Mask Dropped...

...Or something.

Rick Wilson, an alleged Republican political strategist, is a nasty piece of work — and a particularly nasty NeverTrumper.

Get a load of this from Everything Trump Touches Dies: A Republican Strategist Gets Real About the Worst President Ever, the book that Wilson recently wrote:
…Wilson attacks Reince Priebus, Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz and Mike Pence, and he says Newt Gingrich “started twerking [for Trump] faster than a five-buck stripper.” Such sexualized put-downs abound in Wilson’s book. White House adviser Stephen Miller “needs to spend a week getting laid.” Wilson finds Trump campaign adviser Carter Page “reeking of late-stage virginity.” And the white-nationalist altGOP-right movement is a bunch of “pudgy white boys from lower-middle-class suburbs who couldn’t find a woman’s clitoris with a GPS and a magnifying glass.”…
And recently: GOP Strategist Insults ‘Rube, Ten-Tooth’ Trump Voters Who Support A Border Wall.

Charming, huh?

We live in the Age of Civility. **heavy sarcasm**

  1. Apparently this fine fellow must spend hours dreaming up his course remarks that apparently he believes are so clever. We have known for very long that the millions of Trump supporters are not worthy of living as the Progs hide behind walls protecting themselves from the unworthy hordes.

  2. Just another one of myriad wolves in sheep's clothing that comprise the D.C. RINO Establishment.

Just move on. Nothing to see here but a putrid pile of poo-poo..

I much prefer out-and-out Marxicrats like Upchuck Schumer, Nanny Pelousy, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Moonbem Brown, Gavin Gruesome, and little Adam "Pencilneck" Schitt to creeps like this slimy snake-in-the-grass.

If this Wilson is a Republican, then I'm King Kong's favorite grandson.

    2. from Conservative Treehouse today:

"The Chinese government will also be relying on support from lobbyists throughout Washington DC, specifically the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, hired by Chinese interests to undermine the position of U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and President Donald Trump."

  4. DEDICATED to RICK WILSON, AAA*

When we turn away from God
Movement slows to a dull plod.
The more Man tries to make life level
The closer he gets to the Devil.
    Leftists daily commit libel
Against the truths found in the Bible.
The farther we move towards the Left
The more we find ourselves bereft
Of Love and Joy and Sanity
As we are claimed by Vanity.

  5. From Wiki:

Wilson entered the political arena by campaigning for Connie Mack during the 1988 Florida Senate election. He later served on George H. W. Bush's campaign as Florida field director. Wilson was also a presidential appointee to the Department of Defense under then Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney.

In 1994, Wilson joined a Florida media firm, where he created Pollie-award winning ads for Rudolph Giuliani during the 1997 New York City mayoral election. In 1999 Wilson moved to New York City where he initially worked at City Hall, and then later campaigned for Giuliani during the 2000 New York Senate election.
    Media
Wilson has written numerous opinion and analysis columns for publications such as The Daily Beast, Politico, The New York Daily News, The Federalist, The Independent Journal Review, and Ricochet, and is a frequent guest on various cable- and network news outlets.

Funny how naive most of us were about that until recently, isn't it?

    1. Evidently Apple's recent stock crash is impacting the billionaires who run Berkshire-Cryaway (who own 21% of Apple stock) and they're all blaming Trump's China trade war for it. No wonder they're becoming so nasty.

    3. Sad fact is, "Americans" deeply invested in the stock market and profiting greatly from cheap China slave labor have no problem with China's bad behavior around the world and their wholesale theft of intellectual property.

The Stock Market and Silicon Valley want President Trump to leave China alone, national security be damned.

  10. President Trump's election has provided great political clarity. Many masks have dropped and people can no longer be mealy-mouthed about where they stand.

A bonus corollary: The foreign policy experts and global masters have been exposed for the charlatans and pseudo-intellectual know-nothings they are. They have wrought nothing but death, destruction, misery and failure since the collapse of Soviet communism.

My guess is that Wilson is on the payroll of the GOPe think tanks. I live inside the Beltway and know for an fact that other Never Trumpers are definitely are on the payrolls of GOPe think tanks.

Addendum: many of the Never Trumpers see themselves as agents of the Take Back the GOP Mission. Quite the zealots!

About damn time that they have to declare their stance. Many Americans are sick to death of mealy-mouthed politicians and, for that reason, voted for Trump in 2016.

    5. GOOPers do not want to upset the bipartisan hog trough they grow so fat at, so they dress up their greed, craven pusillanimousness, and ideological vapidity in "honor" and "respectability," that usually results in Establishmentarian Republicans losing respectably (Romney, McCain, H. W. Bush).

This current crop of Never-Trump Republicans, asses so tight their lips are frozen in an eternal scolding pucker, claim to stand for true conservative values, but they have exploded the debt, grown government, beat drums for endless wars (while they themselves stay thousands of miles away from the battlefields), and have done nothing to defend free market priniciples....

...so, what exactly about these never-Trumper Republicans is conservative?

It's all bovine escatology--The GOP poobahs want their places of privilege on the DC cocktail circuit, they toady for good press and places of privilege, and most importantly, they don't want to be cut off from whatever money and power the progressive establishment overlords deign to toss them.

      Fie on them all

What the truth might be no one can find.
Hopeless is the quest on either side
Invested as they are in staying blind
To anything that points to Power denied.

Entrenched in battle lines made to endure,
Weapons drawn and ready to attack.
A motivating force that’s quite impure
Twists logic into seeing white as black.

Examining our leaders’ feet of clay
Removes us from confronting our own flaws,
While they decisive action can delay
On how to rid the Nation’s Face of yaws.

Electing pugilists who throw the fight
Scorches angels’ wings, yet sheds no light.

This sonnet was penned twenty-two years ago in reference to the Clintons‘ Whitewater woes, but obviously the basic sentiments apply to the way politics is conducted all the time. Proof once more that "The more things change, the more they remain the same.” - FT

  16. UNBIDDEN ADVICE:

Do reread The Mad Hatter's Tea Party in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

Also reacquaint yourself with Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. –– the shorter and probably the pithiest of all his plays

From these two highly disparate sources, –– though each is far reoved from the times in which we live –– you would be sure to get a much greater understanding of the current political climate.

"Collected "facts" don't matter much. They never have, because they can too easuly be twisted and manipulated to "prove" just about anything those who bandy them about WANT OTHERS to BELIEVE –– usually for selfish or nefarious reasons,.

So in the end it it is only the SPIRIT behind both the machinations and the good deeds that matters, and the two seemingly unrelated sources given above exemplify the "Zeitgeist" or Guidung Mentality of OUR times far better than any chronicle that purports to reprtand interpret current events.

You'd have to read both Alice and Julius with honest curiosity to ferret it out for yourselves of course, but if you make the effort, you would be sure to discover that "The more things change, the more they remain the same."

WE ARE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY.
