I had a few of those toys... the Roy Rogers getup and the toy town. What I find somewhat interesting today are the prices... some of them appear ridiculous in light of what they were.
When I was a brat, the J.L. Hudson downtown Detroit had a 12th floor devoted to toys at Christmas. Always a treat to be taken there. My brother just found a 60's Crosman pearl handled pellet pistol in the basement he was remodeling for a friend. The friend gave it to him and he's giving it to me. In the original box! Christmas!
