    1. Judging the past but he standards we've (regrettably) adopted in latter years is ALL the RAGE among the CHIDLREN of the LEFT.

These hyper-aggressive, rage-addcited, self-righteous, intellectual pygmies will never cease their destructive, idiotic machinations until they have reduced those few surviving members of the human species to living naked once more in the caves.

    2. This is hardly new. Wayne's reactionary beliefs are well known.

If his work with John Ford and Howard Hawks isn't safe then the history of American film is doomed.

    3. What makes you think the history of film is worth preserving?

The films, THEMSELVES, speak very well on their own.

I don't give a tinker's dam who slept with whom, or what vicious games of oneupsmnshit the moguls played with each other, how many whorelets they defiled, how many matinee idols were bisexual, or screaming drag queens off camera, how many abortions they ordered, or how many drunks, drug addicts, streetwalkers, homeless bums, and hopeless neurotics they created.

    4. You have an interesting conception of film history.

      Typically bizarre, however.

  2. Lots of fun, even though it's hardly an exaggeration of much unpleasant truth.

Thanks for the chuckles, even as I choke and cough because of the glutinous giggles clogging my throat.

The Snark resides within these lofty pages.

  5. I'd LOVE to see President Trump play The Narrator to Robert Mueller's Fortunate in a real life evocation of The Cask of Amontillado

A perfect setting for this would be the deep, dark catacomb-like vaulted chambers underpinning the Lincoln Memorial.

    1. I took great delight years ago in discovering Sinister = Left in Latin. In Italian, Sinistra. Yes, "left" is feminine and "sinister" takes the masculine, but its all from the same root and still funny.
