    1. Hey! I'm a NewYorker too -- by birth. BROOKLYN! Does that count with you? Been outta there a long time. Still miss the place -- especially the life in midtown Manhattan. Not sure I could take it with either the last mayor, that stinkin' Nanny Bloomberg, or this new one, Di Blasio with the black lesbian wife, in charge, however.

      Never knew that about you.

Well, if we're lucky we learn something new every day. ;-) If you're still in town, please give my regards to broadway. ;-)

      HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    2. We're staying home, too. It's cold and windy here.

But we do have brandy and eggnog. I'm sure that we'll hoist our glasses in a toast long before midnight, however.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! AND MAY 2014 BRING YOU GOOD HEALTH!

  3. As for me, AOW, I'm staying home, and spending a VERY quiet evening with myself tonight. At nearly-73 years of age, the Wild Days and Nights are well behind me.

There's a LOT to be said for Peace and Quiet -- especially in the crazy world we live in today.

Naturally, I wish you and everyone else s Wiser, Calmer, more Pleasant and Generous filled with Satisfying Projects and exciting-but-not-dangerous Adventure -- however you define it.
