Worth your time and consideration (hat tip to Common Cents):

Can we ever get out from under these tyrannical boots?

I wonder if Americans have snoozed for too long.

  1. Some reactions to the video:

    1. He doesn't approach the issue of a mechanism to balance long and short term social gains. The market has not proven completely up to the task.

    2. If he wants a congress adequate to this task he better figure out a way to get the money out of the system.

    3. The California water situation is a lot more complicated than just the snail darter. To imply otherwise is to try to dumb down the populace.

    4. Law prof. at Colombia? I thought higher education didn't harbor right wingers?

  4. People were a lot freer under the ancient system of rule by a monarch than they have been ever since the toxic false ideals and seductive blandishments of Marxian Dialectics entered Publlc Consciousness and became reinvented and labelled as "Progressivism" by the insidious forces of Cultural Marxism.

The Administrative State is every bit as despotic as Caligula, Nero, Julius Caesar or Genghis Khan.

At the same time I often wonder if we wouldn't be better off if we skipped the ghastly farce of tellingrselves we live in a representative republic, sent cingress pacing forever, and simply elected a MONARCH with dictartial powers to be subjected to reelectiin or rejectiin in favor of a competing would-be tyrant every four ears.

Think how simple, sweet and serene life would be if CONGRESS ceased to exist, ACADEMICS were subject to summary execution for openly crticizing the duly-elected MONARCH, and the ENEMEDIA was put out to pasture once and for all!

    <];^}> Heh heh heh!

  5. Our political system is corrupted beyond repair. It is corrupt because human beings are corrupt. I do not think we can make American great again until we make America moral again. I'm not holding my breath.

    1. Sam,
Our ethos has been like the proverbial snowball rolling downhill. That snowball started out rolling very slowly, but picked up pace. Now we see that snowball barreling like mad and destroying everything in its path.
