Hating America

Worth your time:

The true face of the Left.  Hideous, huh?

Related reading #1: From Uncivil Discourse to Civil War?: Historic socialist assaults on Liberty were not as organized and targeted, nor did they have the tacit approval of a major political party by Mark Alexander of the Patriot Post.

    Apparently he was right ...

  2. I love it when Democrat Socialists like Cuomo slip up and tell us what they really think.

    1. Cuomo the neocon a democratic socialist?

You need to get out of Colorado more often.

    2. @TC ...Government, by its very definition, is coercion.

    3. George Will is suffering Trump-induced dyspepsia. Anyway, he's a Democrat now, so he should be embracing socialism as well.

    4. I think the larger point is that it only took 30 years to go from killing Michael Dukakis' presidential ambitions by calling him a liberal to everybody wanting to be a socialist.

Why has this devolution occurred so rapidly?

    6. Why has this devolution occurred so rapidly?

Mostly trying to color-by-numbers with a paintroller. Even Hillary Clinton in 2008 posed herself as "more conservative" than Obama. Words have no meaning when even a lifelong backer of left-wing Democrats like Donald Trump is a "conservative."

Long story short, actual conservatives have been silenced by mobs of people who are against much but for nothing. "Set your principles aside and vote for McCain / Romney / Trump anyway."

The next iteration won't even know what a pronciple is, much less have one to set aside.

    7. George Will--a sufferer of Trump Unhinged Redardation Derangement--is urging everyone to vote Democrat and throw out all Republicans.

    8. George Will's mistake is in assuming the 5 different factions in the GOP are 4 united against 1. Ideologically, they probably should be, but the overlaps between all five are just enough to maybe hold together the Republican Party post-Trump.

Trump having no Republican conservative and libertarian opposition in Congress would merely fulfill the task Hillary Clinton handpicked him to do.

    9. I doubt Hillary would appoint two conservatives to the Supreme Court.

    10. and the NY Times MSNBC crowd is in full screaming panic over how many constitutionalists he's put on the federal bench.

He may not be a conservative, but he is doing some very conservative things, which is the opposite of what Republicans normally do
Run as a conservative, govern as a moderate

    11. SF,

      Yep!

IMO, Trump is a pragmatist -- not an ideologue. A pragmatist is what we need right now after 8 years of Obama.

      I don't doubt, I KNOW!

    13. Trump would have no problem nominating left-wing judges (like his sister) if he had a majority in Congress with his ideology to work with. That is why George Will's advice to vote Republicans out is so much "give Trump what he wants."

  3. I just spent 5 hours at the DMV waiting/trying to change my out of state drivers license. Next step the car which is even worse.
I suggest all these kiddies go through this process a couple of times and perhaps they will come to hate the government . A good lesson in inefficiency. This will be their life if their goal is achieved.

    1. I had to renew my license and decided to get a "true ID". I was diligent about having my documentation.

Waited about 15 minutes and the process took another 10.
      Pretty effortless.

    2. I certainly was diligent and had the required documentation. But of course I would think it was a breeze for you.
I might add when I moved to Florida a few years ago it was a one stop shop. I just checked my voter registration as I had added it which was a hassle. No luck.. registered location in error. Figures.

    3. As an American born here, as were generations of my family before me, I resent having to jump through “true ID” hoops. More damn red tape for me to contend with!

    1. That's true. They are largely an embarrassment but equally disturbing is the shallowness of my right wing brethren who look foolish with their self congratulatory smirks thinking they've exposed the Soros funded left.

Tucker Carlson? Really. that's your best game?
No wonder the national conversation is such an unsatisfying thin gruel.

    2. Can't really respond to Carlson anymore than I could Maddow. Pied Piper-ing sock puppets are of little use to me.

There is no national conversation....only dueling tantrums.
