I put nothing past members of our Congress. They will subvert the Constitution without a moments hesitation if it suits their quest for gaining and/or maintaining political power.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a long time coming. Many here do not realize (I know you do, AOW) just how "radical" our free speech rights look to the rest of the world. Sadly, we are an outlier, even within Western Democracy.
ReplyDeleteThis is the next fight, because statist progressives do not like free speech, and doubly so because they have become the patsies of the passive-aggressive radical Muslim lobby.

The progressive mindset abhors free speech, and this is why there are loons trolling the blogosphere telling writers to STFU, shouting RACIST each and every time they don’t like the message, or even holding their ears while hollering LALALALALALALALA. So here is the Justice Department of the United States who refuses to answer a question about suppressing the right of free speech. Why is that person not impeached for his violation of the Fourteenth Amendment?

But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
The man from DOJ is an enemy of the Constitution and should be removed from office pursuant to the law, above.

Well, I'm all for hate speech. I hate Islam and illegal aliens and Barack Obama and his monkey-faced wife Michelle and I enjoy saying so. They'll have to pry my hate speech from my cold, dead fingers, so to speak. Hatefully.

When you look at what Obama appointees, like Sunstein and Lloyd have said, this doesn't come as surprise. Dissent must be banned, and free speech is a thorn in their side.

I see the future where interpreting the Constitution will be done by Liberal/Progressives placed on the courts. We all know how they will rule. We see it every day.

Dear Blogginator, although these do indeed appear to BE those End Times, we should not wear it as a time of trepidation and fear. We KNOW the outcome! Come Hell AND High Water- WE PERSEVERE. And, I might add, we ALSO OVERCOME, often as a natural consequence of Spirit and Backbone!
