WaPo and the NYT. I subscribe to both and see the comments in addition to the articles.
Thank you for your kind words @The19StrongShow! You are amazing. Sadly, nothing is off limits for some. @StJude is the best pediatric cancer research hospital in the world and a true national treasure - we will win this fight! #HatersGonnaHate 🇺🇸🇺🇸 https://t.co/DDxJD8BL6H— Eric Trump (@EricTrump) July 8, 2018

Surely, the tone of American politics has been this vile before, hasn't it? But I myself have never seen the chasm so deep and wide.
Meh. Locker room talk.
ReplyDeleteTalk about unhinged. The progs are becoming more and more unhinged. They will never accept Trump's Supreme pick. This is not going to end well. We are observing a group psychosis only seen in cults.
ReplyDeleteTrump could choose HILLAHOG and the DIrtocrats STILL wouldn't accept his choice. They wouldn't accept Trump's choice, even if Trump chose OBAMA.

ReplyDelete"Eric Trump is slamming a Forbes report that alleges his charity, the Eric Trump Foundation, has been funneling donations -- from donors who believed the money was going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital -- to the Trump Organization by paying high sums for use of Trump properties during fundraisers and redonating some funds to charities friendly with Trump interests."
Could Fredo have been a naughty boy? We may never know but off the line I'd trust Forbes.
Duck,
DeleteIt seems we have a case of ABC News vs. the New York Times:
Hospital Confirms Eric Trump Helped Raise $16.3 Million for It
Jan. 6, 2017
WASHINGTON — Eric Trump has helped raise $16.3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of Tennessee over the past decade, a hospital official said in a letter sent to a charity run by Mr. Trump, the president-elect’s son. The letter comes as Mr. Trump is preparing to remove his name from the charity to avoid conflicts of interest that could emerge from future fund-raising.
The letter confirms an account Mr. Trump gave to reporters that his organization has raised more than $15 million for the hospital, despite available tax records showing that the Eric Trump Foundation raised less than half that amount....
A case of which Fake News site is faker?
Besides, since I can remember, many donations to charity are cases of one hand washes the other.
In any case, what Eric Trump did or did not do, the point of this blog post is Anti-Trump Derangement Syndrome -- not the merits of Eric Trump. The aunt of the boy mentioned was shocked by many of the reactions to her Tweet.
The original report is in Forbes, hardly a democratic organ.
DeleteAs for the Gateway Pundit article:
1. Nothing close to a mainstream conservative outlet has picked it up.
2. No documentation of the abuse is offered in the article's text.
3. The video is not available.
I'll take Forbes as a more complete and reliable source over a hospital official who needs to keep the peace with Trump.
Duck,
DeleteSuit yourself.
No documentation of the abuse is offered in the article's text.
Apparently, there was a dust up at Twitter.
Forbes went LEFT a long time ago. It's been evident un their edirotial policy for several years. The same thing has been happenung to FOX News. Once the Old Men bow and out and start to cede control ro the the Ivy League - or London School of Economics- indcrinated kiddies take over, it's CURTAINS for Conservatism!
DeleteIt's a shame but everybody seems to have to learn the hard way that the many-headed hydra of Marxism Stinks out Loud. There never has been and there never will be a FREE LUNCH for anybody.
Franco,
DeleteThank you for weighing in about the Enemedia.
Do I understand that the problem is Trump donated money and than saw to it that his firm took some of that money back as payment for services?
DeleteServices that someone was going to get paid to perform?
Did he get back more than he put in?
These vile creatures must be beaten back behind the baseboards and under the rocks.
ReplyDeleteGetting soft there, Kid....
DeleteAmerica has been involved in a civil war for a few decades now. At present it is mostly a war of vitriol (although occasionally a leftist gets his hands on a firearm and matters turn deadly). Sipping a nice red in Navarre is calming; here, people argue about football. Overall, quite pleasant and easy to deal with. As for charity, donations should be made quietly, without fanfare, but this is just an opinion that springs from how I was raised.
ReplyDeleteMustang,

How wonderful!
America has been involved in a civil war for a few decades now.
Perhaps, but many Americans didn't really notice until recently.
BTW, Mr. AOW says that our recent civil war began in 1968 and really revved up in the 90s.
