"Europe is at war"

The ex-president of the Czech Republic explains that Europe is at war in this subtitled video worth one minute of your time:

This travesty is, in large part, Angela Merkel's fault for throwing open the doors. What is wrong with that woman?

Germany now:

Residents Flee Pool After Migrants Masturbate Into Jacuzzi, Defecate In Kid’s Pool, Invade Girls Changing Rooms

and

German government admits it cannot account for 600,000 of its 1.1million Muslim “refugees”

and

Germans Battle Refugee Sex Assaults With Signs, Cartoons.

Screen shot from that last link:

This kind of forbidden sign is needed in 21st Century Europe? Really?

With thanks to Baysider for the video below:

Just a few years ago, could many Westerners have imagined that all this would be happening in the 21st Century West?

We Americans should consider how unimaginable the situation in Europe has so rapidly become before comforting ourselves by proclaiming, "This kind of thing could never happen in the United States!"

Never say never.

Insanity Rules The Day!

The Scream by Edvard Munch (1863-1944)

To this we have come: shooting the messenger.

Read Houston Grand Indicts David Daleiden [the pro-life activist who planned and organized the undercover sting videos] For Organ Trafficking, Issues No Charges Against Planned Parenthood

The pro-life activist is trafficking in organs?

Are you kidding me?

And here's even more insanity — and corruption:
Lauren Reeder, a Harris County prosecutor, has been a board member for Planned Parenthood since 2013 and a fundraiser since 2009.
Ms. Reeder didn't recuse herself?

To top it all off, the announcement about the indictment was released last night, but the actual indictment document has not been released as of this posting.

Our nation is circling the drain.

History's Take?

Not quite accurate, but you get the point, I'm sure.

One of my recent Facebook finds:

White House says it's “entirely likely” and “even expected” that Iran will use the released funds for terrorism (video posted January 21, 2016):

Article III, Sec. 3 of the US Constitution states:
Treason against the United States, shall consist...in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort....
What will be history's take on recent U.S. foreign policy? Get out your crystal ball, and tell us what you see.

The Day After The 2016 Blizzard

If only we humans had this luxury!

I see about two feet of snow out there and drifts that look at least four feet high. Despite my constant sweeping of the front porch yesterday, the porch will have to be shoveled today — before the melting and the refreezing turn the front porch into a skating rink.

Winter Blast!

(For politics, please scroll down)

Blizzard time. We're due.  The last horrible blast struck in 2010.

The biggest concern, of course, is the possibility of losing electrical power.

Dr. Julio Pino, "Lover of Angels"

Dr. Julio Pino of Kent State University

Dr. Julio Pino, tenured professor at Kent State University, should have been on the FBI's radar since at least 2002. It is just now public knowledge that he is under investigation, this time for recruiting students to join ISIS. Please note the timeline in the foregoing link.

Why wasn't Homeland Security hot on Dr. Pino's trail years earlier?

Who Is “Lover of Angels”?

From the above web site:
About: Behind this mask lies not a man but an idea. An idea is bullet-proof. Lover of Angels is a Knight under the Prophet's Banner and Son of the Sword of Saladin.

Interests: "Remember when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you, saying: I will help you with a thousand of the angels each behind the other in succession. This was a message of hope from your Lord to reassure and comfort your hearts, since victory comes only through the help of Allah, the Mighty, the Wise."

Expertise: Research and Writing, Public Speaking

Occupation: Artist

Industry: Education/Research
Two comments left by Lover of Angels at “Ohio Islamic Leader To Be Deported”:
Yes, My doctorate has done enormous damage to the Zionists in America, so much so that the Head Priestess at Hillel once whined, "It's a disgrace that Jewish money is going to pay for this man's salary." BTW, why has LOA never been deported? If ye only knew...
Comment by Lover of Angels— 2005/11/26 @ 01:55 PM

Yes, but think of all those "sleepers", like LOA, who are left behind, live and dangerous. Who knows when the next martyrdom operation might be coming to your town? I do.
Comment by Lover of Angels— 2005/11/28 @ 10:13 AM
The site-meter trail for the above comments appears to lead to Dr. Julio Cèsar Pino of Kent State University. Dr. Pino is “an outspoken apologist for Palestinian terrorism.”

Should such an individual be teaching at one of the leading universities in the United States?

Discover the Networks has this information, much of which was published after the above blog post.

It is past time that Dr. Julio Pino was called to account.

Never thought that I'd live long enough to see a chart like this one:

Book Review...Rosemary Kennedy: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter

Recently, I read Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter by Kate Clifford Larson, who also wrote Bound for the Promised Land, a biography of Harriet Tubman, and The Assassin's Accomplice, an account of Mary Surratt's part in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

This 2015 book details Rosemary Kennedy's academic struggles and the family's struggles with trying to find academic and social solutions for a family member who couldn't — or wouldn't — live up to the standards expected by Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.  One primary motive for having his daughter, age 23, undergo a lobotomy at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., in November 1941, seems to have been the concern that she would bring disgrace upon the family and, thereby, interfere with his plans for establishing a Kennedy political dynasty.

Game Changer?

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know about this:
Ten U.S. sailors and two U.S. riverine command boats – small shallow-water patrol craft with minimal technology or defenses – were detained Tuesday [January 12, 2016] after a mechanical failure caused the boats to drift into Iran’s territorial waters near Farsi Island, U.S. defense officials said. There were nine male sailors and one female sailor on board.

After Iran impounded their vessels, the video shows the crews being taken to what looks to be a closed-off room with white walls and rugs. The crew removed their shirts and shoes; it was not clear if the Iranians required them to do so. The male sailors are wearing olive T-shirts, and the female sailor is wearing a long-sleeve shirt and a head covering.
The US Navy personnel have been released.

The images and the video broadcast on Iranian television:

Unpredecented Sexual Assault Of Western Women

See The Arabic gang-rape 'Taharrush' phenomenon which sees women surrounded by groups of men in crowds and sexually assaulted... and has now spread to Europe:
It refers to sexual assaults carried out by groups of men in public places

Surrounded by dozens of attackers, lone women are groped or raped

The phenomenon was first seen in 2011 when a reporter was attacked

Lara Logan endured an assault while reporting on the protests in Egypt

Police say attacks in Cologne marked Europe's first instance of taharrush

The GOP-Establishment Manipulators

Last night, I looked into getting absentee ballots for Mr. AOW and me so that we can vote in the Virginia Primary on March 1, 2016. We were planning to vote for any GOP candidate not approved by the GOP establishment.

For as long as I can remember, here in Virginia we have had open primaries. That is, voters did not have to affirm Party affiliation to vote in primaries.

Lo! What did I see regarding the upcoming Virginia Primary? THIS!
The Republican Party of Virginia has determined that the
following statement shall be a requirement of your participation.
Both Mr. AOW and I are registered as Independents, so we won't be voting in the 2016 Virginia Republican Primary. We've been shut out.

BTW, no such certification is required for the 2016 Democratic Primary here in Virginia.

Meanwhile, here is a recent essay by one of the GOP-establishment mouthpieces: Trump’s nomination would rip the heart out of the Republican Party.

From across The Pond, Pat Condell opines on something which the GOP establishment has not yet fathomed:

Musical Interlude

(For politics, please scroll down)

Take a few moments to enjoy Frédéric Chopin's Rondo à la Krakowiak Op. 14, performed by Idil Biret and Robert Stankovsky with the Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra:

YouTube blurb:
Of all the piano + orchestra works Chopin wrote, this one has (arguably) the most beautiful introduction. A soft, meditation where the piano hums a melody, the woodwinds lag to complete it, and the strings soar above. The rondo itself is probably one of the least well known of Chopin's works, which isn't too much of a surprise, but it is a delightful dance that makes for great morning time music.

  • Two more Cologne victims describe being sexually assaulted and attacked
  • One, Jenny, suffered severe burns when a firework was shoved in her hood
  • Similar attacks also occurred on New Year's Eve in Hamburg and Stuttgart
  • Police have admitted they fear it was part of a known criminal enterprise
  • Fear it was a professional gang who sexually assault women as distraction
  • Cologne town centre has been called a 'no-go area' by its own city council
  • There are now fears the upcoming carnival will be scene of similar assaults

Clue Me In

I was working all day yesterday, the first day back to classes after the Christmas break, so I missed the live coverage and most of the later analysis of Obama's 10-point plan on gun control.

What happened, and what effects will the plan have?

The Islamic State — 21st Century Burke And Hare

About the 19th Century ghouls Burke and Hare:
On Monday, November 3, 1828, Edinburgh awoke to the horrifying news that the most atrocious murders of the decade -- of the century -- had been committed in the West Port district of the Old Town. William Burke and William Hare, together with Helen M'Dougal and Margaret Hare, were accused of killing 16 people over the course of 12 months, in order to sell their cadavers as "subjects" for dissection.
Must read: Walid Shoebat has the information

From Reuters (December 25, 2015):
Islamic State sanctioned organ harvesting in document taken in U.S. raid

Islamic State has sanctioned the harvesting of human organs in a previously undisclosed ruling by the group’s Islamic scholars, raising concerns that the violent extremist group may be trafficking in body parts.

The ruling, contained in a January 31, 2015 document reviewed by Reuters, says taking organs from a living captive to save a Muslim's life, even if it is fatal for the captive, is permissible....
And a smidgen of Jeffrey Dahmer, too:
The fatwa sanctioning organ harvesting justifies the practice in part by drawing an analogy to cannibalism in extreme circumstances, a practice it says earlier Islamic scholars had allowed. “A group of Islamic scholars have permitted, if necessary, one to kill the apostate in order to eat his flesh, which is part of benefiting from his body,” it says.

There is no negotiating with these evil savages. Extermination is the only answer.
