Michelle Obama's Fantasy

In an attempt to be chummy at the "Take Your Child To Work Day" event at the White House (or perhaps in yet another manifestation of the woman's constant state of discontent), we have the following from the First Lady on April 26, 2012:
"It is hard to sneak around and do what you want," Michelle Obama said today. "I have done it a couple of times. But you know one fantasy I have, and the Secret Service they keep looking at me because they think I might actually do it, is to walk right out the front door and just keep walking."
A plethora of wags at that comments thread at Real Clear Politics.

Spew alert!  When reading the comments, set down your beverage.

  1. Great minds chose the same topic! I just wish she would take hubby with her. P.S. re: Medigap.I forgot Mr. AOW was under 65 and you are in D.C. I believe. Some states allow it. My thought are with you,

  2. Her and Barack walking out the door and just keep walking...

    Yeah, that's my fantasy too.

  3. I'm sure the Secret Service wouldn't mind...

What, has it been too long since Mooch's last vacation?

  4. I agree, I have the same fantasy. Mine though has both of them leaving.

  5. My fantasy regarding this is the Marines Corp. placing them both in hand restraints and escorting them out!

  6. Oh please Mooch, do it, go and never look back. Take your socialist empty suit with you.

  7. Another recent story that makes Michelle Obama's claim about wanting to walk out of the White House absolutely ludicrous (emphasis mine):

It cost taxpayers nearly a half-million dollars for first lady Michelle Obama to travel to Spain in 2010...

    [...]

the cost of sending the first family on overseas trips. Its analysis indicated that it cost $424,142 to fly the first family to South Africa and Botswana in 2011...

How many here visiting this blog have ever enjoyed such costly and luxurious vacations? FOR FREE?

    Anyone?

    Anyone?

  8. Well, conservatives being the nice and generous people that they are will see if they can't grant her wish come this November.

  9. The backs of the Obamas walking away from the White House this November is my fantasy.

  10. You know.... if we could get Congress to hand out a $30,000,000 vacation allowance to Barack and Michelle yearly, it might save a heck of a lot of money in the long run, and be good for the country. Provided the Obama's spend the entire year spending this money.

Already you would be saving the country $1.5 trillion in yearly debt, without Obama to create it. You wouldn't have him trying to destroy America's health care, appointing justices and judges who hate the Constitution, and other nefarious things that happen when Obama is in the office.

  12. My GOSH, for once, Michelle Obama and I share the same fantasy!
Quick, get her those boots made for WALKIN'..

  13. These Nobamas are living high on our tax money and need a reality check! Come November, let's give 'em one!

  14. Yes, please, LEAVE. You and Obama and your kids, leave the house you don't have the respect or CULTURE to admire (people pay through the nose to VISIT PART of there...) and find some place where you can be happy. Maybe Kenya, or Arabia, or maybe a tropical island somewhere in the Pacific. Want it? Go, stay there for the rest of your lives, travel expences paid, my treat. Just LEAVE.

PS when I saw the spew alert I was expecting the usual Libral BS... never have I been so happy to be wrong. Seems everyone is fed up with vacation princess and socalist emperor (though the titles be too lofy for the likes of them).

  15. If the lady wants to walk, let her walk, as long as she takes her man and brood with her.

I don't think she was any more ready for the White House than her husband.

  16. My fantasy includes the whole bunch of them headed out the door forever. Good riddance.

  17. By all means GO --- and don't let the door hit you on your hind end when you do. I'd hate to see the White House door reduced to splinters.

  18. It's no secret, I want them gone.

Today a friend of mine attended one of their "appearances." The temperature was over 90 degrees and the secret service DID NOT ALLOW anyone to carry bottled water because they considered it "dangerous."

Not only did my friend get sick, others passed out from the heat. She was there as a photographer not as a fan.

I bet Obama and his vile wife had their bottled water under the podium? Ya, think?

And of course they didn't give rats-rear-end that the people were denied water. And were becoming dehydrated.

  19. FT,
    LOL!

The door just might be reduced to splinters upon her departure.

  20. Wildstar,
The other day, when I discovered that thread at Real Clear Politics and started reading some of the comments out loud to Mr. AOW, we laughed until our sides ached.

Truly, the Obamas do not respect the White House, the most beautiful home in all of the United States. Have you, by any chance, seen THIS VIDEO about how the Obamas disrespect the White House?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Leticia,
Did the media cover what happened at the Obama event that your friend attended?

The Obamas, who are the personification of elitism, have no regard for "the little people."

    ReplyDelete
  22. Is it my imagination, or is Obama getting even more strident and up on his high horse? Note the tone and the gestures in the video clip, which includes Obama's recent collectivist rant when speaking to our military.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Face it guys, your little edited story is a farce. The Obamas aren't going anywhere.

  26. Besides having the worst fashion sense of any First Lady since Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Buck-Toothed Bride, Eleanor, and the quintessentially dowdy Bess Truman, Michelle Obama could certainly be described as a hard-ass -- except where overindulgence of Self and Family come in, of course.

Hillary Clinton, whose voice could shatter glass.
    Michelle Obama, wood-splintering hard-ass.
Neither First Dame has a trace of class.
Let us fervently hope "This too shall pass."

  27. FT,
You know what's strange to me? Michelle Obama actually thinks that she has great fashion sense! What is it with her so often wearing those wide belts and unmatched outfits?

This is an unkind thing to say, but I'll say it anyway....Back when I was a child, our housekeepers (some white, some blacK) wore similar outfits put together from their bosses' castoffs. In fact, my mother did, too, if she had housecleaning or gardening to do.

The above said, I have seen Michelle Obama wear some nice outfits. But not often enough -- particularly for a First Lady, who should exude "class" and be a good role model for women and girls.

Hillary Clinton should always wear pants suits. She has "piano legs," best covered up.

There! My catty comment for the year!
