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's spiritual adviser for more than 23 years.
The Libyan dictator also has financed and strongly supported the Nation of Islam and its leader, Louis Farrakhan. Obama has ties to Farrakhan and his controversial group.

They say that one of the signs of a good manager is his/her ability to delegate. Jimmy Carter was a notoriously bad delegator. The Obamster has gone to the opposite extreme. Since he took office, he has delegated everything except his perks. For the first two years, Reid and Pelosi were in charge. Now those in charge are the EPA Director, the Attorney General, the heads of the FCC and the FDA, etc. Obama is President in name only.
I hope the Brits who read that column also read many of the comments left by U.S. citizens. It doesn't hurt to remind our British friends that we tried to warn them what an empty suit Obama was and how that could have a very negative impact on world affairs.
And it's funny to see Europeans who constanly complained about strong U.S. leadership under Bush realize that weak leader under Obama IS MUCH WORSE!
P.S. Bob Mack: Glenn Beck also traced ties between Libya and Dem Moneyman George Soros.
But even if we can't find the smoking gun linking Obama to Khaddafi, there is one simple rule to explain Obama's behavior in states like Libya and Iran: If the state is a friend of the U.S. expect Obama to dump all over them. If they are an enemy of the U.S. he feels we have no business getting involved.
AOW, glad to see you are still on the job! Awesome to see folks getting the real truth out.
I think Obama is brewing his own stew. Hillary appears to be ready to resign and I would bet she'll be throwing her hat in the ring! Japan is in dire straights, Khadaffi is killing Libyan civilians and you can't keep the Poser n Chief off the golf course or in the country. Heck of a time to be taking the family on yet another tax payer funded vacation to Rio, eh???? What a loser!
Sometimes I wonder exactly why I slog on. But I DO slog on!
I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary resigned in the next few months. If Obama continues to alienate those within his own Party, Hillary just might be drafted to run.
Yeah my favorite Democratic actually said it wasnt Obama's fault they did not have a budget during the 1st two years because Pelosi would not get around to submtting one....

Bunkerville,
ReplyDeleteThe blame game.
But the facts show that BHO hasn't delivered on all that promised hope and change -- and is disengaged.
Basketball picks, for pity's sake!

I like where the writer said our guess was as good as his, or something close to that.
ReplyDeleteObama has done nothing but tear down and destroy. We all know pretty much what that entails.
In a nutshell, the man is incompetent and incapable of making the tough decisions. Instead he goes and hides on a golf course.

ReplyDeleteHillary for 2012, first and forgive me for sounding shallow but voters rightly respond to the appearance of health.
ReplyDeleteSecondly she has taken the lead in the one area where Obama could have outshined any opposing candidate from the Republicans.
Thirdly, her husband presided over a time when the economy was good because of Reagan and many thought she was at least partially in charge.
Agreed with Catherine Barry, she would have to resign within the next 10 months.
Here is the problem, Obama has better allies. As was mentioned in this thread his allies are global and loaded with cash and influence.
So what is the meaning of her cackle????????
