AOW... thanks for the honesty. I get what Trump is trying to do. He's looking at years and years of failures bu Admins from both parties. And he's a guy who wants to put a good spin/face on things. I don't begrudge any of that. N Korea is a good example... no one else has solved the riddle, so why can't a President trump try something different? The left is mad his approach is not working, but for 50 years nothing has worked, so why not give the guy some latitude to try another approach.

And certainly, we don't invite them to Camp David, ala Pres Carter with Begin and Sadat, on the anniversary of 9/11. But Trump was looking for optics... I think.
He needs to be willing, IMO, to listen just a little bit to his experts on some of this. This could've been totally avoided if he had.
