Just wait until tomorrow. I predict the decision from SCOTUS will be spkit with the individual mandate being struck down but severable. The Executive will then issue a new decree because of Congress. The end result will be like the immigration issue----a cloudy mess that makes matters worse not better.

Does he have the nerve to do that BEFORE the election?
Not sure what the problem with that ad is. Food stamps have been around a really long time, and they were advertised as being available back then. Advertised a lot. Everybody knew about them.
The illegals knew about them before even strapping on their backpacks and tying their shoes around their necks, and the blacks in this country dived on them almost to the last one, as soon as they became available.
I don't want to poop on your scoop but really, this is no big deal.
Black Sheep, Not sure what the problem with that ad is.
The tone and the idea that Margie stays fit because she gets food stamps.
To be honest with you, I've never heard the elderly chuckling over getting food stamps. My great aunt may have gotten them for all I know -- she was impoverished after the death of her husband. But I know that she wouldn't have chuckled about it.
Liberalmann, I know that it's asking a lot from you as you do not have a logical mind, but please, if you're going to comment here, be sure that your comment has some kind of relationship to the thread to which you are posting.
Throw a Great Party. Host social events where people mix and mingle. Make it fun by having activities, games, food, and entertainment, and provide information about SNAP. Putting SNAP information in a game format like BINGO, crossword puzzles, or even a “true/false” quiz is fun and helps get your message across in a memorable way.
Okay, you got me there. Making it known that food stamps are available is one thing, pushing them to get more people to take them is another. I'm as against the creation of a welfare state as much as you are.

Well, if you can't see the relationship, you have the lack of a logical mind.

The food stamp brigade just keeps growing and that is by design. Our government has no shame.

Throw a party! Get more people on food stamps! From a USDA pamphlet (I kid you not!):
