  1. Ducky will win points with me if he makes a clear distinction between Reagan conservatives and this "alt-right" noise that is proud to be everything the left needs to win ideological battles.

    1. I doubt Ducky cares about that. Conservatism is dying a death of a thousand cuts, most of them self-inflicted.

    2. I disagree. Conservatism proper is alive and well - at the state level. I can't wait for Missouri to go to war with Illinois. We have uranium.

    3. The GOP dominates at the state level, and there are probably some lessons in there. State governments don't have access to the wide range of chicanery tools and monetary manipulation the federal government has.

    4. SF,
Excellent point about those "down ticket" offices!

    5. ...and they have the reactors you need to turn it into plutonium...

    6. Aye. Whatever happens "down ticket." the states still participating in the "United States" will send up conservatives to stymie her.

    7. Missouri has reactors too. The "Manhattan Project" - Mallinckrodt - is in St. Louis.

Not to mention the 150+ Minuteman missiles outside KC that already have megaton firecrackers in them.

    8. So far this primary year, 26 million Republicans have voted... as compared to 21 million Democrats... down ticket's going to be a great place for Republicans to be.

    9. That's 10.6 million votes for Trump, 36.4 million votes for NeverTrump.

    10. I am refraining from making any election predictions. I've been wrong too many times!

    11. Trump's unfavorability ratings are near 75%. It's not likely "getting to know him better" after 30 years of celebrity / infamy are going to budge those numbers in the next 6 months. Nobody hates Hillary Clinton as much as they hate Donald Trump.

Trump's electoral college total will be lower than Barry Goldwater's. Dog the Bounty Hunter could beat Trump. Hillary's going to skullf*ck his corpse.

    12. The numbers put Trump within striking distance. They'll change with "focus".

    13. The "key" will be turnout in November. And it's my belief that the primary votes thus far indicate Republican voters MUCH more likely to take the trouble to actually vote. They've had eight yeas of idiots already.

    14. FJ,
Everybody needs to take a few minutes to study those graphs. Thanks for the link!

    15. I'm hoping Trump calls their bluff, rather than deal with them.

    16. Joe,
He may appear to compromise with the neocons -- then dump them later.

Of course, I don't know what Trump will do about the neocons. We shall see, but the answer may not be apparent for SEVEN months.

    17. Oops! Not seven months, but rather January 21, 2017.

    18. Joe,
Just last week, Ryan was "fine" with Trump.

      Yeah.

Is this a wild ride -- or what? Sheesh.

    19. FJ,
Yeehaw to that one: "Donald Trump is giving the over-educated geeks who run the world a sharp lesson in reality."

    20. PS - Paul Ryan's primary is August 8. He's about to get "Cantored"...

      Delete
    21. FJ,
If Paul Ryan actually is Cantored, will the GOP management finally get the message?

      Delete
    22. I think that Sarah Palin delivered the "message" already. An offer that the GOPe can't refuse, since they now "own" it.

  2. I'm getting a message that there are no shows scheduled on the call in number.

    1. Don't worry. WC is working on getting that taken care of.

We're running a bit late. Sorry!
