HERE at Mr. AOW's web site.
This outing, a landmark one for us, was a last minute decision after his 2:00 A.M. return from the American Legion post, so I posted something for Mr. AOW today.

I left the following comment at Mr. AOW's place:
ReplyDeleteThat's great news. Should be a fun experience for everyone.
We haven't been to a car show in years.
My hubby bought (new) the very first 240-Z Datsun (Nissan) in 1971. If he had kept that car it would be worth a fortune today.

Debbie, mine was a 914 in 1970. I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteMrs., enjoy your day off.
I'm very happy to see that Mr. AOW is getting out now and spending time with his friends. I know he'll enjoy the car show. Good choice of car, too.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun. I am glad to hear Mr AOW's recovery is continuing apace!
ReplyDeleteI went to the swimming pool today and stayed as long as the ice in my water bottle didn't melt.
ReplyDeleteIt's SO good to get a real day off!
I hope that Mr. AOW returns home with a trophy. He might get one even though the car isn't lovely anymore. He said, "Maybe a pity prize."
In any case, all the guys at this particular show will be delighted to see him out and about. He's been invited every year, of course, but this is the first year that he has been strong enough to go!
The car show was excellent!
ReplyDeletePlus, it was good to be out with the guys.
I wish that the weather hadn't been so hot, though!
