Book Review: Iquitos, Peru: Almost Close

How to review this unique book, one that is impossible to classify by the usual genres?  The must-read blurb from the back cover of the book is HERE.

Now, for my review (also posted at Amazon)...

Part memoir, part picaresque romp, part societal commentary, and part philosophy – and absolutely worth reading. I found myself rereading portions both to laugh at some of the hijinks and to think more about some of the ideas expressed.

Iquitos, Peru: Almost Close by D.W. Walker is a book to savor!

I often donate books that I've read to my local public library. I won't be doing so with this book, now a permanent part of my home library.

    Sounds intriguing, AOW. Is it available on Kindle yet? That's the only way I could hope to enjoy it -- or maybe a "talking book" version.
