  4. This is one of the reasons that many of us have such a low opinion of lawyers. On the other hand, ridiculous settlements just to get rid of these cases for a few bucks only encourages these lawsuits. People should have to pay all the cost if they lose these stupid suits that have no merit. Bet it would stop a lot of it.

  5. The ONLY possibe solution to the problem of mischievous, predatory, spite-based, or purely inane frivooous lawsuits would be to CHANGE the LAW, to DEMAND that LOSERS haveto pay ALL court costs AND the ATTORNEY'S FEES of the WINNER.

Failure to provide adequate reimbursement to the curt and to the offended party or parties would result in MANDATORY JAIL TIME of NO LESS than SIX MONTHS.

I think everyone would have to admit that such a change in policy would do MUCH to curb the frequent abuse of the legal system we suffer with now.

So-called Ambulance Chasers should be either be jailed or heavily fined –– possibly both in extreme cases.

ALSO: No law firm should be permitted toA DVERTISE. PERIOD!

    Anyone have a better idea?
