If you're interested in history, you won't want to miss the following video about the three meta-changes in world history (hat tip to No One of Any Import):
I really like Bill Whittle. His assessment of history and the current political climate is astute and accurate. Will the American citizen return to his roots or will he continue down the path of socialism? Hopefully, we will return to our constitutionally governed Republic.
Interesting....my favorite democrat recently said something like what he said about Unions/Government standing up to big business. No I could not get this person to grasp that teachers are not employed by big business
I do not believe the entire country will go silently into communism. The Tea Party movement and results of the 2010 elections revealed the nation is divided into thus willing to lick the feet of their masters and those of us wanting smaller local government.
My hope is that Washington allows itself to become smaller but I fear that power is an all consuming drug and so the future of this great nation hangs in between more freedom and less freedom.
Hey there! Thanks for the hat tip. I'm glad you agree about this Bill Whittle video. He is fantastic, and the day I found this vid, I really needed the motivation it provided.
Guys I wouldn't be so sure that Big Government is on its way out. Regardless of weather or not big government is a bad thing, I don't see it going away anytime soon. Government has been growing throughout American History and it won't be a trend that is easy to reverse, because too many people will lose too much power if government shrinks too much. Its too early to say if the new digital age as Bill Whittle calls will lead to a more decentralized government. He maybe guilty of some wishful thinking.
