Meh! Too many worthless pop Icons in the first video. I've been militantly anti-Pop since 1055 –– the year Elvis made his first nationwide appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
I was only 14, but knew then and there that The Enemy Had Landed and BOY was I ever right!
The Advent of Elvis was the beginning of The Great Unravelling. The SICK-sties followed, and for the most part we've been slaloming downhill careening towards the Flaming Pits ever since –– Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump and the Congressional Freedom Caucus notwithstanding.
I haven't had time to look at the second yet. Maybe later.

Did you watch Ken Burns' Country Music ?
DeleteNope!
DeleteDuck,
DeleteI recorded it, but haven't yet had time to watch it. Truth be told, I'm interested in only the first few hours.
The above said, I fully understand Franco's position on music. I don't fully subscribe to that position. But, hey, friends can have differences.
