War heroes Hillary and Brian Williams, taking out those Serbian machine gun nests...
It's Hillary-ous watching the indoctrinated Hilloonies defend this lying, scandal-riddled corrupt old pol. Even funnier watching someone who calls himself "progressive" support a corporate-sponsored Wall Street Warmonger.
The Obama administration has done nothing more than try to maintain a long time status quo in the Middle East. The situation precedes them and they have blundered just as others before them blundered.
Can you blame them for Libya, yes. And she was at her hawkish best. ISIS, no. Can you blame them for the vile war in Yemen? They aren't the first to make a bigs arms sale to the Saudis.
But all you have to do is listen to Donald "I'd bomb the crap out of them" Trump to realize there isn't an alternative. In fact the video mocks Clinton for implying that tonnage may not be the solution.
SF, IMO, it is beyond stupid for policy makers to tie themselves into knots in an attempt to empathize with the enemy while one is at war with the enemy.
Tipping over Egypt did not "maintain a long time status quo."
Thankfully, the Egyptians woke up and ignored Professor O'Bungle and Warlord Hillary.
They share the blame with previous administrations for Yemen, but the cherry on top is Obomber and Hellary crowing about how it was their greatest foreign policy success... right before it blew up in their faces.
AOW: Agreed. Hillary's track record, like Obama's, reveals that she (and he) is no smarter than the average American.
Talk about "empathizing with and "showing respect to" enemies shows what a fool she is.
That was a classic progressive lecture, throwing in a weighty buzzphrase like "Smart Power" to add some gravitas to her inexperience and intellectual weighlessness.
Reminds me of that crap about Obamacare "Bending the cost curve." How'd that work out? Looks like the Cost Curve snapped back and whiplashed beleaguered Americans.
The apotheosis of the fake progressive "expert" is the Hollywood celebutard donning a pair of serious-looking eyeglasses to give their latest dimwitted lecture an air of authority.
Give me a freeken break, everybody knows that If people take every Tax break that is legally possible and available. If anyone has a problem with Mr. Trump not LEGALLY paying taxes, then put the blame where it belongs, on our tax code. There isn't one person who is reading this and who works that doesn't take every deduction they are entitled to. And, since he's a Republican, you can rest assured that the IRS would have gone after him if those deductions didn't follow the tax code. The media and democrats are running scared.
1. The guy is such a shmuck that he lost a bundle on his casino investments in the 90's when East coast casino business had not yet over extended and was very profitable.
2. He took advantage of accelerated depreciation loopholes even though his real estate portfolio was increasing in value. In other words, sham paper losses.
Hillary's off-the-chain rant was typical Clinton. She has no way of knowing how he incurred the loss, or how that impacted his taxes in subsequent years, so she just made a bunch of crap up and croaked it out.
It was brilliant political rhetoric: Fact-free emotional appeal designed to inflame the sweaty, hooting leftwing hordes.
Ducky, can you provide us any proof to back up Hillary's claim that Trump "Paid no taxes for years?"
Donald Trump took a loss and apparently spread it over many years, as the tax code allows. Have the Clintons or Obamas voluntarily paid more taxes than they owed?
Didn't the Clintons claim a tax write-off for donating their used underwear?
Of course, the Clinton Foundation has never worried about losing money. They vacuum up money worldwide in exchange for US uranium rights, etc, and only disburse 10% of what they take in. All those private jets, exclusive resorts and sumptuous banquets are not free.
This is also interesting. Hillary did a little write-down herself...
Comedians tend to poke more fun at Donald Trump than they do Hillary Clinton, Jeff Dunham has an explanation for this – and it may not be the reason you think.
Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Walter, Peanut and Bubba J explain in the hilarious video below that Hillary is off limits because they don’t want to end up dead.
Does Hillary lie, or at best, shade or obscure the truth? Yes, without a doubt.
Does trump lie, or at best, shade or obscure the truth? Yes, without a doubt.
What I don't understand is why people mad a HRC for lying, thinking it belies a horrible character, can then support Trump.
Is it that people don't like the lies of HRC, but are okay with his?
Is it the lawyerly way she parses explanations, as opposed to just outright denying she ever said any such thing, ala Trump?
It seems as if people who see lying as a character fault, and do not believe we should be electing a liar to the presidency, are choosing to look the other way for Trump.
Is it expedience? Or are people just choosing to be inconsistent? Or, are there different levels of lying?
What you've done, is to illustrate why none of this matters. It's all political theater. Principles and values are expendable once the argument includes the political opposition.
Hillary has a path of international destruction behind her, and the Justice Department/FBI sham "investigation" should make every American sick. The Clintons corrupt and pervert everything they touch. Time for them to crawl in a hole along with all the malevolent actors from the Bush admin. I never want to see or hear from any of them again. They wrecked everything.
No Unknown, What DM has illustrated (once again) is that he is a pinhead.
And yes DM, there are definite levels of lying. Maybe you need a lesson in semantics. The commandment is, Thou shall not bear false witness. That is to say false testimony (perjury).
The ancient Hebrews understood that prohibition as: You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit. ~Exodus 23:1-2~
Warren, I don't know if Dave falls into that category, but Hillary's Bimbo Eruption Panzer Korps has waged a decades-old war on the women Bill has used and abused.
That probably falls in the category of bearing false witness...
Silverfiddle, I don't know that DM falls in there either but it has been my observation that people who reach for moral equivalence share in the vices they try to equivalise.
Here are a few more for him: ~Proverbs 6:16-19~ (NIV)
16 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
I'd say the Clintons meet at least 6 of the 7 and possibly the 7th if you count the bombing of the aspirin factory in Sudan. Especially if you consider that it came three days after Bill's appearance before a federal grand jury investigating his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. (The haughty eyes would probably translate better as arrogant eyes.)
I dislike people that dabble in moral equivalency. Its either a sign of degeneracy or wilful ignorance.
As for, "Is not Trump also guilty of much of the same?". Is he guilty of lying under oath (perjury) or the wilful destruction of peoples lives and livelihoods to further his career? has his naked ambition caused the deaths of people or put them in jeopardy?
Examples?
Tomorrow I will have a post up with many examples of Hillarys crap, you might want to read it.
"Warren... let's say I agree with you 100% on your examples regarding HRC."
Do you are are you parsing? Is that a statement meant to give the impression you agree with my examples or merely weasel words written in the belief they would garner my favor.
As for the insult, this is the Internet. Grow up and quit whining.

ReplyDeleteWhat were the lies?

I don't think much of what she said in that edited clip was controversial.

DeleteSF,
DeleteWarren rocks!
He is the blog designer here and also the creator of my avatar.
Warren and his wife Jackie (deceased July 21, 2016 -- May she rest in peace!) are our two best friends in the world.
That friendship is the best thing I ever gleaned from the web.
I can't do this in public! It will ruin my image ;^) but here goes.
DeleteI have many acquaintances and a few friends. My test for a friend is someone that would have my back when TSHTF You and Mr AOW are the best!

Such as the mortgage deduction -- as just one example. I have never been able to take that deduction because I've never had mortgage.
And there's this, too:
Clinton Campaign Admits Hillary Used Same Tax Avoidance "Scheme" As Trump!
It's more interesting that over a considerable period the "great businessman" has netted zero.
