Guess Who?

(Two posts today. Please scroll down)

The guessing game is below the fold.

Who wrote the following?
"Land ... cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market.... Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes."
Later today, I will post the correct answer in the comments section.

  1. I believe this blather came from the United Nations as part of the so-called Vancouver Plan of Action, but it is easily something more recently attributed to Ducky, who has never once forgotten an important communist talking point.

  3. Yes, the quotation is from the UN's Agenda 21. I saw the story today at THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS. Reliapundit was pointing out what recently happened in Alabama:

Alabama Bans U.N. Agenda 21 Sovereignty Surrender

  5. I'm sorry, I just can't wrap my mind around this socialism nonsense. I find it inconceivable that people actually think that we should redistribute wealth among those who did not earn it.

I'm not wealthy, I would benefit from this. I do not want someone else's property or money. I will earn what I have. Thank you very much.

  6. Either Karl Marx or Barack Obama.

I always get those two confused...

  7. I cheated and Googled it. Well, that explains the closure of so much "public" land over the past years.

I already knew our government wants to control everything though. I've been watching the ongoing takeover for over 50 years. Time gives a wonderful perspective.

  8. How about:

"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."

  10. I it wasn't SAID by Marx, it certainly STEMMED from Marx.

It's a paraphrase of a central tenet of his pernicious ideology.

  11. I thought for sure it was Marx from what I've read of him (closely mimicks a quote of his I think).

the UN said it? Dear God in Heaven above help us. The UN can control any memeber nation for the most part. US, leave like you did in the beginning or bye bye freedom...
