Steps To The Caliphate

"Arabs, rise as one man and fight for your sacred rights. Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion. This saves your honor. God is with you.” — Hajj Amin al Husseini on German Nazi radio on March 1, 1944.
Seven steps to the caliphate, from this 2005 article based on material from Jordanian journalist Fouad Hussein, back when Al-Qaida was the primary Islamic threat (hat tip to Infidel Bloggers Alliance):
The First Phase Known as "the awakening" -- this has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the US into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby "awakening" Muslims. "The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaida as very successful," writes Hussein. "The battle field was opened up and the Americans and their allies became a closer and easier target." The terrorist network is also reported as being satisfied that its message can now be heard "everywhere."

The Second Phase "Opening Eyes" is, according to Hussein's definition, the period we are now in and should last until 2006. Hussein says the terrorists hope to make the western conspiracy aware of the "Islamic community." Hussein believes this is a phase in which al-Qaida wants an organization to develop into a movement. The network is banking on recruiting young men during this period. Iraq should become the center for all global operations, with an "army" set up there and bases established in other Arabic states.

The Third Phase This is described as "Arising and Standing Up" and should last from 2007 to 2010. "There will be a focus on Syria," prophesies Hussein, based on what his sources told him. The fighting cadres are supposedly already prepared and some are in Iraq. Attacks on Turkey and -- even more explosive -- in Israel are predicted. Al-Qaida's masterminds hope that attacks on Israel will help the terrorist group become a recognized organization. The author also believes that countries neighboring Iraq, such as Jordan, are also in danger.

The Fourth Phase Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate is that "the creeping loss of the regimes' power will lead to a steady growth in strength within al-Qaida." At the same time attacks will be carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy will be targeted using cyber terrorism.

The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared. The plan is that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared. Al-Qaida hopes that by then the Islamic state will be able to bring about a new world order.

The Sixth Phase Hussein believes that from 2016 onwards there will a period of "total confrontation." As soon as the caliphate has been declared the "Islamic army" it will instigate the "fight between the believers and the non-believers" which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.

The Seventh Phase This final stage is described as "definitive victory." Hussein writes that in the terrorists' eyes, because the rest of the world will be so beaten down by the "one-and-a-half billion Muslims," the caliphate will undoubtedly succeed. This phase should be completed by 2020, although the war shouldn't last longer than two years.
Are we in the sixth of the seven stages right now with ISIS leading the charge?

    1. I think you are correct Bunkerville. Obama is NOT so stupid as to realize that what he's doing now isn't working. So why does he persist in a failing strategy? My guess is it's part of his Alynskyite plan to cause so much chaos in the U.S. and the world that his believed neo-Marxist revolution can take hold. I know that sounds whacky but how else can one explain what he's doing?

I don't know but my question would be: Is our, so called, Commander-in-Chief still in the [stage] of denial or worse?

  5. this will only happen if we continue to be PC and concede to ISIS demands to leave the ME, etc etc...."or else".
if we don't, and keep pounding them, they'll be shocked at our resolve and we could stop them. They're depending on Huff Post and The Nation readers to wimp out and actually believe "if we leave the ME, jihadists will be satisfied and stop and we can all go back to our happy world again.

You're more optimistic than I am.

  6. It is time to drop the PC BS and take the fight to them. BUT that would require leadership, which we currently do not have... But I do believe if they try that crap here, the reception will be significantly different than Paris... We have guns, and we know how to use them...

  7. ISIS is not AQ, and this is just dreamy talk from AQ leadership that is either now insignificant, jailed or dead.

There will never be a global caliphate. Forget the impossibility of Shia lying down with the Sunni; the Sunni Salafists hate the Sunni Sufis...

All they will achieve--and they've pretty much accomplished it--is to infiltrate troublemakers into the hated western nation, and propagandize western-born soft-headed youths and recruit them to the growing, dispersed army of troublemakers.

They will use western stupidity, tolerance and diversity to tamp down criticism as they inveigle their way in and smuggle in their worst practices.

When called out, they will use the west's liberties and enlightened liberal judicial system against them in brilliant jujitsu moves: Using "tolerance" in increase their own intolerance of others.

Finally, western lands will be pockmarked with virulent pustules and abscesses of extreme islamic hate and intolerance, and there won't be a damned thing anyone can do about it.

There will be no caliphate, but there will be routine and frequent flares of sectarian violence that cannot be predicted or stopped, which is to be expected since we imported an alien people, their religious bigotries, cultural malignancies, histories, and all the raging troubles and sicknesses that go along with that.

That is the endgame. No sudden takeovers and imposition of Sharia in the West. Rather, it will spread like a stain and so dither and tie up Western governments that they can no longer control world events or stop bad guys from acting out on the world stage.

Look at Europe. Their fear of their Muslim populations already colors their language and determines their feckless foreign policy.

When you import people, you get all the baggage that comes with them.

    2. Question Silverfiddle, why France?

There have been terrorist attacks elsewhere in Europe to be sure but they have generally been lone actors closer to murderers than terrorists. There were the London and Madrid train bombings but nothing on a major scale in those countries since.

Countries like Sweden or Germany who have been accepting have been free of major incidents.

But France has a long history as a terrorist target:

      OAS (far right)
      Carlos the Jackal (Marxist-Lenenist)
      Abu Nidal (Palestinian)
      ASALA (Armenian)
Hezbollah (Palestinian, rare attacks outside Lebanon or Israel)
      National Liberation Front of Corsica
      ... now Islamists.

Outside France you've had the IRA, Bader-Meinhof and Basque Liberation but Bader-Meinhof wasn't really an organized movement and the Basques went to lengths to avoid civilian casualties.

You would think that by now France would have antiterrorism forces in place. The British certainly have learned from their experience with the IRA.

Myself, I think we are going to discover that the attacks are planned in Belgium, the next terrorist hotspot.

Recommended viewing. If you've never watched Pontecorvo's, Battle of Algiers , it's still important.
The history was in place long before ISIS.

    3. Why France? Good question. But who says France has not been "accepting?"

It's a culture clash at its heart. The West should never have invited in peoples from cultures so different. Below the level of "terrorist attack" are thousands of incidents, from decapitations to noisy demands the hosts remove some offending cultural symbol.

The end result will be the death of classical liberalism in the West, and if we lose that, we've lost our very identity.

    6. I think you over complicate, all your fact indicates is that the enemy doesn't give a rats ass who they kill in the furtherance of their agenda, would you expect anything less from an enemy that kills themselves to achieve martyrdom? Meanwhile we fight with one hand tied behind our backs. The West sees things in shades of gray, Jihadists in terms of black and white, "God Said" is all they need.

Don't worry though, sooner or later they will achieve something so catastrophically horrendous that the West will toss aside its moral waffling over collateral damage and you will see Muslims die in great numbers, unnecessarily I might add, because we lacked the moral fortitude to act when it was simply nothing more than a minor annoyance. Don't get me wrong, the Paris attack was a horrific tragedy but in a strategic big picture sense the attack was meaningless. The Blitz killed that many a night for nine months running and didn't break the English will. No, sooner or later they will get exceptionally lucky and the worst of humanity will show its ugly face and you'll get to see modern warfare unrestrained by guilt or conscience. Mark my words.

Also, in part because the Jews hold themselves 'apart', they are easily identified as "the other." Humans typically have an inherent fear of "the other."

    2. FreeThinke,

Assuming your question about why the Jews are hated is a real one, here's my opinion, based on personal experience and decades of thought, study and observation. I'm not trying to convince, just present a point of view.

The hatred of the Jews can only be fully understood from a spiritual perspective. The Old Testament presents the Jews as a small and insignificant people, chosen by God to manifest His power and blessing to the world, primarily through the birth of the messiah, which is Jesus Christ. Lucifer/Satan hates mankind, and especially hates Christ and the Jews. Humans following Luciferian mystery school religions sometimes reveal themselves by their scapegoating of Jews.

The New Testament people of God - Christians - come from all people and are "grafted in" to the Jewish nation. The Bible presents only one people of God - Christians who are born into Israel and believe (Jews) and those from all the other nations of the world who believe and are adopted into Israel. (These are the people of God, not the political country.)

Jews by birth who do not believe in Christ are what most people think of when they talk about "the Jews". They have always been a miniscule part of the total human population. What other conquered ancient people with no land, enslaved, hated, still exists? There has never been a time when Jews were not despised. The fact that they still exist is a very real proof for the existence of God. He keeps the Jews alive, and still gives faith to some in every generation.

And not all Jews keep themselves apart. Non-religious Jews who have turned away from the 613 commandments in the Torah assimilate within 2 generations. This has been the case throughout history. It was the case in Nazi Germany. It is also the case in the USA and Europe.
