Names Have Meaning: Sri Lanka Suicide Bomber Mohammed Azzam Mohammed

About the Easter Sunday jihadist who stood in line at the crowded breakfast buffet at one of those high-end hotels and detonated himself just as he was about to be served:

From Wikipedia:
Abdullah Yusuf Azzam (Arabic: عبد الله يوسف عزام‎, ‘Abdu’llāh Yūsuf ‘Azzām; 1941 – 24 November 1989) also known as Father of Global Jihad[1][2] was a Palestinian Sunni Islamic scholar and theologian and founding member of al-Qaeda.[3] Azzam preached both defensive and offensive jihad by Muslims to help the Afghan mujahideen against the Soviet invaders.[3] He raised funds, recruited and organised the international Islamic volunteer effort of Afghan Arabs through the 1980s, and emphasised the political aspects of Islam.

Azzam was a teacher and mentor of Osama bin Laden and persuaded bin Laden to come to Afghanistan and help the jihad. As the war drew to an end, they both established al-Qaeda. He was also a co-founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Azzam was killed by a car bomb while within Peshawar, Pakistan in 1989.[10]
World War M (World War Muslim) continues apace. Evil incarnate.

  1. I found it interesting that Obama, Clinton, and a few others on the Communist News Network all used the exact same verbiage ... “Easter Worshipers.” Maybe there’s an subscription service Early Bird brief for members of the progressive deep state media. What are the statistics that everyone begins using the same words and phrases on the very same day, almost at the very same instant? The other thing is that they replace “Christian” with “Easter Worshiper” in the same way anthropologists might refer to Druids.

    1. I didn't find this as egregious as some did....Christians or Easter Worshipers? Seems more poignant to remind people they were celebrating Easter......goes without saying they're Christian. I ABSOLUTELY agree about memes springing up on all liberal media, it happens CONSTANTLY...and I guess EASTER WORSHIPERS was that day's, but FOX used it, too.

    2. Z,
      Would we say "Ramadan worshipers"?

Then there is also the matter of the very word Easter. From Google search: Despite its significance as a Christian holy day, many of the traditions and symbols that play a key role in Easter observances actually have roots in pagan celebrations—particularly the pagan goddess Eostre (or Ostara), the ancient Germanic goddess of spring. Just sayin'.

      More on Easter symbolism.

    1. I've been in a lot of strange and dangerous places, and I don't understand people voluntarily going to places like that.

    2. I don't understand it either. Several British families were "wiped out" in the Sri Lanka attacks. Why anyone would subject their loved ones to these heathens is far beyond my understanding.

    3. Actually, I'm surprised that none of my homeschoolers or homeschool graduates or other former students weren't over there in Sri Lanka. These people -- well-heeled, to say the least -- are forever visiting some Third World shi*thole.

    4. Update on the Danish billionaire: it appears that
father was hospitalized in Sri Lanka and then sent back to Denmark. Thus far, there has been no mention of the wife and fourth child.

  4. I wonder if Mohammed begged for his 72 virgins or for mercy when he came face to face with God Almighty. I'm betting on the latter, only to hear the Lord telling him that his buddies are also going to be joining him in the eternal oven soon. That is certainly no laughing matter.
