The naked display of uncontrollable gung-ho emotion was bad enough but then a smug-looking Obama began sounding like Glenn Ford in a scene from High Noon as he lectured the world about “justice being done”....

According her own account after her release, during her captivity she was asked by one of her captors to convert to Islam; she refused, but gave her word she would read the Qur'an after her release.
In freedom, she kept this promise, as she said partly to find out why the Taliban treated women as they do. She said it changed her life.
The Qur'an, she says describing the holy book of Islam, is a "magna carta for women".

I found Ridley’s bio interesting. Some might argue she “converted” to Islam, but in another day, we should say her alignment with a dangerous enemy perpetuates her treason against the United Kingdom and its people. Sadly, the UK lacks the stones to prosecute her, much less put her to death. You’ve heard the expression, “A rose by any other name is still a rose.” Ridley may call herself a servant of Allah, but she’s still a piece of dog crap.
ReplyDeleteI could do without her rant against our Right to Bear Arms to be sure but she did something I have yet to see our vaulted "Free" press do. She actually pointed out the hypocrisy of the Obama Administration. I know ther Obama Administration has been a case study in flip flops, reversals and lies but this action in taking out Osama was straight out of the cowboy politics handbook. We invaded a sovereign nation and killed a citizen of their country without due process. All ordered by the man who believes in civilian courts for those caught by Bush and company, and a man who adhors military action unless sanctioned by an international caolition. Too bad she was so close and if she could just set aside her dogma for a minute it would have been a much better article.

I get tired of hearing that Osama was unarmed. It would be incredibly stupid to assume he was unarmed because there wasn't a weapon in his hand.
ReplyDeleteSo now when we go to war, we have to charge the combatants criminally, read them their rights, and then take them to court as well? I don't really expect common sense from Europe anymore, but a woman in a hijab complaining that poor Osama Bin Laden was shot while unarmed is too much.

I would be willing to bet that she has never written about the Muslim, sorry Asian, rapes of women, forced prostitution of Christians, or the no go areas in Britain. That would be far too close to the truth for her, and if there is one thing that people like her despise, it is the truth.

ReplyDeleteI fail to understand why so many don't understand the meaning of the word "war." The purpose of war is to defeat the enemy. What was it that General Patton said? Something like "Your job isn't to die for your country. Your job is make the other poor bastard die for HIS country.
Forget understanding the enemy.
Forget winning hearts and minds.
Beat the enemy until he surrenders -- or is annihilated. THAT is what war is supposed to be.

Right. Real justice would not have involved kiling 3000 unarmed civilians who weren't even considered the world's most wanted.
Most (with the exceptions that some of the military killed at the Pentagon might have been armed, and certainly some killed at the WTC were armed security guards)of those victims were unarmed. And, did not have bodyguards. And, the tragedy played out on National television. I wonder what it was like to be the wife, husband, or children of those victims?
And certainly, real justice does not involve flying planes into buildings full of innocent people of another country unannounced.
We are supposed to mourn this monster, but toss aside the victims of 9/11?

On the other hand, I kind of agree with her that Obama really blew a golden opportunity to score political points with his admission that Osama wasn't armed.
ReplyDeleteKilling unarmed people, whatever the reason, is exactly the sort of thing the majority of Obama's supporters continually protest against. If they are sincere in their protests, they will turn on their savior with a vengeance, and he will find himself unemployed come January 2013.
IMHO, he should have stuck with the story that Osama was armed and used a woman as a human shield. Even the most rabid Liberals would have supported Osama's killing in that case.
If Obama made the decision to change the original story, he must be a moron.

I doubt seriously that there is a mole in the White house. Obama is a micro-manager and waffles incessantly never seeming to notice his own contradictions. One day calls for a change of "tone" and the next he's demagoging the Republicans and hinting at their supposed "racist" motives for wanting to control government spending.

You don't think that anyone on Obama's staff could actually love his country? Do you really think that all of the President's men are completely, totally, loyal to him without regard to what they see he is doing to our country?

Some converts to Islam have converted because when they were growing up as Westerners, they weren't taught that Western civilization is worth preserving. Also, some converts were not previously of any faith and had no "tether," so when Islam came along with legalistic guidelines, they jumped onto the conversion bandwagon. I think that most human beings want guidelines, and when a culture no longer provides those guidelines and boundaries, some people look for those guidelines elsewhere.

Most western Europeans and Americans are so disconnected from religious views and spirituality of any kind, it is very hard for them to comprehend the kind of zealotry that exists in the Muslim religion. I think that is why liberals are always looking for "answers" as to why so many Muslims will overtly or tacitly support terrorism. They look for reasons that are economic, educational or "social justice" oriented in nature. In turn that translates in to their minds "We (or Israel) have done something to make them mad at us. Therefore it is our fault." It is self-deception and is about the only reason I figure liberals are so oblivious of what to us, is a clear and present danger. The libs just cannot process something that is spiritually motivated.

ReplyDeleteIf he is, he's spinning it the wrong way. This only makes him look bad, and, if Democrats have any common sense at all they will not vote for him based on Obama's stated role in the execution of an unarmed man.
Remember, it is his base that protests execution.

ReplyDeleteI agree that's pretty much the case, especially with a ditz like Angela Collins (who was doing some PR for Islam on various news and talk shows for a while there). Then there's the not-so-attractive females with low self-esteem who meet Muslim men online (usually from the Middle East) who convert, marry, and help these men get green cards.
And of course, there's Yvonne. She's more or less an amalgamation of Stockholm Syndrome and a deep-seeded lifelong hatred of all things Israeli.
Anybody who converts to islam, especially a woman, needs to have his/her head examined.

Alright, and how many moles would it take to put out all these different stories?
This isn't some mysterious unidentified source, there are multiple stories. Frequently President Jughead contradicts himself or his press secretary makes a fool of himself as he spins us a new tale.
Can you name one of his advisers that you would trust alone in a room with your billfold?
No this is the Chicago way and anyone who violates the code of Omerta will lose their privileges at the public hog feeding trough.
