Could a Kenyan-type attack happen here. You bet it could. No doubt about it. And when it does, armed citizens may make the difference. In fact, seems like we have had individual shooters in a mall inside the US, I will have to check on that. But an organized multiple-shooter attack like Kenya, sure it could happen. Even the Kenyans think it would be good for individuals to be armed now.
